    Funny how parents encourage their kids to use their own imaginations. Doesn't that also mean that you're telling them to think freely? In that case, why do they not condone when their children end up adopting beliefs contradictory to their own?

    If a believe is harmful to a child it would be the duty of a parent to oppose it. Don't you think?

    Naturally we don't want our kids believing anything extreme. I only mean when it comes to matters of political or religious views. I grew up in a conservative Mormon family, and my dad was trying very hard to convert us back to his views when we said that we didn't agree with them. Especially so with my sisters. Ultimately though, we have to face the fact that our kids will have views of their own, and we have to respect that they have free will. That's my own view, though.

    It's okay to have different beliefs/opinions, as long as a) you don't shove it down someone's throats and b) respect each other and live with the fact we don't agree

    A parent has the right to raise their children in certain beliefs though. They love and want the best for you. Just food for thought, but I think you should listen to them.

    I understand that, and I am glad that he cares enough about his beliefs, and for us, to encourage a God-filled life. I have listened for the 18 years that I lived with him, looked at how the world works, and analyzed where the beliefs he had fit in. I came to my own conclusion that those beliefs didn't work for me.     Tales of is a gaming series I can finally like for the story without people saying "the story's too simple!" over and over again. That happened a lot when I was talking about the zelda game's stories on here.

    I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like virtual reality. I feel like it has a shot at being the future of games because people are so hyped but I'd personally rather it not be.

    I'm sure there are a lot more people out there that doesn't like virtual reality then you think. I made a post about virtual reality a long time ago and a lot of people said that they disliked it

    I just don't understand what games you could really play on it and it's gotta be hard on your eyes being right up close. Plus $400 is a lot for VR :/

    I honestly don't understand the liking towards the Xenoblade Chronicle games gameplay wise. Their stories seem interesting, but the gameplay looks really boring to me

    Trust me, it gets a lot better later on, the whole game starts slow, but as you continue playing it gets better in every aspect, and the gameplay is amazing when you've got a variety of team members and skills.

    normal attacks mean nothing in the grand scheme of that game well unless you over level

    The ordinary attacks are or forgotten because you've got so many skills or are used to do multiple hits (you can do that later on)

    It took me years to finish it because of what I said, it get progressively good, but at first it is a bit slow.

    The battlesystem has a lot of depth,its really great.I've heard this a lot but you shouldn't focus on the auto-attack and its actually a good idea for this game,later in the game when battles get more difficult,it allows you to focus on other things.If you had to manually use regular attack everytime some battles would probably be very annoying.
