KH3 announced several years ago. Release date: unknown. Dark Souls 3 announced a few mouths ago. Release date: early 2016. ...... I fail to see the logic here.

Isamu Kuno repliedIt's also possible that, unlike KH, the entire Dark Souls series was planned at once, rather than game-by-game. And you can't really say which is better, the atmosphere, art style and I'm guess game play are completely different. Apples and oranges, as they say.

Do critical reviews matter to you and your enjoyment of the game? Because I can certainly say no review has ever changed my opinion of a game I disliked or liked.
PrinceNoctis repliedLets be real tho, KH3's development only really started this year. In 2010, they were developing KH3D at the same time so they probably spent little to no time on KH3 and they basically had to start over on Unreal Engine cuz Luminous wasn't working too good so of course Dark Souls games have been released faster than KH3...that's all I wanted to say
Emrys repliedThe opinions of people who write critical reviews for big name companies matter. They have pull and they state facts. Some of my favorite games are ones i found from reading reviews. As someone who has played both series i can say i enjoyed the souls games sound, design, plot, gameplay more.

That is something I admire with From Software over Square: They get right to the point and don't announce their games just as they are starting development. *CoughKH3cough* Seriously, even if it was in 2010 when development started, it's rendered irrelevant due to the Engine Change.

PrinceNoctis repliedI know right. Disappointing, but at least it shows that Nomura is more than capable to direct an HD game (some people stated otherwise because of FFXV). Honestly, I believe it's because the Luminous engine is hard to develop with.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be extremely ironic if Demyx is one of the 13? Take the laziest, most unfruitful guy in the Org., and make him a Darkness. Seems kinda funny, actually.

EU got the original Xenoblade on the Wii U eShop today. We might get it soon, too. Just thought you might like to know that.
Reyn repliedWUT, YEEEEEEEES! : D This is gonna be great. Now to just get $60 bucks on the wii u eshop...that's gonna be awhile. Luckily, once I get my capture card and wiimotes (hopefully by using all my B-day money), I can finally start saving money for myself for games and other stuff again since i'll have all my supplies.
Shulk replied$60? Unless you're planning on getting something else, you'll only need $20 for Xenoblade. Wii game prices on the Wii U are awesome.
Also, it's just a port. I've heard people suggest that it works with the Gamepad as a controller like some other re-releases on the Wii U, but I obviously can't confirm it.
I wouldn't be surprised if it does, though.Shulk repliedOff-topic, but figured I might as well tell you. I don't know if you were interested, but the demo for DBZ Extreme Butoden is on the eShop right now (I know I said it wasn't yesterday, but I think that Nintendo left it out of their eShop update report for this week). It's fun, and you can have Roshi's turtle as an assist character, so it's a good game in my books.

Having a backup on the Wii U would be nice, too, in case anything happens to my Wii copy (WHICH HOPEFULLY WILL NEVER HAPPEN).@Isaix Yeah, that's the way I see it, too. Both versions are great for their respective audiences, and I love having a version I can play on a big screen, as well as a version I can play on the go.
Shulk replied@Sapphire It was just announced today. It might only be in Europe, but I'm hoping it comes to other regions as well. It's the same deal as the Wii U eShop versions of other Wii games like Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, so it's pretty much just a port, although it might also be playable with the Gamepad.
