What's your favorite Disney movie?

Posted

I'm surprised that in a Kingdom Hearts forum I've barely seen anybody making a thread like this one,but hey,I'm gonna make one regardless.

So,what's your favorite Disney movie???

I dunno about you,but I'm a huge HUUUUGE fanboy of Mulan

It's my favorite Disney movie of all time and one of my top 5 favorite movies overall

Everything in this movie fits perfectly with each other, the art style, the music, the story....everything is great ^_^

You have no idea how many times I rewatched this movie ever since I bought it's VHS almost 11 years ago

I rewatched this movie over 100 TIMES....I'm not kidding,I just love it that much

I love this movie sooo much, which is also a reason why I was disappointed by how The Land of Dragons was handled in KH2

I mean seriously, instead of the Soldier Heartlesses(that appeared later in the game) they gave Shanyu those little tiny heartless?? ..REALLY?????

I mean take a look at this

and compare it to the patheticness of this

Can you take Shanyu seriously with this mini heartless army ???

I mean come on Nomura, you've used ONE THOUSAND SOLDIER HEARTLESS in Hollow Bastion, couldn't you at least spare 100 of those for Mulan's world to make this scene as epic as it was in the movie???COME OOOON!!

My rant's aside,Mulan is a great movie and I recommend you to watch it especially if you're a fan of Disney like me

But ignore the sequel.the Sequel movie sucks

As surprising as it seems, my favourite is The Aristocats.

In my opinion, it has the perfect balance of humour, and a nice light story xD

No one has ever put this on the forum? Me and others ahve already post this type of question some tiems on the forum trough the years.

I love almost all of them. Really hard to choose.

Not including Pixar, I can't decide. I mean none stood out that good, but ironically some are on par with each other.

I would have to say The Lion King, Lilo, and Stitch.

That's a hard one but it's either Tarzan or The Lion King both means a lot to me

The Lion King is hands-down my absolute favorite.

The Pirates of the Caribbean films. :3 Also, Fantasia! :D

There was also this movie I loved as a kid called Pooh's Grand Adventure, The Search For Christopher Robin. But that's for kids, right?

I loved that movie too cause it was so different from the other Pooh movies and it developed the characters with new interesting personalities, and no it's not just for kids it's for everyone.

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite.

The movie that is not just a movie to me but part of my life is The Lion King! It is my favorite movie of all time and has been with me ever since I was born. When I was just a small child, I once made my mother watch the movie with me every day for an entire summer and not just one time a day but about two to three, it had that great of an effect on me. I don't think I have to explain why this movie is so great, as it teaches great lessons of life and how we are all connected! The Lion King is a masterpiece and always will be! :)

It'd have to be Hercules, I absolutely love that film! Then my second and third would have to be Aladdin and The King of Thieves and Frozen.  :D

Probably Aladdin because cocky thief characters are MY WEAKNESS. That, or Big Hero 6. Wreck-it Ralph is pretty great as well and I've always loved Hercules.

Tangled.

If we're going with straight Disney then:

Fantasia

Frozen

Disney's Dinosaur

101 Dalmations

Tarzan

Tangled

Wreck it Ralph

Lion King

Dumbo

Also I love Aladdin and am honoured that it was made the year I was born (though I did not actually  see it until 4 years ago when I started university)

Live action:

The Pirates of the Caribbean series

The National Treasure series

The Tron series (introduced to me through Kingdom Hearts no doubt)

Harry Potter series (they have aired on Disney networks and are like Disney to me)

Disney channel movies:

Now You See It…. (Have YOU seen it….?)

The HalloweenTown series

Pixar:

Literally ALL of them ("I am who I am because of them", but if I had to pick a top  favourite it would be Toy Story 2, the movie that got me into wanting to make movies and that officially introduced me to movie video games and shaped out the thematic elements of my entire life)

Marvel:

The Avengers movies

The Amazing Spider-man movies (they are Disney to me anyways as they feels like the MCU)

Winter Solider

The X-men movies (again not Disney but a disney owned property)

Lucasfilm:

N/A did not even like Star Wars/Indiana Jones/anything else from it before Disney bought it (even though it did originate Pixar). Actually, I did watch the IJs but did not really like them except for Crystal Skull

The Nightmare Before Christmas, followed by Hercules.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame, for sure.

Loathed the gargoyles in that movie, but everything else was spectacular.

Plus Hellfire.

That tops my list of Best Villain Songs.

I watch the Nightmare Before Christmas every Christmas, so I think that's my favourite.

After that, Wreck-It Ralph.

1.Has to be the Incredibles, I must have watched this movie about 20 times as a child. Even now I love the concept of family and how it's handled. The action scenes are thrilling and really exciting.

2. Lilo and Stitch-This is an incredible movie, so underrated, the concept of Stitch is fantastic and the movie is very heartfelt. The music is also impressive. I LOVE STITCH so much. The 2nd movie is also quite good.

The Lion King-This is a popular one, a lot of people grew up with this classic.

Big Hero 6- I hate how Frozen stole all the shine from this movie. Once again, the concept is indulging and the whole film is really dark, Baymax is a very lovable hero. The action is awesome too and it's different from most Disney movies.

Emperor's New Groove-Another underrated classic, it's just plain funny, I need to re-watch it again.

Chicken Little-I grew up with this movie so that's why it's on here. I loved the idea of a town with talking animals whilst I was a child. Also the emphasis on the father and son relationship between Chicken Little and his father is quite a mature topic.

The Jungle Book-The songs in this movie are so catchy and fun to listen to. Oh and I love the jungle setting too! The movie is just a timeless classic.

Wreck it Ralph-Same thing as BH6, stellar concept and the idea of a villain wanting to be a hero is so interesting to watch. The animation is awesome as well. Can't wait for the sequel!

The Recess movie was one I always use to watch as well! I love that show!!!!!

I'll edit this if I can think of anymore.

Good God, I really hate picking favorites...can't I say that my favorite Disney films are all of them? xD

Anyways though, even though I love all Disney films, I have to say that some of my favorites include The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Chicken Little, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Mulan, Tarzan, Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Emperor's New Groove, Meet The Robinsons and much, much more.

The reason why it's hard for me to pick just one favorite is in the fact that Disney always makes something in all their films to garner your affections, ya know?  Every movie has that special little spark to them!
