Dio Brando repliedThe only thing a Fal'cie show to a l'cie for their focus is a poorly edited scene in their dream that explains nothing which leads to said l'cie interpreting it in anyway they want resulting them to not do what the Fal'cie intended for them to do.The game's excuse is that they're godly beings that human can't understand their speech.......BUT THEN HE REVEALS THAT HE CAN TALK HUMAN LANGUAGES PERFECTLY AND TELL THEM THEIR FOCUS ANYWAY

For how significant Garland seems to the plot he was barely there compared to Kuja who established his presence very early on
