Was playing KH2 today and saw this(View attachment). Not my picture but seifer says "Why don't you come back in 10 years?"

Call me crazy but I think nomura planned KH3 to come out 10 years after KH2. Just a theory don't hate :wacko:

i swear someone else made a claim about this exact same scene earlier in the year and just like i said back then nobody was hinting at anything

Well KH2 JP came out  Dec 22nd, 2005 and KH2 ENG came out March 28 2006. With the interviews I have read with Tai Yasue they are trying to get KH3 done fast (hopefully that doesn't mean they are rushing it) and to be honest it could be possible but they would have to go ham like Sakurai did with Super Smash Bros. Melee and have NO breaks all year and basically live in the development studio. But if this were to happen it would probably be by accident because I am sure they were not thinking anything of KH3 when KH2 came out. Then FFXV comes to mind.....ugh

I know how you feel man. Just about everybody on this site wants a Kingdom hearts 3 released date, but if this  is the release date for kingdom hearts 3, it would have been shown on this site's community index which is the home page of this site.I don't think that is hinting on any release date for kingdom hearts 3 in that quote.

It would be fun that (If kh3 comes out in 2015) that this would be bring up again.

Easter eggs like this pop up all the time in video games, and usually they are hinting towards their sequel. I think this was intended as a thing for KHIII.

Honestly, 2016 seems pretty likely, anyway.

I think it'd be a coincidence but if they're reminded of this scene they'll act like it was planned.  

Most likely a sort of reference to something from Final Fantasy 8

Dont think so. FFXV is going to come out first since its been in development for alot longer than KH3. More likely that FFXV will come out next year than KH3

You know, you may be on to something.  10 years, huh...so that means that this could be a hint for Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out in 2016!

And back then, the team who developed KH and KH2 thought they'd be developing KH3. Look, they're still developing FFXV.

But , yeah , it's been a long time since the development of KH II . SE had some huge plans at that time .

Man, this reminds me of the "hoenn confirmed" posts. 

Meh, the development teams couldn't had known by that time that they'd be stuck developing FF versus 13/15 for like 8 years

It does, But They've been writing it since 2010, and i think they're only saying its Early in development so FFXV came come out first, and they think its a good reason to delay Kingdom hearts, Just my perspective though..
