    Hey, so quick question. Was the Smash RP inspired by Dissidia? It feels like that's the case. I mean, two different forces calling upon heroes from various realms and times to fight in a war/game on various different battlefield. That's cutting it close to Dissidia.

    Yep, I definitely plan on picking it up when I get a PS4! I'm hoping for some new character reveals soon since I'm a little disappointed that they haven't been focusing on those, but it still looks fantastic so far.

    Yeah, the only new character seems to be Ysolda or whatever from FFXIV. But to be fair, the reveal of 3v3 combat is more than enough of an announcement to tide us over until more characters are revealed.

    There's also Ramza, though we haven't seen him in action yet. 3v3 is definitely a cool addition, though! I'm also hoping they'll still keep 1v1 in case people want to do that, too.

     

    As for characters, as much as I want some new characters to be shown, I'm hoping for the return of the mighty Gilgamesh soon!

    Actually, I would really like for Gabranth to make a comeback. He was my main in 012, and I absolutely loved playing as him.

    Terra was my main, although Gilgamesh is still one of my favorites. I'm not very good with him, but... he's Gilgamesh. Everyone knows how much I like him. xD

    Yeah. And honestly, I don't see why he wouldn't. He's appeared in the most number of Final Fantasy games. What's one more?

    Exactly! I personally do think that they'll bring back everyone from 012, but I still can't wait for the official confirmation.

    Yeah, same here. Though in all honesty, I'd rather they replace Shantotto with Prische for the FFXI representative. I'm better with Shantotto, but by the lords she's annoying, even in battle.

    Prishe is definitely more interesting than Shantotto, but at the same time, it would feel weird to not have Shantotto in. xD

    I don't think it is going to come to NA until 2.8 does so people would be tricked into having to buy 2.8 to understand the story of X

    Nomura never promised a KH game every year, especially not for NA – he just mentioned it as a loose goal a long time ago in a Japanese interview, it holds no weight.

    Well DC, Sakurai said that he thought about making Assist Trophies in Melee with the example being the ducks from Duck Hunt in an interview, and look at where we are now with assist trophies in the game and Duck Hunt as a full fledge fighter. Just saying, sometimes words in past interviews can hold weight even if it doesn't seem like it is going to.

    Yeah but if Sakurai had never done anything with Duck Hunt, you wouldn't be up in arms saying "but he promised!", would you? And people shouldn't do the same to Nomura over the one year thing, when it was never a promise to begin with.

    Well my point is just that it could hold weight, I am not saying that he actually does have to promise us anything, as it isn't always easy to keep promises and loose goals, as I bet if this was the other way around, people would be mad at Nintendo for no new Pokemon core series game this year as there isn't going to be unlike the past years.
