The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly magazine has included an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series. While the interview focuses on other Square Enix projects, mostly Dissidia Final Fantasy, Nomura has mentioned that the Kingdom Hearts series will be expanding to smartphones and he has more announcements coming soon. In addition development is progressing well for Kingdom Hearts III and they will be able to reveal more soon.

anyway, my Android phone is ready, if whatever this is is coming to it. hope it's not iOS-exclusive, it's not the first time one of SE's mobile games has been like that

This is exactly what I wanted. This was on my wish list day one. Kingdom Hearts III on PS4? Pfft, screw that. I wanna play the next Kingdom Hearts on a 7 inch smartphone.

Well,I wanna play KH3 on PS4.

This actually isn't as upsetting as I thought it would be. I guess maybe they'll put some spin off/non-cannon games on smartphones or something.

Oh wow.  I have expected this to be in the random section.  I'll take good news.

It's fine... just localize it. People can deal as they will, but bring it to different languages. That's all you need.

I hope there are some love for the android. My only problem is the use of data (data usage)... I would have to play the game at a really slow pace.

Hmm, well this is interesting!  I can't say that I'm upset about the series expanding onto smartphones, so I'll just reserve my judgement until we have a Kingdom Hearts app at the ready!  Then again, I just love everything Kingdom Hearts, so I'll love whatever Square cooks up!  Good God, I need more information on Kingdom Hearts III! D:

it would honestly depend on the game for me, but lets face it its kingdom hearts of course im going to play.
