If a main character died in Kingdom Hearts 3, who would you want it to be and why? I'm kind of thinking I want to see Riku died I got mad respect for the guy after playing 3D, but if one has to go, I would want it to be him.

Maybe Lea. He's the least important main character really & he was suppose to be dead in KH2, but came back due to fan demand. Maybe Isa will strike the final blow, like Saïx did in the manga. I feel like Riku would have a huge emotional impact, but I think he's to important to die...

Well, if there's one character I think will die, it'll probably be Terra.  Now why, you might probably ask, that I say this?  Because after having been possessed by Xehanort, when Terra is rescued by Sora and the gang, he will want to redeem himself for his past actions.  Fast forward to the final battle, and just as Xehanort is about to deliver the final blow to our heroes, and Terra makes a selfless sacrifice to buy our heroes just enough time to counterattack, and then he parts with his final words: "Ven, Aqua...I did my best...to set things right." and then he fades away, like Master Eraqus did.  I don't know why, but I strongly feel Terra will die.  Probably not, but who knows?

I agree. Death doesn't give the story more depth or make it better in any ways.It's actually pretty cliche. The only person who truly deserves to die and should die is Xehanort for obvious reasons.

I agree except for poor Terra . He didn't deserve his fate . It's depressing  Especially when he vowed to make it right . So sad.

Well I know there are ways to save everyone and most of them probably will be used I was merely speaking from a scenario where someone HAD to make a sacrifice play.

And Eraqus....no seriously there is no point in bringing back Eraqus to life,he served his purpose in the story and there is no point of him coming back

I will just say it.  All of the new organization XIII will die.  Isa and Briag and any other Xehanort has made into his clones will die and not come back, except maybe Terra.

I can understand why you feel that way about Eraqus. Honestly, his stupidity basically made MX's plan a piece of cake to carry out and if Eraqus had been a LOT more intelligent about things BBS could've went differently. But we all know that since it was a prequel certain events had to happen and none of them good so these bad events had to occur . I just wish it was better done. BTW BBS is one of my favorite games but i recognize the flaws, especially in the story .

 

Eraqus could come back,as hinted by Ansem the Wises data,but that doesn't mean he definitely will. I'm not a big fan of his either but I do admit it's possible to bring him back too if they wanted. Nomura made a big deal outta pointing out Eraqus is hiding out in Terra so Eraqus will play out some factor in KH3 for sure but just how much is hard to say .

Lea, just because he would have an awsome and meaningful death.

No one dies in Kingdom Hearts.

 

But I DO kinda like the idea of Sora dying. Don't ask why.

I've also felt for a LONG time now that Isa will die... at least I want he and Lea to fight (well, they have to cuz they're friends).

Disney says no.

Mufasa died, Frolo died, Gaston died; sure Disney is much different now but I get the feeling if Nomura wanted too, he could kill off a character.

 

And I think that character should be either Sora, Xehanort, or both of them. Ideally Sora sacrifices himself to rid us of Xehanort permanantly.

Besides Xehanort and his followers, I'm predicting Lea and Riku will bite the dust during the 7 vs. 13 battle at the end. Lea will sacrifice himself to destroy Isa, and Xehanort will stab Riku in the back through the chest right after Riku defeats the second-to-last of the 13 members of darkness.

Yen Sid, he will reveal his true identity as Disney, and unleash a power greater than Kingdom Hearts, causing his body to explode.

LoL I'm joking, no main characters will die except Xion, again...

Definately Hayner. Pence drops his ice cream off the clock tower, and Hayner bravely jumps to cushion the ice cream's fall. He dies for the thing he loves the most.
