You know what? Book 3 of Legend of Korra is not very good if I'm honest.

The last 10 minutes of this recent episode were awesome but that's cause of the Red Lotus doing what they do.. They really underused them. Made the whole season lack the sense of urgency Book 2 had.

I wanted the Book 1 feel back, so I was so happy they brought it back.
The last 10 minutes were PERFECT. It made the book 10x better for me. I have a feeling the Red Lotus is here to stay till the next Book, since there are only two episodes left I doubt they are going to put an end to them. Then again they can always beat them quickly but that'll just be lame and dull.

Situations just kept escalating, like the threat of civil war groting into an actual war where other nations are forced to intervene, harmonic convergence being just round the corner drawing closer and closer by the episode. Proper urgent. Made things tense. With Book 3, it I'm just like "OK, you do that thing you want with no real danger of anything happening soon. Maybe the Red Lotus will show up but eh they won't do much either"

Shana09 repliedBook 1 and the equalists had the same feeling, but I felt Book 2 went so far into the spiritual thing that it was too much. I was fine with it until the final battle, that was pretty lame. I mean, sure atm I felt it was kind of cool but like a day later I realized how stupid it was.
Shana09 repliedThe Red Lotus is a threat because they actually do the stuff they threaten to do. I mean by now, you should see that. Also, they aren't super bad bad people, they are back to that 'gray' area that Amon was also in. Like how they have good or neutral views but the method they use is terrible.
