  1. Note: Please read the entire post before commenting. Thanks! (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here, and to view my "Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters Explained" post, click here.) In the 2.5 Re:coded secret ending, we see the Organization XIII members who were residents of Radiant Garden lying on the floor after being recompleted as people again. We also see Braig, who is not lying on the floor like the rest of them. He presumably woke up before them. (We know this 2.5 secret ending takes place after Re:coded and before Dream Drop Distance because Ienzo is an adult in this cutscene. There is a cutscene in the beginning of Dream Drop Distance that shows Even and Ienzo on the floor turning into Heartless/Nobodies and Ienzo is a little kid in that cutscene, so we know the 2.5 secret ending takes place after Re:coded because we know Ienzo grew up as an adult while he was a Nobody.) In Dream Drop Distance, we see Xigbar. It is implied that this is actually Braig, not Xigbar and he's just going by the name Xigbar for some reason (most likely because of the Recusant's Sigil in that name). If this is the same recompleted Braig that we saw in the 2.5 Re:coded secret ending, then how come he has long hair again, how come he has gray in his hair again? It would not make sense for him to just all of a sudden change appearance and grow hair that quickly. Is this actually Xigbar and not Braig, and they were just implying that it was Braig just to trick us? If it's Xigbar, then that can either mean that he was brought to the present day from time travel, or that can mean that Young Xehanort turned the recompleted Braig back into a Nobody for some reason (maybe he's stronger as a Nobody?). Also, do people keep their appearances that they had as Nobodies when they turn back into people, or are they reverted to how they looked before they were turned into Nobodies? This is very unclear. It seems that some parts of them did keep their appearance and some parts of them didn't for some reason. Ienzo, Lea, and Isa aged as Nobodies and kept their ages when they turned back into people. Lea lost the markings under his eyes when he became a person again though for some reason. From what we know, this is how it is: You are reverted back to how you looked before you became a Nobody, but you keep your age. For example, Lea was reverted to how he looked before he became a Nobody which is why he lost the markings under his eyes, but he still looks older because he kept his age. There are some people who think that the 2.5 Re:coded secret ending takes place way back in-between BBS and KH1, but that is simply not true as proved above. There are some people who think that the Xigbar in DDD is actually the recompleted Braig and the Braig in the 2.5 secret ending is the one who's a time traveler. That is simply not true. As stated above, it wouldn't make sense for the Xigbar in DDD to have long hair if he was actually Braig and it wouldn't make sense for the Braig in the 2.5 secret ending to be the time traveler because he's at the spot where he was just recompleted. So, this is what we know so far and is so far the absolute truth: The Braig in the 2.5 Re:coded secret ending is Braig after he was just recompleted as a person again. The Xigbar we see in Dream Drop Distance is either one of these two things: He's either a time traveling Xigbar that Young Xehanort brought to the present time, or he is the recompleted Braig that Young Xehanort turned back into a Nobody for some reason. It is currently unconfirmed which of these two things is the answer. If he is a time traveling Xigbar, then that means that Xigbar and Braig are both alive and in the present day at the same time. If Braig was turned back into Xigbar, then that means Xigbar is the only one who is alive and in the present day. We also know that when you are recompleted as a person again, you are reverted to how you looked before you became a Nobody, which is why Lea lost the markings under his eyes, and is why Dilan's hairstyle was reverted back to how it was before he became a Nobody, and is why Braig's hair turned shorter again and lost the gray in it. We also know though that you age as a Nobody and you keep your age that you grew to when you turn back into a person. I made this post to hopefully clear things up for some people because I have seen countless people who seem to be confused about this topic and who have been spreading false information. This was difficult to explain, so hopefully I explained it well and it makes sense. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. EDIT: It has been confirmed in Kingdom Hearts III that Braig, Isa, etc. were in fact turned back into Nobodies again after being recompleted in order to be more suitable vessels. Now that they have been destroyed once again though, they have all been recompleted once more. Except for Xigbar. He pretended to die during the Keyblade War in KH3, but he really just teleported away, and then shows up when the battle is over and reveals himself to be Luxu. So, he's still a Nobody currently.
  2. So, this is the second piece for my "Road to 2.8" series. I decided to paint it instead of doing line-art this time. Boy did this take a good while to do lol. (Rather frustrating too). This time we have Terranort and Venitas trying to look all cool and whatnot. I'm probably going to just keep this a once a month thing unless I just get overwhelming inspiration to do more . That means 3 more pieces to do before 2.8 releases. Now, I really do love to hear feedback, both good and bad. It helps me to improve, so please don't be shy to give me your thoughts! Also, I'm open to suggestions on what the November piece should be. It can be anyone or anything as long as it relates to 2.8! Hope you guys enjoy! Ps: Don't mind the logo. I was too lazy to draw out the full blown design, and I didn't want to copy and paste the original logo, so I just did that .

  4. Ventus could be a Dandelion Ventus could be the canon version of the player You know what I say to these now with the new trailer... Maybe not... I listened to Luxu's Voice and honestly I kept getting Jesse Vibes from it that or someone trying to sound like Jesse or Jesse trying to not sound too much like Roxas or Ventus. With this in mind and honestly how things seem to be playing out. 1.What if the reason Xehanort picked Ventus was because...Ventus was Luxu. 2.Luxu most likely went into The Realm of Sleep after or directly before the Keyblade War and was awoken by Xehanort with no memory of who he was. I primarily say this because while I know this is sorta meh thing. 1.The First signs of Xehanort and even his spreading are found in Ventus V.I.A. Vanitas (Braig came after I imagine) 2.Both Xehanort/Luxu/The Master of Masters Keyblade and Ventus's Keyblade share a trademark color of black 3.Because it's a Theory that might as well be discussed and is quite possible 4.Luxu seems to oddly enough care a lot about the Foretellers and seems frustrated with the events perhaps we've misjudged who he really is? Maybe his goals were different we won't know until we get the chance to watch Backcover. 5.And because of Hype. What are your ideas on this do you still think Ventus is a Dandelion or is he possibly Luxu himself.
  5. Every Spirit has a Doppelganger Nightmare counterpart, why would Riku be the exception to this rule? Replica Riku is Sora's nightmare. it makes even more sense considering Sora's concern of Riku being consumed by the darkness again and his negative experiences with Riku. Plus, Ansem-Riku is a Xehanort when you really think about it... even Vexen's Doppelganger. Riku Replica is literally a replica of Riku when he was Ansem-Riku. Xehanort could have recruited him as a Seeker of Darkness so that Riku Replica develops his identity beyond a "pathetic imitation".
  6. But wait, you wonder, "Pretty sure that Ventus has an established connection with Aqua and Terra right?" well, Sora has two trio's. The Destiny Island trio with Riku and Kairi and the Disney trio with Donald and Goofy. It's not out of the question for Ventus to be connected with more than one trio. Besides, we know little to nothing about Ventus past before he was in Eraqus' care. So, where am I trying to go with this? what's Ventus relevance to Kingdom Hearts X? well, I believe that he's a dandelion. Just like Ephemera and Skuld, he's not tied to a Union, however, I believe that Ventus had strong darkness habouring in his heart during the era of X. Bear with me with where I'm going... Now somehow, Xehanort eventually found Ventus and decided to train him under his wing not only because he was a person that lived during the era of the Keyblade War, but, he also had habouring darkness that had potential for Xehanort. Remember, when we play Birth by Sleep, Ventus is a being of light as Xehanort extracted all the darkness away from him to create Vanitas. How was Ventus truly like before this? He couldn't have been as much of a hero with a dark half (of what would be Vanitas) that's used to make his personality. It could also justify Xehanort's obsession with Ventus and linking him to the X-Blade.
  7. Haha...uh...kinda forgot I had an account here. haha....Uh sorry. =[ I forgot until today. There's this theory on tumblr and I was thinking "I wonder what others would think of it" which after a long train of thought brought me back here. haha Anyway it's a long read but it's a forum right? We're all here because we're bored or interested enough to read things. Original post/version: http://derekscorner.tumblr.com/post/148410623947/one-last-kingdom-hearts-theory-saving-terra --------------------------------------------------------- One last kingdom hearts theory -Saving Terra- Hoo boy….haven’t done this in a while. *chuckle* Tbh I’m not even sure why I am now…oh well how about one last Kingdom Hearts theory from an estranged fan. One last theory from a theorizer that’s lost his interest. If your reading I thank you, join me on one last ride before KH3 arrives and my final ties to the series is done. =) I’ve had lots of theories in the past, some ridiculous, some with a lot of effort, some fun to think about and some that people actually liked. However I this stage in the story many of them were disproven or partly proven or just ignored entirely as concepts dropped with a new story installment. But there’s one theory I think that still has wiggle room outside all the Chi craze going down right now. It’s a tricky matter with indications in several directions by the story but one with plausibility room. Yes let’s talk about the ill-fated topic of Terra’s heart. Yes yes I know it’s a topic that’s done to death. The same way almost every Xehanort topic possible has as well. However this is a topic that usually divides into three conclusions for people. 1) Terra is in Riku 2) Terra is a part of Xehanort, Ansem and Xemnas now a neoTerranort upon the old Nort’s revival 3) That his soul is in the lingering will armor Well first I’m gonna tell you right now #3 is total BS. Contrary to belief how life in Kingdom Hearts works is well defined and has been since 2005 with KH2. Described to us by Diz, Ansem the Wise, himself within the Secret Ansem’s Report almost no fans read. This is found in Secret Ansem Report 4. It’s the same in the original PS2 KH2 version and 2.5, there are no changes to this line. “Three elements combine to create a life: a heart, a soul, and a body. But what of the soul and body left behind when the heart is lost? When the soul leaves the body, its vessel, life gives way to death, but what about when the heart leaves? A being does not perish when its heart leaves its body. The heart alone disappears into the darkness.” Its brought up as he’s describing heartless. As anyone knows a heartless is born from a persons darkness, it has no heart of it’s own while feeding others as well keeping the heart it spawned from captive. Of course if a strong willed person loses their heart to darkness or the heartless their body becomes a nobody. However what allows this to happen is the fact that the body in question isn’t dead yet. The heart was ripped from the body, not the soul, because of this the body isn’t dead but at the same time it has no identity. No mind, no consciousness. It’s just a lump of living matter and so it fades away. It’s a common misconception that this process of losing a heart always creates a nobody which is false. The very cutscenes of KH2 itself repeatedly point out this only happens to those of strong will & heart. (the very first meeting of Sora & YenSid in KH2 point it out even) With the human-like nobodies of Organization 13 being of the utmost strong will allowing them to retain such an appearance and level of sentience. For a nobody to be born the heart must first be lost to darkness/heartless and for that hearts will to be so damn strong that it’s consciousness refuses to fade away entirely clinging to it’s discarded body. From there the body reforms in the realm between as a nobody. A being tormented by lack of feeling and a desire for the heart it’s lost. This is where the hole in the Lingering Will=Terra’s soul theory is poked. If the Lingering Will had Terra’s soul then the new body Xehanort had just stolen would’ve dropped over dead. Terranort would’ve died on the spot defeating the purpose of Xehanort possessing him. “But wait! What if Old Nort put his soul into Terra’s body! HA!” No no wrong. Remember Xehanort’s body is old, he fears it’s encroaching on death. If the soul is the bodies battery then he’s not gonna carry it over into Terra’s body. He wants new life, not to drag his nearly extinguished soul to a younger body. Xehanort is afraid of death. He doesn’t want his years of effort to be for naught. His body is old, for what he wants to do it won’t be enough. So using his powers as keyblade master he pulls out his heart and takes over Terra’s body as his older body fades away with a content smile. “Was my time drawing to an end, then, after all I had accomplished since casting away the place of my birth? Surely waiting for a quiet death would not do, not when there was still so much I needed to see for myself. Powers help me, I thought, my body is so old…” -Xehanort Report 8 BBS “But wouldn’t that make a no-“ Ah ah ah! Reread above. No that wouldn’t make a nobody. Old Nort transferred his heart, he didn’t become a heartless. That doesn’t happen until later when he’s Terranort-apprentice. However it should be worth noting that it’s possible “something” was left behind by this action. It’s an old interview but Nomura once said a “fixed sentiment” could’ve been left behind. But since that was years ago with no return to the topic I’d take his “fixed” comment with a grain of salt. Especially now that we’ve seen Xehanort returned to his original body in DDD. This time accompanied by 11 other bodies he’s possessed. Essentially ensuring his life is extended 12 times over, hoping Sora would be his 13th. “okay so the lingering will isn’t Terra’s soul. Then what is it and what does this have to do with Terra’s heart” Well that’s something I’m getting too. As you may have noticed I have disproven major theory #3 but I haven’t mentioned 1 or 2 yet. Well what if I told you rather than one of them being wrong or both that instead both are correct? “…wut?” Ah~ I love that reaction. It was my fave part of theories in the old days, outside discussion. Sadly the forums I know have devolved, such discussion is rare now. I digress. Anyway while this may seem highly illogical let me remind you of our main villain. The very one I mentioned above ^ The key to Xehanorts plan is ironically the very thing Sora says he “treats like bottles on a shelf”, his heart. His keyblade? Just a tool. Old friend Eraqus? A sacrifice. TAV? Stepping stones. His own heart? A means to an end. Xehanort’s entire scheme hinges on the fact that he manages to find a way to place his heart and very consciousness into 13 bodies. 13 Xehanorts, 13 seekers of the darkness, 13 beings with the same core controlling force. While honestly this is a topic of it’s own entirely it shows us something that is possible and likewise crucial to this theory. That the heart can exist in multiple bodies, places or states. Xehanort has demonstrated that the heart can literally be stretched in it’s consciousness over multiple bodies. “So your saying that Terra’s heart is in Riku and one of Xehanorts DDD vessels?” Yes, yes I am. A part of him is probably in the Lingering Will as well. Interviews state that the Lingering Will is simply Terra’s hatred and anger however in KH2FM it talks to Sora showing a level of human intelligence as well. However in the LW’s case I think it’s more akin to Vanitas’ Unversed. It’s a part of Terra but not exactly a full person. Just raw emotions going on a rampage in accordance to those emotions. Something I cover in greater detail in an older theory of mine seen here> http://derekscorner.tumblr.com/post/146414961392/old-lingering-will-theory After all if Vanitas can make literal monsters out of his negative feelz then why is it so hard to believe that Terra’s armor was animated the same way? The mind and the heart are linked, the mind is the hearts identifying consciousness. Xehanort demonstrates this with his vessels, especially Ansem&Xemnas who are just younger him (hims?), and Xemnas himself reaffirms the connection in DDD when he tells Sora: For us in the real world the mind is a product of our brain or so many believe. However in Kingdom Hearts the “mind” is a product of the heart. A sense of self formed from gaining experiences in the form of memories. Building blocks into forming who you are. This is also why memories are so important or how beings like Roxas can become a separate entity from Sora. It’s also how most nobodies are just reflections of their human self, because they normally have that humans memories. (except Roxas&Namine) “Okay I see. So when you see things like inner monologues or stations of waking what your seeing is a mind delving into it’s own heart.” Yes yes you got it! The “mind” is how the heart “views itself”. Like the mind is the hearts mirror. For Xehanort it’s essential he shatter this mirror so the heart has no consciousness to reject him. WHICH is why he goes through such lengths to make Sora and Terra fall to darkness. So for example when you see the Lingering Will attack Terranort and he exclaims “why does your mind resist!?” it’s because Terra’s heart is so full of hatred and rejection for Xehanort that it found any way it could fight against him. “Right right. But what about theory 1&2” Ohhhh I haven’t forgotten dear reader. I just like to have myself explained as thoroughly as possible. A way to try and help any would be theorizer and reader to understand to the fullest extent what I mean. Even if that sadly stretches my theories into long essays. Haha So here we have above a mountain of evidence that I mostly pulled from the very games themselves. Literally information you can see yourself in a game report or a cutscene. I recognize the stigma of the interviews ah la Nomura and so used evidence you can bluntly see on SE sanctioned game discs. What I have essentially shown you is that not only is the heart & mind are one but that these two can be stretched over multiple forms and even have “off shoots” like Unversed, Heartless or even living armor. This is a phantasy series and the heart a mystical concept beyond intended explanation. Anything is possible. “The heart is the mightiest weapon of all” right? So lets go back to points 1 and 2. Fans are divided on this notion. In Dream Drop Distance when the Norts gather Mickey lists off possible allies to which old Xehanort retorts: At first glance this would imply Terra who he’s already used as a vessel in Terranort as well as a means to spawn Ansem & Xemnas. It also points to Sora who he’s just captured and believes he’ll possess without question. *cue Axel’s troll moment* Due to this most fans automatically assume that after Ansem & Xemnas was destroyed all that mess of Xehanort (heart), Eraqus (heart), Terra, terra’s body and Terra’s soul kinda had a reset. Old Nort has his main body back but now also Terranort is also back albeit under the old ones thumb. However other fans have also found some compelling arguments to the contrary that Terra is perhaps in Riku’s heart the same way Ven’s is in Sora’s. “Now how does that even work? =/” Simple. You have to remember that at one point Ansem, Xehanorts heartless, Xehanorts very roaming heart as Young Xehanort put it, had possessed Riku’s body. For the time between Hollow bastion in KH1, through Chain of Memories, allllll the way till KH2 boss battle, Riku was host to Ansem or anything that remained of him. Whether it was truly Ansem or just a part of Xehanort left there is a thing of contention but what’s important here is that Ansem is the “walking heart”/heartless Xehanort created using Terra. Terra was in that mixture of Ansem & Xemnas. Exactly how that was divided was intentionally avoided each time someone asked Nomura and the games themselves don’t delve into said question. However while others would see this and think Terra is in one place or another I look at this and think “why can’t he be in both?” “Hmmm….well if Xehanort can have his heart in 13 places at once I don’t see why not BUT if Terra was there wouldn’t we see him? All we see is Riku struggling with Ansem in Chain of Memories and DDD.” Your correct. When it comes to Riku’s struggle with darkness it’s always represented by an “Ansem” he must conquer. However in each instance the “Ansem” Riku confronts acts differently. In Chain of Memories the inner Ansem we see is very much a Xehanort. It wants to take back control from Riku forcibly. Nearly does so several times. BUT the Ansem we see in Dream Drop Distance is different. It’s practically three different portrayals of him. For instance throughout Rikus early story in DDD he encounters Ansem&YoungXehanort. They haunt him with cryptic words then leave. Later on young Xehanort appears alone and points out they had hoped to make Riku the 13th vessel since he was one prior for Ansem. However it’s also because of that experience that Riku has become resistant to the darkness: To Xehanort that made Riku “no good”. Riku can manipulate and resist the darkness, he’s a unique being of his own making, and since Xehanort relies on the darkness to control his victims this makes Riku a wasted effort and so he settles for Sora. However even though Young Xehanort said they’ve given up on him Ansem appears to Riku again later. When he defeats the nightmare coat holding Sora he’s dragged into the darkness where he encounters another Ansem. This Ansem is very strange in comparison. He tries to get Riku to “accept” him. Repeatedly. He even mentions he can “save his friend” by doing so. Since when would Ansem say Riku can “save Sora” when he wants Sora for a vessel? He wants Riku to open up to him which is almost backwards to how he was in Chain of Memories. In CoM Ansem could take control forcibly, it was only Mickey’s assistance that spared Riku. Yet THIS time Ansem doesn’t. He instead appeals to Riku. This battle also oddly places call backs to Rikus meeting with Terra in Birth by Sleep. Such as Riku brining up “the strength to protect what matters” or the curious moment of the Guardian reaching out towards Riku as it fades away. Riku says the Ansem he’s facing here reminds him of “someone he made a promise too”. Leaving “Ansem” silent momentarily. He rejects this Ansem yet it’s Guardian still reaches out to Riku desperately. All this Terra allusion in one battle. Only for Riku to encounter Ansem again in the gathering of Norts. However the Ansem we see at the gathering is almost puppet like, moving at the command of the Old Nort’s smirk. He has no interest in Riku, he’s set on keeping Sora in their clutches like the other Norts. Almost as if the Ansems aren’t the same one. Just think about it Ansem appears in Riku’s dreamscape alone when before Ansem & Xemnas were always accompanied by young Xehanort? Something we know they all need as it’s the young Nort allowing these other Norts to travel. They NEED YX to be near by so they can appear as well yet in that battle Ansem appeared alone only to appear moments later in the gathering. “…..Okay…that…that’s honestly very suspicious when pointed out. It’s like there’s three Ansems at play. The one from CoM, the one being controlled in DDD and the one beckoning Riku in DDD” EXACTLY DEAR READER! On point! The personalities of these Ansems are conflicting. CoM and the DDD Ansem with young Nort are the same but the Ansem Riku meets in his boss battle is very odd with allusions to Terra sprinkled all over their fight. In essence we have the source of theory 1 & 2’s contention. There’s conflicting evidence. We know for a fact the body used to make Xemnas has to be among the Norts reformed alongside old Nort in his body however it’s thanks to Xehanort himself that we know a heart isn’t exactly limited to one form. It’s mind can be shared. Parts of ones heart can literally be placed in others and grow. Simply put DDD itself throws in our face that Terra is somehow in both places. A part of him being used as a puppet for Xehanort but also a part of him that reaches out to Riku as Ansem. “But why not just appear to Riku AS Terra?” A valid question but also one with several answers. Like for example, what if he simply can’t? Ansem was Xehanorts heartless but Terra was in the mixture. Perhaps he needs to be freed of his darkness for him to reobtain his true form. Something he reaches out to Riku for. Or perhaps it’s like an old theory I seen that he’s trying to keep Riku from making the same mistake he did and confronting him in ways. Or perhaps it’s simply that way so Nomura can troll and set up a “wait what!?” situation in KH3 when we go to find Terra for saving. “Hm…not a bad point. Not exactly solid but it works. So your theory is that Terra is in two- three places?” Yes and no. I do think a part of Terra is in Riku, another in his armor and one being used as a Nort but I think what is important is the part of Terra in Riku. (the biggest proof being how the LW has Terra’s hatred yet we see Terra & old Nort in Blank points arguing over their body) In KH3 we’re supposed to save the lost wielders. Ven, Aqua, Xion, Roxas, Namine, and Terra. All that have disappeared in one way or another. While Ven is as easy as putting his heart back and Aqua as easy as finding her on the shore line the others are more complicated. Terra’s body is being used as a Nort. Xehanort and really Nomura himself needs 13 Xehanorts for his final battle. Meaning if they saved Terra’s norted body Xehanort would be down one vessel. Likewise the beings of Roxas, Xion and Namine has no bodies. Xion was a puppet that was destroyed, Namine was literally made from nothing and Roxas merged back into Sora. We know they’re gonna be saved but we also know it’s a lot more complex to bring them back. Their hearts are there and can be reached but they have no bodies to reside in. I’m not sure what the plan is there, perhaps some KH science, Disney magic or some dues ex machina like when Kairi hugged Sora back into a human. Just think about it. When Roxas and Namnie was born it was because Sora’s heart and Kairi’s left his body at the same time. Normally Kairi couldn’t make a nobody, she has no darkness- “Right so she can’t make a heartless!” -Exactly. Kairi can’t make a heartless so she can’t form a nobody. Meaning Sora was the key component that let it happen. However the hitch there is a nobody by definition is a strong hearted person’s body reformed into another creature. The body of the original person is needed for a nobody to be born. However only Sora’s body was in the equation yet three people came out of it. Namine, Roxas and Sora turned from heartless to human again. We know Namine didn’t have a body and just sorta “spoofed” into being but the fact remains that Sora’s original body was being used by himself or by Roxas. What this means is it’s possible for a body to be made. If Namine can be made from nothing then perhaps the data Riku got from Diz at the end of DDD is key to giving others bodies. Granted it’s not simple to make one otherwise I imagine Xehanort would’ve just grew 13 bodies for himself. Meaning it’s likely a one time “miracle” moment but in some shape or form Xion, Roxas and Namine will be given new vessels. “Ahh I see! So you’re saying that if those three can get new bodies then what’s to stop them from using the same process to give the Terra within Riku form!” YOU GOT IT! They may not need to save Terra’s old body Xehanort stole. Perhaps all they need to is simply give from to Terra’s heart that’s rested itself within Riku’s being. It’s not that both the theories of Terra’s heart are wrong it’s that they both are RIGHT! All he needs is whatever dues ex machina plot device they use on Roxas, Namine & Xion and bring him back! BAM! Now you have a reason for 13 Norts and all the heroes so far being arond to fight in KH3!

    Crossed Hearts

I originally drew these as separate images but I decided to add them to the same frame. (Sadly, this explains the different line thicknesses and I'm sorry it's hard to unsee once you notice it.) You can find a larger size in my Tumblr post! Please do not reupload this anywhere. It is for personal, offline use only! However, it is okay to crop it for use in avatars and forum signatures.

  10. This thought snapped my synapses. Think about it... Master Luxu wanted to move into the future, Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort are in a future in which they can see Master Luxu's Keyblade, and most importantly, the mantle that holds Master Luxu's Keyblade is in X Back Cover promotional material. Coincidence? I think not.
  11. In this post, I will make a complete list of every single currently unanswered question in the Kingdom Hearts series and universe. Please comment down below all unanswered questions / "plot holes" you can think of and I will add them to this list. Hopefully we can fill it out together and create a truly complete list. Hopefully they answer most if not all of these in Kingdom Hearts III or any future interviews. Complete List of Unanswered Questions Why are there globes and maps of Earth and real world locations in some worlds? Are some worlds just alternate reality-type Earths that exist simultaneously but separately? Or did all the worlds used to be Earth when they were all together in one massive World in the Age of Fairy Tales, and the globes and maps are just artifacts of history? In the first Kingdom Hearts, how did Mickey know about Sora and Riku, and how did he know that they got a Keyblade? Yen Sid has the ability to sort of sense things and people in other realms and worlds, so did Yen Sid tell Mickey about them? In the first Kingdom Hearts, why does Winnie the Pooh's letter to Rabbit have "Mickey Mouse" written on the front with a crown symbol? Also, if you come back later, it'll instead be a letter from Roo. This letter also has "Mickey Mouse" written on the front with a crown symbol. Why is that? In the first Kingdom Hearts, Genie says he's heard about a Keyhole before 200 years ago, and implies that he used to know its location. Why does he know about the Keyhole and how did he know its location? Some residents of Halloween Town, such as Jack, The Mayor, Dr. Finkelstein, etc. all know about the Heartless because Jack found a book about the Heartless. Who wrote this book full of research notes? Why didn't Maleficent getting stabbed with the Keyblade of Heart cause her to turn into a Heartless? Why did she turn into her Dragon form instead? The Keyblade of Heart has the ability to "unlock people's hearts," which sounds like the same thing that any Keyblade can do if you're on the level of a Keyblade Master, so it can be assumed that the unique ability of the Keyblade of Heart is that it allows you to do that without being on the level of a Keyblade Master. But, is it possible that "unlocking people's hearts" is actually different? Could "unlocking people's hearts" mean something different for each person who gets stabbed by it? Such as Sora turning into a Heartless, and Maleficent turning into her Dragon form? Or is it that Maleficent is just different than most people and follows different laws of nature? In the first Kingdom Hearts, Xehanort's Heartless possessed Riku, which sort of kicked Riku's heart out of his body and sent it to the Realm of Darkness. Why didn't this create a Heartless and a Nobody? Was it because the heart wasn't either extracted by a Keyblade or succumb to the darkness? Does this mean it's possible somehow for a heart to leave a body without becoming a Heartless? When a Heartless is destroyed by a Keyblade, whether it be an Emblem Heartless or a Pureblood Heartless, a heart is released from it and the original person is recompleted. (For the Pureblood Heartless, the heart isn't visibly released, but it's still released.) If someone has a Nobody too, you have to destroy that as well in order to get their original self to be recompleted. If a Heartless is destroyed by something other than a Keyblade, then the released heart will end up just eventually turning back into a Heartless. So, when Ansem, Seeker of Darkness was destroyed by the light from his artificial Kingdom Hearts (and Xemnas was destroyed later), why did Xehanort get recompleted? He shouldn't have gotten recompleted since his Heartless wasn't destroyed by a Keyblade, it was destroyed by the light from his artificial Kingdom Hearts. Does getting destroyed by Kingdom Hearts count as getting destroyed by a Keyblade for some reason, or have the same effect as getting destroyed by a Keyblade or something? What was written on the letter that Pluto was holding at the end of the first Kingdom Hearts and in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories? It's obviously not the same one from the end of Kingdom Hearts II since Mickey wrote that at the end of Kingdom Hearts coded. At the end of the first Kingdom Hearts, how did Donald and Goofy's clothes change when they got to the grassy area outside of Castle Oblivion? Also, how did their clothes change while they are in Castle Oblivion in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories back to the clothes they had on before? In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, when referring to Maleficent, Vexen says "Don't be absurd. The witch is gone. She cannot return from the Realm of Darkness of her own volition." This means that after Sora destroyed Maleficent in the first Kingdom Hearts, she got sent to the Realm of Darkness. Why is this? Why did Maleficent get sent to the Realm of Darkness instead of just simply dying? Or did she just simply escape after the battle with Sora to the Realm of Darkness using a Corridor of Darkness? Also, why did she have to wait for someone (the three fairies) to remember her in order to come back when she could've just used a Corridor of Darkness to get out? Why can she not escape of her own volition? When Ansem the Wise was banished to the Realm of Darkness by Apprentice Xehanort, he was able to use Corridors of Darkness to get out, so why couldn't Maleficent have done that? Why did Marluxia and Larxene want to overthrow Organization XIII? In Secret Ansem's Report 12, it says "First I shall convert all of Twilight Town into data and construct a "world duplicate" in Sora's memories. I shall place Roxas within that world to live out his days and regain those memories." If the simulated Twilight Town that Roxas was placed into is located inside of Sora's memories, then how was Sora able to go inside of the simulated Twilight Town by accessing the machine in the basement of the Old Mansion in Twilight Town near the end of Kingdom Hearts II? Is there multiple copies of the simulated Twilight Town, and just one of them is located inside Sora's memories? Or were Sora's memories just hooked up to the simulated Twilight Town before or something? Or is the machine in the basement of the Old Mansion just simply able to access Sora's memories and by going into the simulated Twilight Town, Sora was within his own memories? Why did the guards in Land of Dragons turn into Emblem Heartless (Nightwalkers)? If they were succumbing to the darkness, then they should've turned into Pureblood Heartless. Were they just Nightwalkers disguised as guards or something? How did the Ghosts of Scar form together to create an Emblem Heartless (Groundshaker)? Shouldn't they have created a Pureblood Heartless if anything? Did they just form together with a Living Bone and Shaman Heartless or something? How did Stitch get to Hollow Bastion? Why did Axel and Saïx want to find the Chamber of Waking? Why did Axel and Saïx want to overthrow Organization XIII? How did Saïx get his scar? What are the names and identities of Larxene, Demyx, and Luxord's original human forms? Why hasn't Xemnas wielded a Keyblade? (Assuming he has the ability to). If he doesn't have the ability to wield a Keyblade, then why? How did Ansem the Wise's machine exploding turn Riku back to normal and how did it transport Ansem the Wise to the Realm of Darkness? Why did Naminé return to Kairi, when she's made out of Sora's body and soul? Shouldn't she have returned to Sora instead? Did she have some of Kairi's memories that needed to return to her, the same way Roxas had some of Sora's memories that needed to return to him? If not, then why did Naminé even need to return to anybody? Why does Apprentice Xehanort have brown eyes instead of yellow? Why does Xemnas and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness have orange eyes instead of yellow? Why does Riku not have yellow eyes in the first Kingdom Hearts when Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is possessing him? How did Sora and Riku get from the place where they fought the final fight against Xemnas in Kingdom Hearts II to the Dark Margin in the Realm of Darkness? How did Kairi's message in a bottle end up at the Dark Margin? "End of Sea" is the name of a world that's half in the Realm of Darkness and half in the Realm Between. Dark Margin is a location at the very tip of this world. It's on the Realm of Darkness half of the world. The ocean that we see there acts as a border between the Realm of Darkness and the Realm Between. How are there worlds in the Realm of Darkness still? They should've all returned to the Realm of Light after Sora sealed the Door to Darkness and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness' artificial Kingdom Hearts broke apart. Does this mean there are worlds native to the Realm of Darkness that have always never had a heart? Or is End of Sea just a world from the Realm Between that's so close to the edge of the Realm Between that it's also touching the Realm of Darkness? Also, how is there a world that's half in one realm and half in another realm in the first place when the realms aren't physically connected? How did Mickey's message in a bottle get to Sora on Destiny Islands? Tetsuya Nomura has stated that Ventus' heart stayed within Sora's body AKA his Nobody, Roxas when Sora was separated from his body and soul and became a Heartless. What is the reason for this? Why didn't it get released along with the other hearts? How did Ventus become so tiny when he went to Castle of Dreams? Tetsuya Nomura said it was because he somehow messed up traveling to the world and ended up tiny, but how does that even happen? How does you not knowing how to properly travel to worlds make you end up very small? I assume that we just simply don't completely know how physics and stuff works in the Kingdom Hearts universe, but it'd be nice to get a specific answer to this question. How is the ship in Deep Space able to access the Lanes Between without a Keyblade or Corridors of Darkness? Or does this mean that somebody aboard the ship has a Keyblade or the ability to use Corridors of Darkness? Where did Vanitas obtain his Keyblade? He can wield a Keyblade because his heart is half of Ventus' heart, but where did he obtain his Keyblade, Void Gear? Did Xehanort Bequeath him? Or does he wield Wayward Wind, except with a Void Gear Keychain on it? If the Unversed are created by Vanitas and come from Vanitas, then how was Lady Tremaine able to turn the coach into an Unversed and how was The Queen able to turn the Spirit of the Magic Mirror into an Unversed? Why did Lea and Isa go into Ansem the Wise's castle in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and why did they get kicked out? How did Ventus and Aqua end up in the Lanes Between after their battles at the Keyblade Graveyard? How did Terra-Xehanort end up at Radiant Garden after the explosion from the χ-blade? Did Terra-Xehanort/Apprentice Xehanort actually have amnesia or was he just faking it? When Terra-Xehanort split himself up into a Heartless and a Nobody, why weren't two Nobodies created? When Sora became a Heartless, his own heart and Kairi's heart released from his body. This created Roxas and Naminé. When Terra-Xehanort became a Heartless, the same thing should've happened. Terra's heart and Xehanort's heart were released from Terra's body. This should've created a Terra Nobody and a Xehanort Nobody, but instead, Xemnas was created; someone who is a mixture of both Terra and Xehanort. Why? How did Young Xehanort leave Destiny Islands and get to Land of Departure? When we see Young Xehanort in the past on Destiny Islands and in the present-day during Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, he doesn't have pointy ears like he does when he's older. Why is this? And when we see Young Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts III, he does have pointy ears. Why is that? Why does Xehanort's Keyblade Armor have the Nobody emblem on it? How did Riku obtain his second Keyblade (Way to the Dawn) after Sora took his first one (Kingdom Key)? Getting Bequeathed causes a Keyblade to choose you, so when Sora took his Keyblade, did another Keyblade choose him? Is that what happens if you lose your Keyblade somehow? Another one will choose you? The Master of Masters forged and tempered Keyblades by pulling them out of the depths of hearts. And ever since then, if you are Bequeathed, a Keyblade will choose you. If all Keyblades already exist somewhere out there and were created long ago, then how come some people's Keyblades resemble them or their character/personality? For example, Lea's Keyblade resembles one of his Eternal Flames Chakrams with fire coming out of it and Riku's Keyblade resembles his Soul Eater sword. Is this just simply because these people are destined to wield these Keyblades or something? Where did Riku get the Keyblade he gave to Kairi (Destiny's Embrace)? And why did he even have to give her a Keyblade in the first place since one should've already chosen her since she was Bequeathed? Doesn't this mean she has two Keyblades now: the one that chose her from her being Bequeathed and the one Riku gave her, Destiny's Embrace? Who Bequeathed Lea? What's the name of Lea's Keyblade? Why does the Kingdom Key look exactly like the two blades that are a part of the χ-blade? It was stated that the pieces of light of the χ-blade were split into seven pieces to protect the number of pure hearts in the world. This is referring to the Seven Princesses of Heart. The Seven Princesses of Heart didn't exist way back in the Age of Fairy Tales though, so how did the χ-blade know that they were going to be born in the future? And in what way are the seven pieces of light protecting the Seven Princesses of Heart? While Aqua was carrying Ventus' comatose body, his Keyblade raised and opened a door that led them to the Land of Departure. This door was not a method of travel that we've ever seen or heard about before. It wasn't one of the portals they've been opening with their Keyblades, it wasn't a Gate, and it wasn't a Corridor of Darkness. It looked pretty much exactly like the Door to Light from the end of Kingdom Hearts II. So, what was this door? Was it the Door to Light? And how was Ventus able to open it? At the end of the first Kingdom Hearts, Sora, and Donald, and Goofy were standing on a piece of land at End of the World. End of the World was a world located in the Realm of Light that's made up of chunks of worlds that fell to darkness. When a world is falling to darkness/falling to the Realm of Darkness, some chunks of the world might stay behind in the Realm of Light. These chunks formed together to create End of the World. Once Sora and Mickey sealed the Door to Darkness, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness' artificial Kingdom Hearts broke apart and the hearts returned to the worlds, and they were restored. They left the Realm of Darkness and went back to the Realm of Light. The chunks that made up End of the World also went back to the Realm of Light. The chunk of land that Sora, Donald, and Goofy were on was a part of the Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion world. So, when the worlds were restored, they got sent to the recompleted Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion world since they were standing on that chunk of land. But, this means that the Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion world fell to darkness sometime in the past. So, what happened to Ventus' body when this happened? Was it also sent to the Realm of Darkness with the world, and was safe from the darkness/Heartless, because he was in the Chamber of Waking? And does this mean that his body was sent back to the Realm Between with the world when it was restored? Why did Mickey not recognize the name "Xehanort" when he met Apprentice Xehanort? Is that just a common name in the Kingdom Hearts universe? What exactly is a "mind?" And how is it different from the "soul?" Is it even different from the soul or are they the same thing? Braig says he has his hands full with his own plans. What are these plans? In the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded "Destiny" secret ending, we see the Organization XIII members who were residents of Radiant Garden lying on the floor after being recompleted as complete people again. We also see Braig, who is not lying on the floor like the rest of them. He presumably woke up before them. (We know this Kingdom Hearts Re:coded secret ending takes place after Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and before Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance because Ienzo is an adult in this cutscene. There is a cutscene at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance that shows Even and Ienzo on the floor turning into Heartless/Nobodies and Ienzo is a little kid in that cutscene, so we know the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded "Destiny" secret ending takes place after Kingdom Hearts Re:coded because we know Ienzo grew up as an adult while he was a Nobody.) In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, we see Xigbar. It is thought that this is actually Braig, not Xigbar and he's just going by the name "Xigbar" for some reason (most likely because of the Recusant's Sigil in that name). If this is the same recompleted Braig that we saw in the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded "Destiny" secret ending, then how come he has long hair again and how come he has gray in his hair again? It would not make sense for him to just all of a sudden change appearance and grow hair that quickly. Is this actually Xigbar and not Braig? If it's Xigbar, then that can either mean that he was brought to the present day from time travel, or that can mean that Young Xehanort turned the recompleted Braig back into a Nobody for some reason (maybe to be a more suitable vessel?). And is this the same case for Saïx? Was he turned back into a Nobody or was he brought back using time travel? Or it's possible that he's the recompleted Isa since his recompleted human form has no visible differences than his Nobody, unlike Braig and Xigbar. Speaking of which, do people keep their appearances that they had as Nobodies when they turn back into people, or are they reverted to how they looked before they were turned into Nobodies? This is very unclear. It seems that some parts of them did keep their appearance and some parts of them didn't for some reason. Ienzo, Lea, and Isa aged as Nobodies and kept their ages when they turned back into people. Lea lost the markings under his eyes when he became a person again though for some reason. From what we know, this is how it is: You are reverted back to how you looked before you became a Nobody, but you keep your age. For example, Lea was reverted to how he looked before he became a Nobody which is why he lost the markings under his eyes, but he still looks older because he kept his age. Why did Lea and Isa get recompleted with their black coats on? Does that mean they were the only ones who were wearing black coats before they became Nobodies? Ienzo seems to have known this whole time that the original person can get recompleted if their Heartless and Nobody is destroyed, so when he was Zexion, why did he act like he didn't know? It has been confirmed that Axel, Roxas, Xion, and Naminé all grew hearts. As seen with Roxas, if your Nobody grows a heart and recombines with your other pieces to recreate the original person, the heart that the Nobody grew will be trapped inside of you. Since Axel grew a heart of his own and has been recompleted, does this mean that Lea now has two hearts: his original heart and the heart his Nobody grew? Or did the heart that his Nobody grew combine with his original heart? If so, then why didn't Roxas' heart combine with Sora's? Would it be because Roxas had a completely separate personality and memories than Sora, while Axel had the same personality and memories as Lea? Tetsuya Nomura said that Nobodies don't age, but Axel, Saïx, and Zexion all clearly aged. Maybe you need a heart to age, and since Axel grew a heart, he didn't count as a regular Nobody so he aged? Does this mean Saïx and Zexion grew hearts as well? Do you need a heart to age? Where is Terra's heart and body? Is Xehanort still possessing it, but just making it look like his old man form, like how Ansem, Seeker of Darkness in the first Kingdom Hearts was still possessing Riku's body, but making it look like himself? What's the situation with Eraqus being inside of Terra's heart? After Terra-Xehanort split into a Heartless and Nobody, what happened with Eraqus' heart, and where is Eraqus' heart now? Why can't Sleeping Worlds dream about Heartless? All the "realm of sleep" is, is dreams. It can be dreams of people or dreams of worlds that have fallen to darkness/fallen to the Realm of Darkness, since worlds that fall to darkness, also fall to sleep, and they dream. So, since people can dream about Heartless and have them appear in the realm of sleep, then why can't worlds do the same? Heartless can be created in the realm of sleep by someone dreaming about a Heartless in their dream, but Heartless can't enter the realm of sleep from the outside world. If Heartless can't enter the realm of sleep, then how was Ansem, Seeker of Darkness able to enter the realm of sleep? Is it because he's not just a Heartless, he's a Heartless possessing a body (Riku's body form the first Kingdom Hearts)? Does him having a body allow him to enter the realm of sleep? Also, why can't Heartless enter the realm of sleep in the first place? Why can't they just use Corridors of Darkness to enter? Young Xehanort, and the other Seekers of Darkness, follow Sora and Riku into the realm of sleep. They use that as an entrance. But, I'm still pretty sure that Corridors of Darkness can get you into the realm of sleep since they were all using Corridors of Darkness while in the realm of sleep. That's also presumably how they got out of the realm of sleep when they were done putting Sora into that weird sleep coma. Presumably. So, yeah, why can't Heartless use Corridors of Darkness to enter the realm of sleep? Who are all of the Seven Guardians of Light? Who are all of the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness? Why did the time traveling members of the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness have to go back to their own time? And how are they going to come back? The Kingdom Hearts Ultimania states that Xehanort's heart being in thirteen vessels serves as raw material for the χ-blade. Why is this? Xehanort's heart isn't pure darkness, so how does him putting his heart into thirteen vessels work for creating the χ-blade? What was the Riku that Riku saw in Monstro in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance? Was it the dream world projecting an image of Riku from the first Kingdom Hearts? Putting Riku "back in his place," like it did to Jiminy in Sora's side of Prankster's Paradise? If so, then why is he wearing a black coat? Riku wasn't wearing a black coat in the first Kingdom Hearts, and the worlds only dream about their pasts, so this wouldn't make sense. Is it a Seeker of Darkness? If that Riku is a Seeker of Darkness, is it Riku Replica? If it's Riku Replica, then why did Riku say "That was my... my dark side. I gave into the darkness once, and ever since, it's chased be around in one form or another. The seeker of darkness who stole my body, a puppet replica of the shadows in my heart, and now, I'm facing me."? He lists the versions of his darkness that have chased him around in one form or another. He lists Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Riku Replica, and then says that now, he's facing himself. That implies that it's not Riku Replica. So, it's not Riku Replica, right? Unless Riku's just assuming it's not Riku Replica. If it's just himself (Riku) that he was facing, then was it when he was a villain in the first Kingdom Hearts that's time traveled to present-day to be a Seeker of Darkness? If it's Riku Replica or himself from the first game time traveled to present-day to be a Seeker of Darkness, then how come Young Xehanort isn't there with him? Tetsuya Nomura has stated that Young Xehanort functioned as a "portal" that summoned the Xemnas and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. Wouldn't it be the same for Riku Replica/Riku from the first game and any other time traveling Seekers of Darkness? If not, then why? How are we going to save Ventus, Terra, Roxas, Xion, and Naminé? What is the Key to Return Hearts? In the Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance secret ending, Goofy says that Lea hurried back to Radiant Garden. Why did he hurry back to Radiant Garden? It was shown that the "illusion" of Terra we see in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- was there because of Naminé's help. This took place right after Sora went into the pod to restore his memory, so why/how did Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- end with how the first Kingdom Hearts game ended? How does that make any sense timeline wise? Why did the illusion of Ventus we see in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- have a black and white checkered design on the back of his jacket rather than the half black half white design the back of his jacket usually has? If the dark counterpart of Keyblades of Light (Keyblades of Darkness) are found on the dark side of the world the Keyblade of Light was gained at, then does that mean Keyblades of Darkness are only created when a world that a Keyblade of Light was gained at falls to darkness? Or are Keyblade of Darkness counterparts to Keyblades of Light created in the Realm of Darkness right when a Keyblade of Light is gained, but just teleports to the world the Keyblade of Light was gained at when it falls to darkness? How did Aqua and Mickey end up at the Realm of Darkness area that was behind the Door to Darkness? There was just a flash of light and then they got teleported there. What was that flash of light from and how did they get teleported there? Was it the flash of light that came out of the Door to Darkness when Sora said "Kingdom Hearts is light" in the first Kingdom Hearts? How did Mickey get his shirt back in time for Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories after it got destroyed by the Demon Tide? How long ago does Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] take place? We know that the Age of Fairy Tales takes place "more than a hundred years before Sora received the Keyblade," but "more than a hundred years" is a very vague number. What is the name and identity of The Master of Masters? What were the Foretellers' and Luxu's original names before The Master of Masters gave them new names and what do their faces look like? What are the names of all of the Foretellers' Keyblades? Who is Xehanort and Eraqus' master? Is it Luxu, or was there another generation in-between them and Luxu, or even more? Also, was this Yen Sid's master as well, or did he have a different master? If so, then who was Yen Sid's master? What's in the black box that The Master of Masters gave to Luxu, and why isn't Luxu allowed to open it? How was The Master of Masters able to see the future with the Gazing Eye when it wasn't even passed down yet? Wouldn't that just be him looking into the present since he has to wait until it's passed down? Why did The Master of Masters disappear? How do the Dandelions survive the darkness that covers the World after the Keyblade War? How does Luxu survive the darkness that covers the World after the Keyblade War? If The Master of Masters only put his one eye on one Keyblade, then how are there so many eyes on so many Keyblades in the future? Who Bequeathed Ventus, the Player, Ephemer, Skuld, Brain, and all of the other Keyblade wielders from the Age of Fairy Tales? How did Ventus and Lauriam get from the Age of Fairy Tales to the time period of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. How was present-day Maleficent there in the Unchained realm during the Age of Fairy Tales during the Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] secret ending? How did the light from children's hearts recreate the World? Do children's hearts just simply have the ability to create an entire universe? Or was Kairi's Grandma just being vague in her story? If so, then what really happened? End Notes & Updates If you'd like to know more about the Braig/Xigbar situation talked about above, check out my explanation on the whole situation here. Please give me unanswered questions. 13. This is just a minor theory I thought of and have not put too much thought into yet, but I thought I should share it. As we now know, each of the 5 Foretellers are named after 5 of the 7 Deadly Sins. Master Invi, of the Anguis Union, is named after the word "Invidia" which means envy. Master Gula, of the Leopardos Union, is named after the word "Gulam" which means gluttony. Master Ira, of the Unicornis Union, is named after the word "Ira" which means wrath. Master Aced, of the Ursus Union, is named after the word "Acedia" which means sloth. Master Ava, of the Vulpes Union, is named after the word "Avarice" which means greed. There are two 7 Deadly Sins missing here. Pride and lust. My theory is that the 6th Foreteller and the Master of Masters are named after these two Deadly Sins. Which one is named after each Deadly Sin? I'm not too sure. On a side note, it is very obvious that Xehanort's Keyblade fits right in with the Foretellers' Keyblades. And from the E3 KH3 trailer, we can tell that Xehanort's Keyblade most likely didn't belong to him originally as we see it hung up on a wall. I think it's very possible that his Keyblade originally belonged to Xehanort and Eraqus' master. Could this mean that Xehanort and Eraqus' master was related or somehow connected to the 6th Foreteller that we currently know little about? Who knows. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?
  14. https://youtu.be/jM4pVQlMLM0 I made a final battle theme that I thought could match at least one of many forms I'm sure Xehanort will have in KH3. I made sure to implement the choir as I thought it would match the mood. Just wanted to share

Master Xehanort Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Xemnas Young Xehanort Xigbar (Wields Unicornis Keyblade) Saix (Wields Anguis Keyblade) Luxord (Wields Leopardos Keyblade) Marluxia (Wields Vulpeus Keyblade) Terranort (Wields Ursus Keyblade) Ephemera Skuld Vanitas Xion (Wields End of Pain Keyblade) I suppose there’s inevitable questions in the way I have ordered the Seeker of Darkness. So, I’ll do my best to try and answer them. 1) Why do some of the Seekers have Foreteller keyblades? Surely they’d have keyblades of their own? Yes, that is a possibility, however, hear me out, the Keyblades of the Foretellers have the Eye of Darkness. Aside the foretellers, Xehanort and people who have closely worked with him or his incarnation (Vanitas/Riku) are only other characters with Keyblades that have the eye of Darkness. My theory is that Xehanort provides these Seekers with their respected Keyblades by using the Eye of Darkness to summon the Foreteller keyblades to them using his ancient Keyblade. After all, it is the initial reason why Braig joined Xehanort’s cause. He wanted a Keyblade of his own. And as far as Vanitas goes, he probably switched his Keyblade as the Foreteller Keyblade is inevitably stronger than the Keyblade that he currently posses. 2) Why is Marluxia in the list? To be a vessel for Xehanort, you don’t have to be willing to Xehanort’s cause to be a vessel. Sora was going to be a Seeker of Darkness at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D before he was saved. In the Keyblade Graveyard, Terra tried to stop Master Xehanort from using his body as a vessel by deflecting it with his armour, but, it was too late. Plus, in recent interviews, Nomura has hinted that Marluxia is dabbling in The Kingdom of Coronia (as hinted by the nobodies that reside there). Nomura has also said in interviews that the Disney worlds are more linked to the overall narrative of Kingdom Hearts as opposed to being secluded to the movie's narrative. Maybe he's hunting down the King and Queen of Coronia because they have valuable information or has an interest in Rapunzel's healing powers (I digress, let me go back to my initial topic). 3) Why is Ephemera and Skuld members? They never existed during Xehanort's time? Well, there’s one of two hypothetical scenarios in which Ephemera and Skuld could end up being a seeker. Scenario 1 would be that these three may be simulations that enter the real world. In Re: Coded, Data Sora grew a heart when Donald and Goofy tried to protect him from Pete in digital Hollow Bastion. In Kingdom Hearts II, we see heartless invading Radiant Garden that came from Space Paranoids: proving that transference from the digital world to the real world is possible. Scenario 2 is that a version of Xehanort existed during the time of Kingdom Hearts X (presumably delving into the Unchained realm) and somehow transferred his heart to them in order to transform them into Seekers. 4) Why is Xion the final member? isn't she resting in Sora's heart? Yes, she is. However, my theory with Xion is that, during 358/2 Days, when Xemnas was modifying an unconscious Xion, Xemnas placed a fraction of his into her (hence Xion providing the message to tell Roxas to stop Xemnas gaining hearts before she fades). But then that begs the question, why is Sora not norted if Xion is resting in her? Simple: because only Xion mind and heart is in Sora, Xion's body was never a definitive body to begin with: she was a literal puppet. Riku sees Xion's body as Sora and Xigbar sees Xion's body as Ventus. Her synthetic body was the only element of her that never belonged to Sora. Her mind and heart were extensions of Sora's: her body was artificially created from Xion's mind and heart.
  16. Who do you think will die in KH3 and who do you want to die in KH3? Aside from the obvious villains who will most likely die, I don't want any of the good characters to die, but I think it would be a great way to bring more emotion to the game and to make Sora and the gang more serious and pull their act together. For example, I think it'd be interesting to see Aerith die. Since she is a different person than she is in Final Fantasy, I don't think the person who kills her should be Sephiroth, I think it should be one of the Seekers of Darkness. Perhaps while at Radiant Garden, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Leon, Yuffie, etc all run outside and see Aerith be struck in the heart by Young Xehanort or something. I think it would bring more depth to all the characters in that scene, because we would be able to see the emotional side of Leon and the other FF characters. It would also show how ruthless and evil Young Xehanort and the Seekers of Darkness are. What are your thoughts on this and who do you think will die in KH3?
  17. What do you think of this idea? I think it would definitely be very interesting and would be a major plot twist. From what we've seen and heard about Xehanort when he was younger with Eraqus, he wasn't exactly an evil person or a villain, he was just simply very interested in the darkness and having perfect balance between light and darkness. This seems to have spiraled over the years into complete obsession with that idea, so maybe it's possible that Young Xehanort realizes how insane he becomes in the future and decides to turn on his future self? If this *does* happen, do you think he would join the same team as the Guardians of Light, or would be on sort of his own separate side? I saw someone mention this whole concept on the KH13 forums and it immediately intrigued me. Ever since we first ran into Young Xehanort in Dream Drop Distance and eventually learned who he was, I instantly thought he was an interesting character. Having something like this happen would make him be an even more interesting character. Another thing that's worth noting is that Young Xehanort used to have friends, such as Eraqus. We don't quite know all the details and facts yet, but from what the little we've seen and heard, it sort of appears as if Young Xehanort used to care for Eraqus and have compassion for him, like any friend would. Maybe this care and compassion slowly left him over the years as he spiraled into complete insanity, which of course ended up with him killing Eraqus. It very much reminds me of Riku and Sora's relationship and how Riku turned on Sora. Except with Xehanort, he never turns good again, but maybe just maybe, Young Xehanort seeing his future self go insane and maybe he realizes how much destruction his future self could really cause if he got his hands on Kingdom Hearts, he changes his mind and turns against him. This is a far fetched idea and most likely won't happen, but I definitely think it's an interesting idea that I think would work very well if it was done right. What are your thoughts on this?
  18. There could be many ways for us to defeat Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts 3, so how do you think that we'll defeat him? Do you think we will destroy him for good? Or not? How do you think he'll be defeated specifically?
  19. People in the KH universe are able to dual wield Keyblades if they have two hearts of Keyblade wielders inside of them. It makes you wonder if you could somehow triple wield or even quadruple wield Keyblades if you have 3 or 4 hearts inside of you. Terra-Xehanort had 3 hearts inside of him: Xehanort's, Terra's, and Eraqus', so I wonder if Terra-Xehanort had the ability to triple wield. Probably not though since Eraqus' Keyblade passed on to Aqua and Lingering Will has Terra's Keyblade. As for Sora, not many people realize this, but Sora actually has triple wielded Keyblades in the past. In KH2FM, during the fight with Roxas inside of Sora's heart, you take Roxas' Keyblades and use them against him. You don't physically wield them with your hands, but they float next to you and you most definitely control them. In DDD, it was hinted at that Roxas, along with most of the other Nobody main characters, were able to grow hearts of their own. If Roxas really did grow a heart of his own, then him merging with Sora would mean he would have 3 hearts inside of himself: his own heart, Ventus', and Roxas'. This would most likely allow him to triple wield, which he does during the fight with Roxas. Like I said above, it's hinted at that all the main Nobody characters, along with Xion, have grown their own hearts. If Xion grew her own heart, then her merging with Sora would mean he has 4 hearts inside of him. Would this mean he has the ability to quadruple wield? Who knows. I think it's very possible. Will he ever triple wield again or even quadruple wield? I doubt it since I don't think he or any of the other characters even know that triple wielding or quadruple wielding is a possibility/might be a possibility.
  20. There are two types of Keyblades. Keyblades of heart and Keyblades of world's hearts. Keyblades of world's hearts have two subcategories: Keyblades of light and Keyblades of darkness. Keyblades of heart are able to unlock people's hearts and manipulate them in certain ways, and Keyblades of world's hearts are able to unlock/lock the hearts of worlds. The only confirmed Keyblade of heart that we've seen so far is the unnamed one that was created by Ansem SoD using the 7 Princesses of Heart. All the rest of the Keyblades we've seen are Keyblades of world's hearts, therefore don't have the ability to unlock and lock hearts of people. But, Xehanort's Keyblade is able to do this. Doesn't this mean that his Keyblade is a Keyblade of heart? EDIT: This question has been answered by Isamu_Kuno. If you'd like to know the answer, scroll down and read his comment. Thank you for the responses!

  22. I'll be explaining the various kinds of enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe, how they're created, what happens when they die, and what their goals are. If you feel you are very familiar with the details and lore behind these enemies, then this post is not for you. Over a long time playing the Kingdom Hearts games, I've notice many people left confused about these enemies, whether it be in real life, or online, so I'm making this post to hopefully clear up that confusion. Enjoy! (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here.) What are Heartless? Heartless are the main and first enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. Most of them are ink black in color and only act on instinct. They can be seen in various of the many worlds and realms in the universe of Kingdom Hearts. The stronger your heart is with the darkness, the more powerful your Heartless you produce will be. There are two types of Heartless: Pureblood Heartless and Emblem Heartless. What goal do Heartless try to achieve? Heartless mainly attempt to find and devour hearts, whether it be the heart of people, or the hearts of worlds. When they devour the heart of a person, then that person becomes a Heartless as well. Heartless, along with other beings strong with dark powers, are able to use portals called Corridors of Darkness. This portals allow them to travel from world to world and from realm to realm. It is dangerous for just anyone to use these portals however, because it is exposing you to direct darkness and it could affect your heart. That is why Heartless mostly use them since they are beings of straight darkness. How are Pureblood Heartless created? Pureblood Heartless were the first types of Heartless to exist. Pureblood Heartless are also known as natural Heartless, since they exist from natural causes. There are two ways a Pureblood Heartless can be created. The first way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created, is when someone succumbs to the darkness in their heart. Once this happens, the darkness inside their heart will devour their heart, then that darkness becomes a Pureblood Heartless. The second way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created is simply by drawing parts of the darkness out of your heart. Only beings that are strong with the darkness are able to do this, such as Xehanort. For example, in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Xehanort was able to create Neoshadow Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Similarly, Riku in the first Kingdom Hearts, was able to create an AntiSora Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Pureblood Heartless are simply darkness of the heart, made flesh. When a heart is unlocked or succumbs to the darkness, the darkness within comes out and becomes a Pureblood Heartless, and devours the heart while it's at it. When a Pureblood Heartless devours someone else's heart, then the darkness within that person's heart will come out and become a Pureblood Heartless as well. When Heartless devour the heart of a world, that world falls to darkness, meaning it ends up in the Realm of Darkness. How are Emblem Heartless created? Emblem Heartless were originally created by a machine made by Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise. This machine reproduced the process in which Pureblood Heartless are created. This means that this machine was able to produce artificial Heartless by making hearts be consumed by darkness. Emblem Heartless are essentially darkness that has a trapped heart inside, unlike Pureblood Heartless which are essentially darkness that have devoured the heart and become one with it. Emblem Heartless can also be created when an Emblem Heartless consumes someone else's heart, just like how Pureblood Heartless are created when a Pureblood Heartless consumes someone else's heart. What happens when Heartless are destroyed? When you destroy a Pureblood Heartless, the heart within them isn't visibly/physically released, but it is definitely freed. The freed heart will eventually end up turning back into a Heartless. When a Pureblood Heartless is destroyed by a Keyblade, then it's freed for good. It goes into a sort of limbo state and waits for the corresponding Nobody to be destroyed so that it can combine back with the body and recomplete the original person. If the person has no corresponding Nobody, then all you have to do to recomplete them is destroy their Heartless (with a Keyblade) since their body is already waiting in the limbo state. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed, the corrupted heart that's freed will end up turning back into a Heartless, just like the Pureblood Heartless. Except the hearts are visibly freed. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed by a Keyblade, the heart is freed for good and goes into the aforementioned limbo state and waits for the Nobody counterpart to be destroyed, just like the Pureblood Heartless. If there is no Nobody counterpart, then all you need to do to recomplete the original person is to destroy the Heartless with a Keyblade. Them being destroyed by a Keyblade also allows Organization XIII to be able to collect the hearts before they get a chance to recomplete. What are Nobodies? Nobodies were the second enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. They are mainly white in color, and they lack hearts. Many Nobodies also use Corridors of Darkness as well. Since they have no hearts, Corridors of Darkness are a huge convenience for them since they can use them without being affected. What goal do Nobodies try and achieve? Nobodies do not have a direct goal. Unlike Heartless, Nobodies have a sense of self, so they are basically free to do what they please. Most of them however, work together to achieve the one thing they truly want: their hearts. Since Nobodies have no hearts, they do not have emotions or feelings. They do however remember what it was like to have emotions and feelings. How are Nobodies created? When somebody loses their heart and become a Heartless, their body and soul fade away and wait for its Heartless counterpart to be destroyed by a Keyblade so the original person can be recompleted. If you had a particularly strong heart however, then your soul will continue living on inside of your body, therefore making your body live on as well. This is what a Nobody is. The stronger your heart was, the more humanoid and the more like you, your Nobody looks. People with slightly weaker hearts, become less and less human looking and take the form of creature type beings that somewhat resemble Heartless, other than the color differences. Organization XIII, a group of powerful Nobodies, are able to convert other powerful Nobodies into lesser, creature-type Nobodies, such as Dusks, as well, presumably using a machine to do so. What happens when Nobodies are destroyed? If a Nobody is destroyed, then it fades away. When someone's Nobody and corresponding Heartless are both destroyed, then that original person will return as a complete being, with heart, body, and soul all intact. (The Heartless needs to be destroyed by a Keyblade). If somebody didn't have a strong enough heart to produce a Nobody, then simply destroying their Heartless with a Keyblade will make them return since their body and soul, the things that would have created a Nobody, have already been destroyed. When you return as a complete being, you have all of your memories from when you were a Nobody as well as your old memories. You do not remember your time as a Heartless though. Other Information Nobodies are actually able to regrow hearts of their own. It is currently unknown what the specifics of this are and what the exact process is. Nobodies have the memories of when they were people. What are Unversed? Unversed are beings created by extremely strong negative emotions. They spawn from Vanitas and his emotions particularly, presumably because there is no other being with negative emotions as strong as his since he is a being of pure darkness. The negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical form, which is what Unversed are. Their goal is to do whatever Vanitas orders them to do, and when they are destroyed, their negativity flows right back into Vanitas. What are Dream Eaters? Dream Eaters are beings that exist and are born in the Realm of Sleep. They can also be created artificially. They are the Realm of Sleep's own personal way of darkness taking form as creatures. They are also the physical embodiments of dreams. They consume dreams. There are two types of Dream Eaters: Spirits and Nightmares. Spirits eat bad dreams, while Nightmares eat good dreams and plant bad ones. When they are destroyed, they seem to simply vanish, but Dream Eaters essentially work the same way dreams do since they are the physical embodiments of dreams, so all you'd have to do to get a Dream Eater to return after being destroyed is to dream it up again. That would be pretty difficult though since you can't really control what you dream about. Sora and Riku used fragments they collected from Nightmare Dream Eaters to artificially create their own Spirit Dream Eaters. The Master of Masters artificially created Spirit Chirithy Dream Eaters as well, probably using the same method as Sora and Riku. That is what we know so far about all the enemy types in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Now, I will explain various characters' involvements with these enemy types and how they relate to them. Sora In the first Kingdom Hearts, Sora stabbed himself in the heart with the Keyblade of Heart. This unlocked his heart, therefore making the darkness in his heart come out and become a Pureblood Heartless. When Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, he had Kairi and Ventus' hearts inside of him. This also created Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Roxas is a special Nobody since he was created by a unique circumstance. Since Sora had Ventus' heart inside of him, Ventus' heart went with his body and soul (Roxas) and went inside of Roxas. Kairi's heart returned to her body and she was recompleted. Since Kairi is a Princess of Heart, she has special light abilities. Since this is the case, she was able to purify Sora's Heartless and bring him back to his human form. Sora was able to return back to his human form without the need and use of his body or soul, which is an extremely unique circumstance. He had technically become a walking, talking heart, until Roxas returned to him. Another thing to mention is how Sora's Heartless had a sense of self. When you willingly give in to the darkness and become a Heartless, then your Heartless will have a sense of self. Roxas Roxas is the Nobody of Sora. He took on the appearance of Ventus since he has Ventus' heart inside of him. Roxas has since returned back to Sora, and Sora is complete again. Roxas lacks his memory from when he was Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Kairi Kairi is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, so she doesn't have any darkness within her heart whatsoever. Since this is the case, when her heart left her body, no Heartless was created. Her heart took refuge within Sora and was later returned to her body when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart and she was recompleted. Since she is a Princess of Heart and couldn't produce a Heartless, no Nobody was created either. Her body did not fade away since she had a strong heart, but it did not turn into a Nobody either since she had no darkness within her heart to turn into a Heartless, so her body stayed in a sort of comatose state until her heart returned to her. Like I stated before, she could not produce a Nobody since there was no darkness within her heart to produce a Heartless. But, when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, Kairi's heart was released, which then created a Nobody of Kairi since Sora did have darkness within his heart. Naminé Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi that was created by Sora instead of Kairi, as explained above. Since she was not created by a body or soul, she technically doesn't exist and shouldn't exist, but she does anyway. It is an extremely unique and special circumstance. Since she was created by such a unique circumstance and has a unique bond with Sora since she was created by him instead of Kairi, she is able to manipulate Sora's memories and the people's memories who are close to him. She has since returned to Kairi and Kairi is a complete person again. As stated above, Roxas has no memories of his time as Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Naminé lacks her memory of her time as Kairi for this same reason. Naminé doesn't have her memory of her time as Kairi because Kairi never even had a Heartless to begin with. Terra-Xehanort Terra-Xehanort, also known as Apprentice Xehanort, is Terra's body taken over by Xehanort and is being used as a host body for Xehanort. He worked as an apprentice under the scientist, Ansem the Wise, so he can get close to the technology and resources that he has. He tested on different people and their hearts to see what affects different tests had. All of his tests ended in the people's hearts collapsing. He locked these people up in cells in a dungeon and since their hearts were collapsing, the darkness within them came out and consumed their hearts and became Pureblood Heartless. Heartless were very rare before these experiments occurred. He then created another test. He put alive people and dead people in the cell with these Heartless. The Heartless went for the alive people, because they had hearts. This caused the Heartless to increase in numbers. Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise, then created a machine. This machine was the machine stated earlier that artificially created Heartless, known as Emblem Heartless. Later, Terra-Xehanort turned most of the apprentices into Pureblood Heartless by stabbing them all with his Keyblade. He also succumbed to the darkness and became a Pureblood Heartless himself. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is the Heartless of Terra-Xehanort. He was created when the Robed Figure let himself be consumed by the darkness in his heart, therefore becoming a Heartless. That is what Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is. He had a sense of self, just like Sora's Heartless did, because he willingly became a Heartless. He is one of the only people to retain a human appearance after becoming a Heartless. He has since been destroyed by Sora. Scar Scar gave into the darkness in his heart, which caused the darkness within his heart to come out, consume his heart, then turn into a Pureblood Heartless. Scar retained his regular appearance, much like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He also had a sense of self, because he willingly became a Heartless. After Scar's Heartless was defeated, a strange and unique phenomenon occurred. Beings known as The Ghosts of Scar were formed from the lingering darkness of Scar. It is unknown why or how this exactly happened, and it is unknown if these "ghosts" would be classified as Heartless or not, but they were able to merge together to create an Emblem Heartless known as a Groundshaker, which is an even stranger phenomenon that has no current explanation. Xemnas Xemnas is the Nobody of Terra-Xehanort, created when Terra-Xehanort succumbed to the darkness and became a Heartless. Xemnas has since been destroyed by Sora. Since both Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody have been destroyed, Xehanort has returned as a complete person. Vanitas Vanitas is the darkness from inside of Ventus, taken humanoid form. Ventus was used by Xehanort to try and fulfill his plan of recreating the χ-blade. To recreate the χ-blade, two beings, one of pure light, and one of pure darkness, need to clash. So, Xehanort extracted the darkness side of Ventus' heart from within Ventus and it took a physical, humanoid form, known as Vanitas. Since Vanitas is a being of complete darkness, without a single bit of light within him, he produces extremely strong negative emotions. These negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical forms, known as Unversed. Riku In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Riku is considered to be a Dream Eater, because he has the ability to dive into Sora's dreams, and defeat the bad dreams, just like a Spirit Dream Eater would. That's it! I hope this was able to help anyone who was puzzled or somewhat confused with any of the enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below.
  23. This is a KH Interactive video I made. It's the first in a series, and it should take about 15-20 mins to complete. It stars Young Xehanort on his quest to become a Keyblade Master and conquer the Seven Lost Memes. "10/10" -IGN It also took several months to make so feedback is appreciated, thanks mates!
