Post your favorite video game music.

Breg Epona (.hack G.U. vol 3 Redemption)

The best music from one of the best video games I've ever played.

Modern Rooftop Run (Sonic Generaions)
http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEr1ftorfjY
My favorite level in the series brought back in Generations, and it is glorious!

Eternal Engine (Sonic Adventure 2 Battle)
http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGt58uPGBrY
How did Tails get the most bada** level music in the game?

A Fight to the Death (Kingdom Hearts 2)
http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=9unf3KFjlSc
When people normally think of KH boss battle music, they normally think of Darkness of the Unknown or Lord of the Castle or Destiny's Force, but this is my favorite boss music in the series because it just goes all out with the epicness.

True Heroes (Viewtiful Joe 2)
http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=tu93_tjV-PE

Why the hell have I not seen this on any "Top 10 Final Boss Music" list? That is a crime.

HOW CAN I FORGET PMD!?     GenV was good, improved music, bass and all, but something in the previous Gens always made me like them the most.

Any FF, KH, or Touhou soundtrack songs are the best.

I had a lot of soundtrack in my head but I'll post some

(Now I know I'll be killed by FF fans for the last one but who cares??)

Both of the Dawn of War Games have a fantastic OST. They capture the feel of the Warhammer 40k Universe perfectly.

Company of Heroes captures the feel of the Western Front of World War 2 perfectly.

On the other hand Red Orchestra 2 captures the feel of the Eastern Front of World War 2 perfectly

I also loved the Battlefield 2142 soundtrack. Each map had it's own unique theme that perfectly fits the battleground and the point in the story line the battle takes place.

Finally there is the Halo soundtrack, which only seems to get better and better.

It isn't part of an OST but it deserves a post. OcRemix know how to do things.

This song is from Final Fantasy 4, when you fight against Xeromus. It's frickin epic, and it's also available as downloadable DLC music for Dissidia 012. The rhythm is catchy and I can't help but grin when I hear this song. It's awesomely epic! :D

why can't we just have all this nice orchestral, awesome, mood setting music in our actual games?

Just do it!

Doooo iiiiit!

Oh hey I have that CD!~ Yes I agree they should put the orchestral versions in the games too!~ Especially Ballad of the Goddess I love that one.

Of course it would be nice to hear music with this high quality in games. Problem is that it's pretty expensive to hire orchestra and put them to first train those songs and then do auditions and all that stuff.
