November 3, 20159 yr Popular Post Better question, why did he even trust an obvious villain? Terra only knew what Eraqus presented Xehanort as: An older, respected, and trusted friend. If anyone should've known better it was Eraqus. He knew what Xehanort was capable of and knew of his past debacles and evil plans to forge the Xblade. Terra did not. Better question, why didn't he just jump out of the way? Hahaha not fast enough. His character was the slowest

He knew what Xehanort was capable of and knew of his past debacles and evil plans to forge the Xblade. Terra did not.Yes, but it is highly unrealistic that an experienced keyblade master like Xehanort is in danger because of a random guy (Braig). Terra has never started thinking about it, insteas he loved it to be called "Master Terra". Uhhhh.
November 3, 20159 yr If Terra would have literally donned on the armor just before Xehanorts heart reached him...how badly would that have damaged Xehanorts scheme? It wouldn't have done jack shit because Terra was practically drowning in darkness by that point, too badly weakened by it to defend himself from Nort-possession.

Terra has never started thinking about it, insteas he loved it to be called "Master Terra". Uhhhh. Look at the world they lived in- where they never experienced evil/evil intentions yet and they trained in peace and tranquility. He had Braig putting on an evil show saying "look at me I'm evil" whereas Xehanort pretended to be good. He did not know how strong or powerful Braig was or wasn't. He knew nothing about him. Once again this mindset was backed up bc of Eraqus- a respected father figure. It's easy to see why Terra believed in him at first. We see it from the audience and outside perspective and Terra was seeing it from a personal perspective without the same info the audience was given. IMHO the only time Terra was really facepalm inducing was when MX was like 'Hey Terra lookie over there" and throws his heart into him.
November 4, 20159 yr Terra is too slow for dodging It's not that he's too slow, it's that the timing must be perfect. That and he was using the darkness in the battles before, which made him vulnerable. I think that even with the armor on, the darkness would've penetrated it and consumed Terra, an opening for the old Nort.
November 8, 20159 yr Maybe, but then again, even if the armor was on, would it have stood up to Xehanort's heart or allow it to go right through?
November 8, 20159 yr What if Terra had been one second faster...I wonder what would have happened? Would it have changed things? Or would it not have made a difference? Hmm, most intriguing indeed...
November 8, 20159 yr Wait, I thought Terra did get his armor on in time -- but it amounted to nothing, because his heart was already overtaken by darkness (however that happened. What, exactly, did Terra do wrong besides pal around with the Disney villains he wound up opposing in the end anyway?). And Terra couldn't just have dodged the heart because... it's a homing heart missile. Do not question Xehanort's methods.
November 8, 20159 yr Something else to consider: if Terra were two seconds slower during the fight, he would die, and Xehanort would have defeated himself. So either by being a bit faster, or a bit slower, he could have beaten Xehanort. Terra's biggest flaw seems to be that he was right on time.

I couldn't find any pictures of Nomura giving a troll-ish smile, so here's a Kojima instead... Edited November 8, 20159 yr by Kaweebo
