So I have been starting over on the KH series to get ready for 2.8 to be released, so that way I can play KH3D first and try to understand the story better and then play KH0.2 and watch X(chi)'s thing. I want to be completely ready for when 2.8 comes out and then I can play 3 when (if) it comes out!

Do not say "the hype is real". Why? Quite simple. Remember D23 Japan when we did not get a trailer? People ranted for 2-3 weeks non stop. It was horrible and SQEX got trashed and accused of hating their fans. There have been times when some people ranted because what they were given did not reach their expectations and complained like spoiled children. Hype ruins the experience for a majority of people and it's effects make those who remained calm suffer.
KingdomHearts3 repliedTrue, but because of hype's horrible history, I say this for that reason and other people are saying "the hype is real". I do not whatsoever want to have dejà vu. I forgot to finish now as I think about it.
KingdomHearts3 repliedTell everyone how excited you are and yet keep a calm head. That's how the peace is kept and you are not in a foul mood because your experience was ruined.
Shulk repliedAgain: The word hype has nothing to do with people becoming disappointed. Bad announcements lead to disappointments. It's not going to hurt anyone if people use the word "hype," or become disappointed. We don't have to think everything is amazing, some people will be disappointed by some things. It's a part of opinions.

WakingDawn96 repliedShulk, people stating that they don't like something is fine, but it's when they force their own thoughts on to others and make others be forced into thinking the same way is not okay.
WakingDawn96 repliedRemember this as well, what may be a disappointment to you may be the best thing ever to someone else. I know that a lot of the things I like other people don't like and think low upon, such as Dr. Mario in Smash Bros being his own character slot.

Welp, today ended with me getting a copy of Persona Q at a ramen place from my aunt. And I have to say, today's been a great birthday! It isn't quite the best I've ever had, but it's been soothing and relaxing. I got plenty of stuff that I wanted, and I made some pretty cool memories, too. It;s a shame it'll be the last birthday I celebrate at the school I'm going to right now, but it was still great nonetheless!

You know... One of the upsides of being late to a huge fandom is that you don't have be around a lot of the stupid drama that occurred while it was at its peak in popularity...
Hargleblargleboo replied'Homestuck', mainly. I've been in the 'Steven Universe' fandom since it premiered, and some of the drama in the fandom has been unbearable. I cannot even imagine the drama with the Homestuck fandom back when it was REALLY popular. Holy Hell...

The word "hype" isn't what causes disappointment. Disappointing announcements cause disappointment.
