    One thing that a counselor taught me was to think of things as though they won't be that severe, or the end of the world. For instance, I feared "what if I fail at my exam?" The correct way to think would be "So *what* if I fail?" It means you wouldn't pass when you wanted to, but life will go on. The results won't cause death, but rather just severe disappointment.     Anyhow, I feel your pain and wish you all the very best. : ) My only advice would be to try not to look at things as a white and black standard, and also focus on the things that you do enjoy in life and attempt getting your mind off the stressors, at least for a while each day.     Drink some tea! Tea is very relaxful :) if you must have sugar in it, though, go for as calming as possable. I suggest chamomile.

    Mystic Apprentice: Thanks. :) The problem is though, that it's not things like school or work that stress me, but other people and relationships and such... but maybe it works quite similarly in the end. Like, of course I can't stop interacting with people, but I need to remember that if I'm just being myself and someone hates me for it, they're not worth my time.

     

    DawnStar: Yeah, tea really does help! :) Haven't tried chamomile though, thanks for the advice...

    You're welcome. Tea AND coffee seem to help me a lot when i'm stressed. I don't know if coffee would help you, though. I have adhd a bit so it actually relax's me. And helps me through dizzy spells that i get sometimes too.

    I drink both, but I think tea definitely helps me more when I need to calm down... I think coffee would only make it go worse for me since instead of relaxing it makes me more hyper. But glad to hear it helps you. :)

    You're quite welcome. That was probably a poor example on my part, but rather the first one that I could come up with. My issue was nothing school-related either, but problems pertaining to relations and work decisions. You have an excellent idea going for you there, and the best you can be is yourself. Not everyone is going to like us (how I wish!), so as long as you have *some* friends and you have a clear conscience that you're being a good person, that is the best you can...
