In DDD, Lea awoken in Radiant Gardens alongside some of the Organization's members. Then he used the "DTD" to travel  into Disney Castle in order to save Queen Minnie from Maleficent and later on, in the nick of time, save Sora in the clutches of Seekers of Darkness. Then, he announced that he will join the fight against Xehanort. I just don't understand why Lea is part of GoL rather than SoD. I was definitely surprised.

What is his true intentions? Does he remember the events of Re:CoM and 358/2 Days? Is it to save Roxas and Xion? or will he be the "key" (pun intended) in order to save Aqua in the Realm of Darkness?

Axel is one of my favorite characters and l would love him to have a big role in KH3 and to be reunited with Roxas and Xion.

Not at all- he's one of my favorite characters but he's a loose cannon

I think he's with the GoL to try and get Roxas back, and while doing so will probably remember about Xion

"Hey Axel, you haven't forgotten?"

"Hm? What?"

"You made us a promise."

"I did?"

"That you'd always be there to bring us back."

"Yeah."

"Got it memorized?"

"Heh, best friends forever."

I'm a believer that Lea/Axel is just following his own agenda (saving Roxas and Xion), and I think the fact he happens to be fighting on the side of good is just a fringe benefit.  He strikes me as the kind of guy who'd be just as likely to side with the baddies if it meant getting Roxas and Xion back--then backstabbing the baddies after he's finished using them, because manipulation is just what he does.  So no, I would not follow the guy into a dark alleyway, but there's a good chance he'd charm me into believing he doesn't have his own plan.

After seeing him Kidnap Kairi, I'm appalled at the fact that everyone wants him and Kairi to team up...

I'd whack him with a keyblade given half a chance.

On the contrary I don't believe he has an agenda at all. He's just doing what he thinks is right. And helping Sora reminds him of how Roxas made him feel when he had nothing to feel with. Getting Roxas/Xion back would just be a plus if it actually happens.

Axel and Sora were fighting together in the end of KH2. So there was a deep band between them.

I guess he might got some memories of Axel if he then does remember Roxas and XIon.

Lea/Axel plays by his own rules. Edit: To an extent

His main goal is to get Roxas back because of his promise. 'The Other Promise'

If it means getting a keyblade and fighting for the lights then he will do what it takes.

So, with that having been said, I would trust him if and only if I was one of his best friends.

Well, considering that he's my favorite character, and he's a really good friend from what we've seen... Yeah, I'd trust him. He probably does want to see Roxas back, but I also think he wants to make up for what he did in CoM and KHII.

Why wouldn't you trust him? Hes supposed to be one of the 7 guardians of light. Hes a good guy

yes and no. i love him, but i'd be kinda scared of him if i didn't know him too well. but if i was bestfriends with him id follow him with caution.

Yes. He's voiced by Flynn. :P

This,  <3

I would since he's friends with Roxas which I love!

If I had a very good reason, I'd trust him. I think he really is loyal to his friends, but doesn't care much for others.

And I think his goal is to save Roxas (and Xion, thoguh I doubt he remembers her).

Well, we all now how cold, treacherous and good liar he was in COM and 358/2 days (this is what I love of the character). But I think that the friendship with Roxas and Xion reminded him how he was before his transformation in a Nobody. They became important to him (it was the diference with the others Org members in COM) and he realized how he and Saix had changed from before. With his old friend almost not caring for their friendship, he decided to protect his ``little brother and sister``. At the end I think that he has really changed as he regretted having manipulated the poor Riku Replica. But well, maybe they want to show us another surprise backstabing for his side.

I think that he is a straigth good guy now, he moves from only the interest to protect Sora, and thus Roxas, but he is a good guy.

His main intention is himself.  That's part of what makes him such a compelling character.  That and the transformation he undergoes throughout the series.  He slowly comes to realize what is truly important to him and what is really going on.  He is one of those in between guys.  As for whether I'd trust him, that's a big fat maybe.

well he is an assasin as well as a dubble agent

I mean, I dunno. It's hard to say. I'm an avid lover of both Roxas and Xion, so I think I'd volunteer to HELp the guy.Plus, who can say no to this face?

He liked Roxas a lot .

he's a manipulative guy. Like Dracozombie said, he's the type of person to backstab as long as he gets what he's going for. In this case im 100% sure that it's for Roxas and Xion. Well, he doesn't remember Xion now, but at least he remembered what he told her the day before she died..."I'll always be there to bring you back!" But now the memory is misplaced to make him think that he told Roxas that instead. But Roxas did say that "you'll always come back for uswhich could be referring to himself and Xion.

So i think its for that reason. Solid.

I trust that Lea has decided to fight for the Guardians of Light for these reasons:

  • The obvious one, which is to bring Roxas and Xion back, hence the saying: "I'll always be there to bring my friends back!"
  • To obtain redemption and vengeance, because Xehanort has messed up his life.
  • And this, I think, is also a valid reason, which is to knock some sense into Isa and possibly regain him back as a friend.

I'm pretty sure Lea will have his epic moments to shine, there's no doubt about that!  I'm very excited to see what will happen with him in Kingdom Hearts III! :D

I probably would, he was mostly a good guy in CoM and II, he was just being controlled by the bad guys.
