    There is still one more KH 3 event scheduled for Square Enix presents on Youtube this Thursday. I doubt we're getting another trailer though.

    Because even though they announced it in the first stages it was the very last world chosen so production on that started last. They might not have any content to show yet.

    Nintendo was very meh. No Prime 4. No Bayonetta 3. No new IP. No Animal Crossing. Fire Emblem delayed. Smash was cool for 10 minutes, but it went on for too long. Almost all that info could've been saved for the Treehouse. Nintendo had practically nothing.

    Agreed... Fire Emblem was cool, but otherwise it was disappointing. Mostly due to them showing so much Smash. I get it's a big thing, but 25 minutes out of 40 is a BIT excessive.

    Call me a SJW if you like, but I think the way Kingdom Hearts uses darker skin tone to represent evil/darkness is very inappropriate.

    That doesn’t justify anything. People of any skin color can be good or bad. By making their antagonists “darker” in skin tone, Square is unintentionally (I hope) reinforcing negative views of darker skinned people.

    By that same logic, you can make the argument that the shadow and neo heartless, being all black, encourages ppl to kill black ppl. And I'm not lying, that is a legit argument I've heard some morons use to hate on the Kingdom Hearts franchise. >.<

    No, that’s totally different. Shadows and Neo Heartless are not people. They don’t look human. Ansem, Xemnas, DiZ and Terranort do. I don’t see how you guys can defend this. It just isn’t right. For centuries darker people have been vilified and demonized because of their skin color and even if it’s not intentional, Kingdom Hearts is perpetuating that ideology.

    I don’t wanna hate on the series, it’s one of my favorite series ever. But as a black person, I can’t help but feel some type of way about this.

    Simple. If you feel that the KH franchise is promoting discrimination, or does not align with your values, then don't play it, don't support it. The same reason why I won't play TLOU2. Loved the first game, but not interested in the sequel.

    I grew up playing Kingdom Hearts, it’s important to me and pointing out that I have issues with some of its elements doesn’t mean I should stop playing. It’s not a black and white situation (no pun intended lol). I know that Japanese people aren’t as racially conscious as North Americans. They don’t share the same history as us and they’re from a very homogeneous country so stuff like this is bound to happen. I’m just pointing out a problem.

    Do I feel like KH is intentionally promoting racism? No. But the whole concept is still inappropriate.

    I've been thinking that, too. They need to give him new looks. Maybe an updated version of what he used to wear as a kid .

    Honestly, I feel it would be rather lazy if they didn't give him a wardrobe change. Unless it will play into his roll. But I still feel like Lea deserves more than an old coat.
