Posted June 30, 201312 yr I know that it gets a lot of hate but i there anything good that you like about it at least? Just wondering.
June 30, 201312 yr I actually thought the panel system was pretty cool and the story was nice I guess I just don't like actually playing the game
June 30, 201312 yr - Its Kingdom Hearts- Story- Gameplay- Its Kingdom Hearts- Xion- Cutscenes- One of my favorites games from DS- Its Kingdom Hearts- Graphics are good thinking of the power of the DS - Music Edited June 30, 201312 yr by Terranort9406
June 30, 201312 yr Take it from a guy who hated the majority of the game: Its few unique tracks are fantastic. Some of the dialogue was quite excellent. Roxas gets some pretty solid character development, if I remember right.
June 30, 201312 yr Learn about Roxas "Roxas, that's a stick" Xion... Dear god, XIONAlso the music. Her theme, Vector to the Heavens, Roxas, The Other Promise, At dusk I will think of you, just to name the ones off the top of my head.ESPECIALLY her theme.
June 30, 201312 yr Xion, Roxas and Axel. Another then that nothing. The game play annoyed me, the story line was great tho.
June 30, 201312 yr At the time it was great, now the DS game sucks. So glad we're getting a HD Theatre Edition.
June 30, 201312 yr I thought the Panel system was interesting. It added a certain amount of strategy to the game. I loved the story and the dialog was great. Xion. Yes, I liked Xion. When I first played it, I loved the "CGI" scenes in the game. I was pretty amazed to see something that looked that good on a DS screen. The music was good overall, and there were some really great tracks as well (*coughvectortotheheavenscough*) The gameplay wasn't the best in the series, but I was still able to enjoy it. The mission based structure didn't inherently annoy me, but I do wish there had been a bit more variety. Days was actually one of my favorites in the series. Make of that what you will, I s'pose.
June 30, 201312 yr Funny how you had to specify if we liked anything "GOOD" about the game, rather than just letting us say what we happened to like about the game. I liked the panel system but for many people, it's the exact reason they hated the gameplay. In that case, how do you even define "GOOD?" But to answer your question, mostly Roxas (assuming you, like me, considered him a "GOOD" aspect). I liked the relatively low-key plot--no grand adventures stopping a big bad from causing certain destruction (at least, not at the forefront of things), just a trio of friends learning about themselves and their place in life and actually being, y'know, a trio. Not even SRK have that honor, having a really unbalanced dynamic among them. I'm a sucker for character interactions and I don't even go out of my way to hate Xion, I'm rather lukewarm towards her. I'm also a sucker for customization, so the panel system was something I actually had fun with.
June 30, 201312 yr I know that it gets a lot of hate but i there anything good that you like about it at least? Just wondering. The story. The gameplay was good, i thought.
June 30, 201312 yr I actually really liked Days the first time I played it. Replaying it a couple years later and the game's flaws are more evident, but I still enjoy the game. For instance I like: -the story, though it drags in some places. -the worlds. I was stunned they were able to fit so much onto the DS cartridge. -the Panel system. Once I got used to it I found upgrading panels and crafting new sets to be a fun diversion, though I wouldn't want to see it in another game. -the controls...sort of. I mean, the controls were far from perfect, but I thought they made do well with the limited number of buttons on the DS.
June 30, 201312 yr Whelp the music was quite lovely, has good story, it's very emotional (well for me anyway), provides fun gameplay, and gave one heck of an ending boss battle/cutscene/moving moment. My view of Days in a nutshell ^^
June 30, 201312 yr (Considering how I didn't like how Roxas was portraid and Xion gets on my nerves.) Axel was really the only good thing about Days. I like how he dealt with the situation in a much more mature manner than the others. He had struggled with what he should do. Yet he didn't turn it into something that was angsty. June 30, 201312 yr Panels were awesome. Almost felt more like building a custom character. in some ways. Story was good, symbolic, had great depth considering it's KH, and it's one of the darker storys I wasn't a fan of the gameplay, mainly because I think it was a bad idea to try and use the Command Board system on a DS and it was a little clunky, but I can see why people liked it. Xion. People hate her, I love her, and they say if you got haters, you're doin' somethin' right. The keyblades. Oh, gods the Keyblades were good. And the ability to use Dual Wielding Roxas was cool too. Woulda been better if outside of the story in the Mission Mode they hadn't nerfed the power of the attacks, but still nice to have. Mission Mode Quest-esk things First game with Air Slide in it, which was cool. Bigger variates to enemy's(Although they basically re-skined a bunch of old enemy's, they each required a little bit of a different strategy to fight) Dodge Roll. Nuff said. Actually difficult bosses. Fighting with Riku. Finding out who the Black Haired girl in the pic Naminé drew shown on a wall in the mansion KH2 was. The prop weapons. Pretty strange puzzle areas. You could BUY Level Ups, which I found hilarious. Some pretty cool items At the time, you at some points had a party member, and their AI wasn't half bad.
June 30, 201312 yr KH 358/2 Days is my number one favorite side-story game in the Xehanort Saga. The gameplay was really good because of the panels. In my opinion the storyline was very emotional and pretty strong and I like character development of Roxas, Xion, and Axel. It really did show more on Organization 13 and the music was excellent. I still like till this day.
June 30, 201312 yr days is by far my favorite spinoff game. and even as i say 'spinoff' i feel that its a word too degrading for the game. even though the gameplay was a little stale at many points, i found it a better battle style for me to concentrate. not too many things were flashing everywhere in the screen, so i could block accurately and in that game i actually didn't install dodge roll for the entire game. i didn't like using it because i thought block was more efficient. the panel system was your own way of making your own character in a way. and it was fun that it was some sort of puzzle in itself and you were trying to make everything fit. (and i impressed all my buds cuz i was pressing so many buttons like a boss) and it was interesting putting in the ability links to try to form an all new weapon. zero gear was interesting. Xion was one of the highlights of the game. your point of view of her changes constantly as she does in the game...well at least mine did. and in the end i decided that i loved her second to Roxas. many people hate on her because 'she's a friggin mary sue' but i completely disagree. Nomura decided to put a person as the reason Roxas left Orgy 13 and that kind of made another trio for us to play around with and a lot more emotion to the plot. AND TO ALL U HATERS WHO HATE HER, JUST F OFF. the music. AWESOME. Its a kh game. so you all have to like it at least a little. it even rivals BBS in the FEELS Edited June 30, 201312 yr by khdayskh1314
July 6, 201312 yr I got to play as, Roxas..Because of that I enjoy the game. Haha, pretty much the only reason I wanted to play it. After that base was covered, everything else was icing on the cake. *rimshot*
July 6, 201312 yr Okay, seriously, I don't know why people hate this game so much. This game gets the same kind of hate treatment as Chain Of Memories, which saddens me, because I think that they are wonderful games. But, in conclusion, that's just my opinion, and even if I don't like the fact that some people hate this game, I have to respect their opinions. I for one think that Days is an awesome game, and I'm currently playing it again right now, and I love the story and character development, and the touching moments that Axel, Roxas and Xion have, and I like the panel system, since it provides a new layer of strategy, plus it's a long game, so it's awesome. The only thing I can complain about is that the game has few voiced cutscenes. Maybe this is one of the reasons why I'm looking forward to the Days scenes in 1.5 so much!
July 13, 201312 yr The Panel System was great! It had some pretty cool characters. I loved the all keyblades you could get. The ones in DDD are horrible! Playing as different Organization members was kinda cool, and even better in multiplayer. I liked the limit breaks. The plot was kinda important for the series.
July 15, 201312 yr I like 3582 Days much more than Birth by Sleep(inb4 angry BBS fanboys with torches trying to burn me alive) But in all seriousness, the best thing in 3582 Days was it's story Edited July 15, 201312 yr by Metal Snake
July 15, 201312 yr Days is a hit or miss title, some love it, some hate it. sure it could be repetitive but for me and for many people it stands high as one of the series finest entries. The story and gameplay were revolutionary, there was so much diversity in both characters and customisation. The playable characters in mission mode were pretty interesting too, especially for those who hadn't messed around with armax to play as them in kh 1/2 on ps2. The renditions of the music were high quality despite the systems limitations, even the visuals in the game were right up to the limits of the system it was on and looked fantastic withoout even the slightest lag, impressive in itself. The challenge mode was fun and aptly named, it was difficult and often a pain but the feeling of success when you 100% it was excellent. a combination of synthesis, missions, challenges, story, collectables and completionism make this game a 70-100 hour game that never feels boring.
I know that it gets a lot of hate but i there anything good that you like about it at least? Just wondering.
