If I was Tetsuya Nomura then this this is how I would make KH3's story.

 

There will be four main stories.

 

First, a prologue with the characters somehow finding a way to bring back the other main characters (Ventus, Aqua, Terra, Roxas, Xion, and Namine)

 

Then the four main stories start (as mentioned before).

Story # 1 : Sora, Riku, and Kairi

Story # 2 : Roxas, Lea, and Xion

Story # 3 : Ventus, Aqua, and Terra

Story # 4 : Mickey, Donald, and Goofy

 

After completing those stories, there is a Final story.

Final Story: Sora, Ventus, and Roxas

 

And if collecting all Ansem Reports. there is a Secret Story.

 

I know, this isn't gonna happen because it's already been confirmed that the party is the usual three (Sora, Donald, and Goofy), but as I said before,this is MY VERSION of KH3.

 

How would you make the story if you were Tetsuya Nomura?

I would make it good.

I would decide to make the "lost" characters return at different times throughout the story, and I believe that Namine should have an important role in the story.

I probably would have done something similar, though Sora, Riku, and Kairi would be the most playable characters. Otherwise, I'm pretty confident in Nomura's creative skills far surpassing mine.

I would hand it over to Dave, who I would actually trust to make it good.

I'd have each character solo it like in birth by sleep. 7 storys until the final story. that way the game is for sure to last forever

Leave most up to the OP then make a secret ending where Xion kicks ass and takes names.

Why do people want all these seprate stories and playable characters? I understand it may be enjoyable to some playing as their fav charactrs but in the end you should have your one character you develop over the game into YOUR character. Honestly to the OP your idea would be a horrible game lol. It would be terribly messy and I guarantee you SE would recieve a lot of scrutiny because of it.

Oh God, I can't even imagine being able to write KHIII's story. Too much pressure. Dunno how Nomura does it. 

 

I'd probably add in all the worlds from my list into the story, though.

I keep thinking this when I'm at work for some reason.

 

Kairi and Axel are on a rescue mission together to get Aqua who is still lost in the darkness. Then after Rescuing Aqua, Aqua tells the gang where they can find Ventus, and we travel back to Castle Oblivion, where we get confronted by some of the members of the 13 Darkness.  After Rescuing Ventus we go to Sora's main story and get to go to tons of different Disney Worlds, and then the story continues.

I would introduce a new original character to mix things up even more.

I would have it start with Aqua somehow leaving the Dark Margin. Then show Terra in his dark form. Then have Sora, Donald and Goofy search for Aqua, Terra and Ventus. They first find Aqua and she tells them what happened to Ven and Terra. They find their way to CO without knowing Terranort is following them. They find Ven in CO and end up facing Terra before they are able to revive him. Riku then helps Terra escape from the clutches of the darkness, and they awaken Ven, who is told of everything that is going on. Meanwhile Mickey, Riku and Kairi are looking for the RoD knowing that Master Xehanort would be there. They find it and are unable to unlock the door to it. When Sora, Donald, Goofy, Terra, Ven and Aqua catch up to them the 7 heros of light are able to unlock the door and fight the 13 darknesses, eventually taking out Xehanort, all while Lea is facing his own troubles with the ex-Organisation members.

Well, since no one knows what goes through the genius Nomura's master mind, I would probably do unbelievably unpredictable things that would mess with the players psyche and make them cry, add significant backstory or character development to a few characters, I'd make the story long, and I'd mindfudge with people's heads, and then I'd make sure that they would have to keep guessing what comes next, I'd sprinkle a few character deaths here and there, and then when they see the ending they'll love it but hate me for making them go through such an emotional ride, since it'll be filled with tragedy upon tragedy.  I'm sorry, but since this is KH3, I think it'll be the darkest, most bittersweet game, so I'm just thinking that it's what Nomura would do, lol.

I would have the main story played as Sora,Donald and Goofy travelling the worlds looking for key to return hearts and have short extra chapters inbetween where you play as others such as Riku and Mickey in the realm of darkness looking for Aqua

I would have the worlds of:

 

Tangled

 

Lion King 2

 

Wreck-it Ralph

 

Pirates 2

 

Lilo & Stitch

 

Brave

 

Brother Bear

 

Frozen

 

Mickey Mouse Cartoon

 

Final Fantasy

 

And some other classical Disney movies

 

 

 

And I would also have it to where Sora and Kairi finally kiss, and Roxas becomes his own person and ends up with Namine, and Riku ends up with Xion, who becomes her own person, and everyone gets a proper ending that can lead to a new beginning.

If you have played bbs you must know that Sora is the one that must save her a high chance also for the rest.

 

Sora, Donald and Goofy are always together in the numbered titles.

I love how the team will split in Riku/Mickey and Lea/Kairi I don't want to change it.
