Posted December 10, 20159 yr What are your thoughts on the graphics seen so far on Kingdom Hearts 3? I don't have an opinion.
December 10, 20159 yr KINGDOM HEARTS wise, the graphics are incredible! The colors are more vibrant, the models look more detailed, and the game just looks generally amazing. There was a problem with Sora's face in the E3 2015 trailer, but it seems to have been fixed in the recent screenshot(s).
December 10, 20159 yr Popular Post So far everything looks beautiful, except character models, which need some work. But the game is still in progress. I trust them.
December 10, 20159 yr Everything looks really cool, but especially with tthe one screenshot from D23, I feel like it still needs a lot of work.
December 10, 20159 yr I remember when the announcement trailer was shown and a lot of us (the fans) were blown away by the graphics. And then Nomura stated that those graphics wouldn't be the final look of the game and I was like "What?!" but dang he proved us wrong with the trailers that followed at D23 Japan 2013 and of course E3 2015. I think the game will look absolutely beautiful. Peace!
December 10, 20159 yr One word: UNBELIEVABLE! They blow every game from BbS to KH3D (chronologically speaking) out of the water, though not surprisingly.
December 10, 20159 yr i am not gonna lie. At first I preferred this over this because Sora looked like himself in the 1st trailer we ever got. But you know the new Sora grew on me. P.S I didn't mean for it to be so huge!!!! Sorry!!!!! )
December 10, 20159 yr I just want the framerate to be good I don't want it to be running at 25fps on the consoles if they don't port it PC and I actually have to play it on the PS4 which I would prefer not to do.
December 10, 20159 yr Oh my god, not THIS question again... *sighs* Look at this.. Creepy MOFO, stupid looking to the max, what a nerd, PFFFTTT. Now look at THIS beauty Come on now...
December 11, 20159 yr Oh my god, not THIS question again... *sighs* Look at this.. Creepy MOFO, stupid looking to the max, what a nerd, PFFFTTT. Now look at THIS beauty Come on now... well it's not asking which do u prefer, it's asking if you like what you see. simple(and clean) Edited December 11, 20159 yr by Dimi3Infinity
December 11, 20159 yr Honestly? It looks so-so. It could be a whole lot better. You get to the point you ignore visual snafoo's in KH, but for a supposed "Next generation" graphics, it could be better. I don't mean this offensively: this is my personal, 100% feel free to ignore opinion.
December 11, 20159 yr I have no clue about anything to do with programming or how games are made, and i know it's still in development but i really hope the images are a littleeeee... sharper? i think thats the word I'm after. Like the trailer with young Xehanort and Eraqus felt far too smooth for me for the edges of characters? I know some people love that, but i would much prefer personally if the edges were a little sharper perhaps like the KH2 opening for example. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c165/keoshii/bla_zps2uvju2zx.jpg But that may be an unreasonable comparison since i assume that the new graphics shown here are for in game and not just opening or ending sequences. I love the way the gameplay is looking though, gosh top notch! I just wonder what the cut scenes will look like. I don't know, its just a vibe thing for me i suppose but i trust no matter what itll be awesome and ill love what they do. Change is hard for something thats had such a consistent style and now it's changing up a bit. It'll be all gooood.
December 11, 20159 yr The art direction looks absolutely beautiful and I think it will represent the side of KH better. Since we didn't see the D23 trailer I can't say if they have fixed it yet or not, but in the E3 trailer all of the movements looked pretty stiff. Obviously that comes with the polishing side of things but other than that I have no gripes with it yet. I am going to need to see how all the characters and worlds look in the Kingdom Shader before I make a final judgement call.
December 11, 20159 yr Honestly, I've been blown away by what we've been shown so far! One of the things the KH series has is a unique visual style, and that style shines through in the trailers we've seen! And this isn't even the final product yet! Imagine how amazing the game will look when all the finishing touches are finally added! Ugh, it's going to be mind numbing! Gahhh, I can't wait for the next KHIII trailer to come around! X3
December 11, 20159 yr Oh my god, not THIS question again... *sighs* Look at this.. Creepy MOFO, stupid looking to the max, what a nerd, PFFFTTT. Now look at THIS beauty Come on now... Sora looks adorable ok?!?! ADORABLE!!!! I have no clue about anything to do with programming or how games are made, and i know it's still in development but i really hope the images are a littleeeee... sharper? i think thats the word I'm after. December 11, 20159 yr They're graphics, so I don't really care. There's nothing bad about them, so I don't have a reason to think about them. As for if they're anything special, I think that remains to be seen. There's clearly some cleaning up to be done with them and we haven't seen the full extent of what they can do. What we've seen so far has been very nice though.
December 11, 20159 yr I mean, graphics or artstyle? In terms of graphics, there are objectively better games out there; from a technical standpoint, these current ones are really good, but not mindblowing, per se. But it's how the art style directs the graphics that makes or breaks the visual component. As I say, I like both so far. I'm a little worried about the cutscenes taking on an uncanny valley kind of deal, but I think they'll pull it off in the end. And the graphics/effects are gorgeous, from what we've seen. A lot of attention to detail.
December 11, 20159 yr It looks great but it's still obviously a work in progress. Models still look a little rough and some parts of the environment but overall i can't wait to see the final build. It's already been 6 months since the e3 trailer and probably will be another 6 months till we see new footage. So hopefully there's a big noticeable jump in visuals the next time we see it.At least we already see some improvements from the recent screenshot. Dat face...but for some reason the hair looks worse.I don't get that,or maybe it's just the lighting in that area. Edited December 11, 20159 yr by GroovingOnUp
December 11, 20159 yr The graphics are honestly amazing Kingdom Hearts wise. They could be more realistic, but I don't think that would make it better in any way. It could be more detailed, and as many people have said, the characters can be improved, this is PS4, it can always be better . The game is still in developement, so just wait and see, we're all going to be relatively satisfied with the graphics at the end of the day.
December 11, 20159 yr The particle effects! The particle effects! So many particle effects! I LUV THE PARTICLES SOO MUCH! If a game has really good particle effects (Final Fantasy XIII trilogy, for example), then it's most likely good graphics for the game. MORE PARTICLE EFFECTS PLZ Rock on!
December 11, 20159 yr They look fantastic for the type of art style they are going for. The Kingdom Shader really does a great job complimenting the Unreal 4 engine, while still keeping the classic Disney cartoon feel. Let me know what you think.
What are your thoughts on the graphics seen so far on Kingdom Hearts 3?
I don't have an opinion.
