I honestly don't understand why people like Earthbound so much. i watched a few walkthough videos on it and I eventually stopped watching it because it was getting boring. I respect everybody who likes the series though. I honestly dislike most traditional rpgs

    Exiblade7 replied

I dislike most traditional rpgs for not being actiony

    MythrilMagician replied

It's an old game. If you actually play it yourself, you may like it.

    Isaix replied

Watching and playing a game are two different things, you have to play it yourself to really enjoy Earthbound

    Exiblade7 replied

I try it, but what i've seen so far with the game, it doesn't seem really good

    Exiblade7 replied

    *I might try it, but

    Isaix replied

Its probably not for everyone but me I really enjoyed the dialogue in that game,I think the creator spent like 5 years writing the game and you can really tell.

    Elrandir replied

It seems that most people don't like old rpgs. Turn based games aren't that popular anymore, they are being replaced by more action rpgs. I've been playing rpgs for a long time and I still prefer turn based games. I'm old fashioned xD

    Xiro replied

    Story maybe?

    Soul_Seeker replied

Honestly, Earthbound is one of those games where it's preferable that you played it by the time it came out. Otherwise, playing other RPGs might dumb down its impact a bit. I still liked it even though I played it later, but I could just be one of that group of people.

    Minato arisato replied

If people like undertale, EarthBound should be loved and I do too, It isn't your typical RPG. And yes play it your self, I didn't like fire emblem because didnt have doods sword dueling in live action, but i got firetrucking over it and i gave it a chance and enjoyed so i suggest you do the same

Even though I am not a huge Pokemon fan, but I like it, I have this in my head and can't get it out and yet love it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fweVpa3lCA&index=121&list=PLiGvWycRgz6jxd0UNkSWxVp_E03D0k-FP

The remaster of Rayquaza's appearance in Emerald. Gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

I think it would serve well in KH3 as a basis for a theme like Key of Darkness from BbS, but darker and more fear-inducing.

  3. venxas24 posted a status update

Replaying Twilight Princcess, I like most of it but the bug hunts are kind of boring imo

    Xiro replied

*accidentally steps on a Golden Bug*

    ... Weeeell crap

    Isaix replied

Yeh that and the Poe soul collecting are kinda tedious especially since they don't give you great rewards for completing them

Saïx is bamf (bad at making friends)

    Xiro replied

The moon is the only friend he needs.

    Shimmy replied

Haha the sucker doesn't even have that seeing as how he wasted roughly 10 years of his life making a fake moon and died before it was completed.

    way to go buddy

    Xiro replied

But when he came back to li- oh wait that moon was destroyed ._.

... Yeah Saix (idk the alt code for the correct i) is 5ever alone

    Shimmy replied

True. //*pats back* It's ok Saïx at least your stupid ass hair hasn't turned gray yet

annnnd Lea probably will go get you maybe

    Xiro replied

    Maybe perhaps

    Shimmy replied

    Maybe probably not sort of

as in go eat a cactus Saïx Lea has other more important problems tbh

    Xiro replied

Like Roxas and... um...was it... ice cream?

    Shimmy replied

Ice cream is always top priority

    Xiro replied

"But Axel I'm tired and want to sleep."

"NO ROXAS WE MUST EAT ICE CREAM"

    Shimmy replied

    "The Icecream... it needs us..."

    Xiro replied

    "... Ugh fine"

And on that day, some ice cream bars fulfilled their shared destiny.

    Shimmy replied

    Xiro replied

"I know now... that Kingdom Hearts... IS ICE CREAM!"

*thousands of ice cream cones descend and stab Xehanort*

    Shimmy replied

Honestly sea salt ice cream is a major plot device already so why the heck not

let the ice cream kill Baldy Nort

    Xiro replied

When u want to have ice cream with Xehanort but he too old to handle the brain freeze

    Shimmy replied

the ice cream is too salty for him for he already has 13xs the amount of salt in his bloodstream then he's supposed to have

    Xiro replied

His heart couldn't take it (rip all his other plans and stuff)

    Shimmy replied

    Rip Baldy Nort

he had 12 children to take care of too

    "Well I'm running away!"

"No don't you'll mess up the timel-" *everyone disappears*

Man, college has been tough lately. Spring break came and went and it wasn't long enough. Summer break will be nice once it comes.

    Xiro replied

    The struggle resumes!

    DragonMaster replied

Same for me. I just got back from Spring Break last Monday and I already have 2 papers (one a research paper), a programming project (which I, thankfully, managed to get done already), and an exam coming up. Exam is this friday, rough draft of shorter paper is due Tuesday, and draft of research papers is due Saturday. Soo much work. X_X

    venxas24 replied

Same. I did nothing related to college over spring break so now I'm reviewing everything the day before. Can't wait for summer break in 5-6 weeks

    KHUndertaleFan25 replied

I just noticed that you and Sora have a 9 year age difference. I say 9 cause he's 16 in KH:3D, I think. Even if he was real, you couldn't have sex with him because he's under the consent. Just throwing it out there.

    Serife Isik replied
    :O omg
    Svard replied

I imagine it's a perspective based on what's socially acceptable as a hobby. I used to make MLP vectors when I was going through my brony phase, and I would take people's requests for OC ponies. Just the fact that I was a brony alone, was, by most people, not socially acceptable, and it might have been even more so that I created MLP vectors and wallpapers, because it was an "unhealthy obsession."

    Svard replied

People have their hobbies. If they're not doing harm, then, well, whatever. Really all that should matter is whether or not they're good people all in all.

Is this silly hedgehog revolution about real or fictional hedgehogs? If it's about the fictional ones, Sorry. Not interested in them all that much. I mean, look at me, I'm a filthy homestuck. Why you'd want me to join your revolution, I'll never know...

    Oli replied

I think I learned how to play as Sorey in tales of zestiria. Now I can't wait to play as the other characters and learn them.
