Anyone else notice the stuff that's happening on KH13? Topic of the day is using the same stuff as before, Webmasters don't show up as often as they used to do, barely any new users, new topics are the same thing but with a different name of the topic, almost nobody ask for help in the 2.5 & 1.5 forums, and recently Sora96 retires forever. Does this mean KH13 is done for? I'm not trying to that guy who ruins everything, but who's going to update & alert us with the latest news from Square Enix? Or actually post a thread with originallty that isn't a copy of a old thread with a new name? Or a god dang original-but-not-done-before topic of day? I can come up with millions of original topics of the day. But unfortunately, I have to constantly update about the voice actors birthdays. Can I just post topics of the day? That's all I want to do. Back to what I was saying, KH13 is losing its luster and becoming a dead forum every single day. Soon enough, it's going to have the same fate as Kingdom Hearts Ultimania. (This guy probably predicted the future. http://kh13.com/forum/statuses/all/?member_id=52459&st=30 ) Is it finally time for us KH fans to move on to a new dawn that will shine upon us? Or just simply move to a different forum and leave this place as a lost forgotten memory? Or perhaps try to bring in new members? What should we do?

Maybe the site needs new moderators and team members to fill in the spaces who can give new and unique info.

True, we get info about FF games, DQ games, and many more other game series, but we just don't have enough people keeping an eye on many different things.

Think: Sora96 was the main one posting much about Square Enix games, nobody else even announced anything about these games. Yep, one person. Then with Kingdom Hearts news as a whole, mainly announced by: Jake, Toominator, etc.

I could go on, but the point is, the teams need more NEW members who are still familiar with the site's mechanics and can find info as easily as our old team leaders (Sora96, Toominator, etc.) Which can be done by the leaders' teaching new team members how to post the news themselves.

The missing piece we are missing is none other than "TEAM WORK". If we get that, finding and sharing news is a breeze.

I rest my case.

Rock on!

The end of KH13?

The Moderators Team does that just fine xD

There is nothing wrong with our Moderator team and we still have plenty of great News team members and Social Media members who do great jobs. I have been here for years and slow times come and go as new info comes and go. Nothing is dying here. The people who stay here between heavy news and slower times do so bc of the community and friends we have made. Honestly I find this thread rather ridiculous yet funny bc it's so overdramatic.

I guess... But it would be pretty cool to see new Team members along with the old. :) The Moderators are doing fine! It's just that it could use some new faces in the Moderator Team.

We do not need more and that's why we don't have more. We are great at teamwork and we have a great Webmaster and great staff in general.

Lol KH13 isn't dying. Webmasters are busy and I'm sure they have other obligations outside of this site, just as all of us have, that's not to say they don't still come online. Users come and go, but I'm sure we're pulling in some new users, and we'll probably pull in even more once big news drops. I've already explained what to do if you see a repeat topic. No one probably asks for help in the 1.5 & 2.5 section because those games have been out for a while now, I think the focus is on 2.8 and KHIII now. Sora96 had been planning to resign for a while now, and I don't blame him, he deserves a break after everything he's done, but he'll still stick around the site so I'm sure he can update us on what's happening with Square Enix. If you're talking about Kingdom Hearts alerts and updates we have a news team for that. I don't think KH13 is losing its luster, and we need to go elsewhere, it's fine and we'll continue to keep improving so it can expand and grow even more. :)

I could become a team member, but I don't know if I have the stuff or something like that.

I actually used to report on Dragon Quest news until my discussion/news threads were completely disregarded by other people reporting on similar news. Pretty sure I got to some stuff before Sora96 did. He wasn't the only one reporting Square Enix news, the rest of us were just overlooked. :/

I could become a team member, but I don't know if I have the stuff or something like that.

It's great that you're interested in becoming one! But as Lea said above the reason we don't have new ones yet is because there isn't a need for them yet. But that could change in the future. Usually when we need new staff members our team leaders do a roundup in the website forum. I wouldn't worry about not being sure if you have what it takes, you should apply anyways if you get the opportunity, and are interested, you have nothing to lose by applying. :)

It will be a long time before KH13 sees any actual decline. And even then, everything picks up again in the end.

The Staff Members do their jobs brilliantly, which is why I felt like I let the side down a bit when I was on it...I wasn't productive enough, I didn't engage, I....*ahem* Regardless of my mistakes, should another opportunity present itself or open up, I will not fail again.

The News Team posts when there's news, the Social Media Team shows Fanart, gives us Polls of the Day that CAN be different and come up with some interesting contests for us to participate in. (Looking at you, 2.5 Contest involving posts. xP)

The Archives Team did an amazing job, with Sora96 at the helm, we've got quite the archive of KH Things.

And my word, the Moderators...very on point with incidents, reports and general moderating...I don't give them enough credit and too much grief. :/

KH13, it's staff and members still have a lot to give through the coming times...and I look forward to it all.

P.S: Should any Staff Positions open up or be offered, I'm interested. I wish to improve from last time. And I'm keeping a hawks eye on Moderator Openings. xD

P.S.S: Thank you, KH13 Staff. :3

KH13 ain't gonna die.We have been through wars, dammit!Hell, I died in one of them, thanks to Weedanort!

In all honesty, I doubt that KH13 is going to die out anytime soon.

This is in the random section... why are people taking it seriously? O.o

Peace!

By topic of the day, do you mean poll of the day?  Because that's something we've been doing for years, and when a feature has been going on for as long as it has, there's going to be some repeats - mostly polls that where done more than a year ago.  As for people asking for help - those games have been out for a while and less people are playing them.  So less people need help.  Just wit until 2.8 comes out.  Things will pick up again.

Wakeless is correct!

We take it seriously because all of our staff teams work hard to make this site what it is, a quality place for everyone whether you're new or old, or staff or non-staff and comments saying we lack teamwork or are too prideful to include new members to our team are hurtful.

Not trying to be rude to anyone here, I'm just being honest here. :/

^^^ Exactly. We put a lot of work into trying to make this site great so everyone can enjoy it.

And you all do splendidly. :3

It's not going away, mods switch out all the time. It's not the site's fault that people post up topics that are basically regurgitated versions of something that was already made a topic before, it's because people have those kinds of questions and the older posts tend to not be very relevant anymore, so they're hard to find. Typically it's just easier to ask a question anew rather than have to sift through 5 years worth of topics just to find one simple answer somebody could have told you today. Also, because some people just didn't know that there was a previous version of the topic, so they just posted it without knowing any better. KH Ultimania is still around, the heck you talking about? Topic/Poll of the Day is what it is. Sometimes news or info changes which makes the topic relevant again with newer options and different opinions. So it's only natural that it repeats itself, it has to. As for less people needing help, that just probably has to do with the fact that it's been almost a full year since the last game release and by this point everybody is practically done with 1.5 and 2.5, so there aren't as many people in need of help. But it also depends on where you look, I still see a few people asking for help on what really should be simple problems, so at the very least there are some newer members/fans who aren't as savvy yet. And no, I don't think KH13 will die for a very long time. Not unless something catastrophic happens between most of the mods. So unless the story of Kingdom Hearts X began to manifest itself within KH13, I don't think such a thing as the end of KH13 will ever come to pass, unless Kingdom Hearts ended as well.
