It is time...... For my first attempt (and hopefully last attempt) to obtain my acctualy Driver's License! Well then... FORWARD! UNTO VICTORY!
Unto The abyss repliedT__T Abyss failed after much mental preparation and after feeling so asdured of his own success. He now feels broken. And slightly drained of doing anything. Abyss must wait another week for his freedom. He now slinks into a temporary depression.

So, I've been playing KH 2.5, and I have to ask...WHERE is that extra something that Nomura said we'd get for completing 1.5? Did he say it and just sort of forget to put it in?
Official Bowtie Artist repliedUgh. Well the moment you find out, let me know, and the moment I find out, I'll let you know.

I've decided that when I get a PS4, I will import the Metal Slime one... Unless the price goes up a lot before I can afford one.

Heartless Plush repliedD: gah! indeed we need it over here. We luvs the Dragon Quest! Also, Merry Christmas!

I BOMBED my phonetics final. Completely bombed it. I'll still pass the class, but holy cow. I haven't done that bad on a test since High School. At least it's over
I never want to touch phonetics again in my life.Amber Cole repliedim sure you'll be okay! We've all bombed a test at least a few times! Plus, you're awesome so you couldn't have done that bad

Dark Souls 2 or MGR: Revengeance? DS2 or Revengeance? DS2 OR REVENGEANCE??? DS2 OR
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedI've played both, and goddamn, do I prefer DS2. I've heard it said that you always like the first Souls game you play first though, and that was technically my first.
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedIt hasn't been all that bad for me, but then, I haven't died too much yet. In general, DS2 seems to put you in less certain-death situations than DS1 did- by which I mean, situations in which you're all but guaranteed to die if it's your first time in an unfamiliar area. You don't die as much, is my point. Plus, human effigies.
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedAlso being summoned and whatnot, but I don't really interact online, so I'm not familiar with that.
Dave repliedI thought the health-degeneration actually made more sense: it gives death more of a consequence, which kind of off-sets any easier times the player might have had with the addition of health gems and teleporting. Not to mention that it makes sense in terms of lore, as it indicates that you're slowly going hollow.
hatok repliedIt's a backwards kind of punishment though, it makes the game harder for the less skilled, and easier for the more skilled
it sends a very bizarre message "Oh, this place was too hard and you died? Well try again, except now it's harder!"
I don't think DS deaths should punish you too much for death, it's more about learning, the challenge shouldn't come from artificial limitations, it should come from challenging design
Dave repliedI felt that it added stakes to the game, and made dying more of a big deal. Besides, I would argue that getting cursed in the first Dark Souls was more of an ass-pull, because there were only a handful of places you could fix it, and the places where you got cursed were usually incredibly inconvinient. The only reason why killing the Gaping Dragon took me so long was because I was stuck with half health, and it wasn't worht traveling back to get decursed.

You can also probably go an entire day without shitting yourself, which I guarantee he cannot. Perspective, man.
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedI'd personally rather be able to control my own colon than be able climb a rock wall. Maybe you feel differently?
