  1. Man... I had totally forgot about this place after almost 8-9 years since I last logged in. I remember it use to be booming with all kinds of posts years ago. I guess it died down a bunch since then. 1.) Introduction and Explanation Anywho, for those who don't know me. I'm the crazy guy that attempted, Raged hard, raged some more, almost lost my sanity, completed, and proved to everyone on gamefaqs over 8-9ish years ago that it's 100% possible, and legit to be able to complete BOTH (Well... Now 3 is added as well, so more than 2)(NAMELY 2.5, and reasons will be listed next) Kingdom Hearts games at Level 1 Proud Mode for KH1.5(which, if you DIDN'T know, because of the way the mechanics work, Proud mode is actually the harder difficulty for a Level 1 run in KH1.5 instead of Critical because you ALWAYS do chip damage in Proud. Critical is actually a little easier because Sora can do more damage in that difficulty) and Critical Mode(2.5 + 3), but not just complete them at Level 1; (that's been done by a handful of people. However, everybody that has completed the Lvl 1 run always labels their run "complete" Yet, they all stopped at SILVER Crown.) But, I decided, and wanted to take it all a step further, and be the standout of them all. As well as debunking the most ridiculous, yet shockingly widespread belief beyond the masses: the before thought "Impossible" Holy Grail of Kingdom Heart challenges: Completing Level 1 critical mode... AS WELL as obtaining 100% completion in the Jiminy Journal, including completion of EVERY Mushroom XIII challenges, and actually having the GOLD Crown! Which was considered literally impossible. (Yeah, I know. Insane, isn't it?) 2.) The False Rumor And The Mission To Prove The World Wrong To actually 100% the Jiminy Journal, and Obtain Gold Crown in 2.5 which involves the Mushroom XIII challenges. Everybody, and their momma back then swore, and pushed the notion of "You can't complete atleast 1 or 2 of the mushroom challenges (most notably, Agrabah mushroom, Twilight Town, and Port Royal mushroom, respectively) without leveling up, it's totally impossible" As well as the old fable of "It's impossible to get Ultima Weapon in 1.5 at Level 1 because you don't get lucky strike abilities to grind synthesis materials without leveling" etc. Nah, it's all do-able. A huge pain in the ass? Yes. Definitely. But, achievable. 3.) Hype Yourself Up/Believe In Your Ability Like myself before attempting, I'm sure most people would just shake their head, and say to themselves "nope. Never. Cant do it" I was that guy. Then one day, I told myself "Hey... they put the option to void any EXP gain.. I'm gonna try it.. Let's see what happens, and how it goes at level 1. I mean, it can't be IMPOSSIBLE; They obviously added it as a feature for a reason." 4.) The Beginning of Doubt Of course, I begin. I start treading along, beginning my journey into my first attempt into a Kingdom Hearts game without leveling up. Everything goes smoothly, up until you start getting demolished left, and right every second, and the bosses annihilate you in a single hit. Making you re-evaluate, and question your ability, and if you can do it. 5.) Opening Your Perception/Total Realization The KH series, AND the series' difficulty as a whole; drastically, and dramatically changed for me once my eyes opened, and I seen the blatant "slap you in the face" obvious, and stopped trying to play Kingdom Hearts like an Action/Adventure RPG like a normal/casual playthrough would basically literally be. Instead, gaining the Square Enix perspective, and knowing their past; made me realize that it's supposed to actually be played like, (and get ready for a mind blown moment) a friggin' Turn Based RPG... Honestly, I think once you guys get this realization, and mindset in your head like I did while you're playing through; every one of you, and I mean EVERYONE of you guys, no matter how "gud" you ARE or AREN'T at the Kingdom Hearts games in a casual, normal playthrough. You can be absolute dirt at the (falsely assumed random, seemingly "unpredictable", ever-constant flow of combat) but start trying to take a slightly different approach/('s) towards the way you actually play games like this, and even open up your mind, and perceive, and acknowledge the gameplay in a different way altogether than what you, and probably, most people normally would have absolutely no idea or even fathom that there's more to, and many more ways to go into a Kingdom Hearts game than the basic, "normal" DmC-esque style combat that we all experience/('d) and most of us, are even conditioned to. 6.) Breaking Old Habits/Adopting New Ones However, once you change the perception/habits you have of the game already, and change the rules ever so slightly, and subtly to merely change towards a playstyle that of the old-school, traditional turn based views, and start planning strategies, and changing your playstyle around a "turn-based rpg mindset" instead of our pre-conditioned, already accustomed, and comfortable free flow combat that most of us are already "comfortable" with or use to. 7.) Acknowledge Game Mechanics/Learn Everything Any of you guys without a doubt in my mind would be able to Level 1 the game as it then becomes almost trivially easy once you decide to perceive KH in just a slightly different way (Turn Based instead of Free Combat) and start to play in an entirely different way accordingly (Having a turn based view/play style really helps not only by helping you learn to better/more accurately time your attacks, guards, dodge rolls, reflects, and etc. But, also makes you a lot more aware, and attentive as you're going to be learning to take it slow, and not rush battles, but to stay on your toes, closely watch for any, even if very subtle visual clues: motions with an enemy's hands, AND their body language. As well as listening for any audio clues or catch phrases; these are everything you are looking for to expect, and anticipate the next move of your opponent. Get a hit in when you can, and defend all the counter attacks that will be delivered back afterwards. Learn the timing to perfect guard; it's going to be the key to your survival, and the timing of each attack you learn never changes. So you don't have to ever expect or assume that a certain attack is ever going to be slower/faster than when previously used. You finally learn the timing for perfect guarding an attack, and you'll always be able to perfect guard it, as it will never be change the rate of speed. 8.) Truth of Developer's 100% Intended Game Design And The Public's Blindness So yes. After stating this, and the way certain mechanics work. Know it or not, even believe it or not. Even though it does EVERYTHING to make you "think" it's an action RPG. Which is semi-true, and fully the case to the masses. It was fully meant, and intended as a Turn Based RPG, and I'm going to open your eyes, and convince you. 9.) How The Kingdom Hearts Series Hides It's True Intended Design, and Disguises Itself As An Action RPG Any casual player gets the action RPG style in a normal playthrough. Just as every first time, 2nd time, etc. player always does. Nothing about the gameplay comes off as "turn based". And is more than often considered the polar opposite of a Turn Based game. Which, was presented this way to appeal to a wider audience such as younger aged, Disney lovers who didn't grow up with RPGs, or just jumped into the game world. As leveling makes it where you literally never have to learn or even use guard, reflect or parry the counters you receive if you really never even wanted to. As taking damage is hardly worrisome, or trivial, and easily tended to with a Cure, and Potions. You can even just carelessly attack, and attack anytime you want. Even if it isn't the best time, and you take a hit. You can still beat the game, and everything in it regardless. - No Turn Based Elements seen/felt whatsoever 10.) Awakening Into Reality/Acknowledging The Hidden Truth: Turn-Based Gameplay In comparison, Level 1: Any hit you take can 1 shot you. If you get caught in a combo attack, you WILL die. There's no possible way to constantly spam attacks, and tank hits. You gotta learn how to properly utilize things that you probably hardly, if ever even used: Guard, Reflect, Dodge Roll, Aerial Recovery, etc. and to learn timing. All this coupled along with the Revenge Counter mechanic (Which, I will explain in more detail below) is how it becomes a Turn Based game; as there is only a certain amount of attacks you can deliver before the enemy counters. - Turn Based RPG 11.) Notice The Signs/Process Everything/Uncover The Veil The first mentioned; is the game probably 90% or more of the masses experience, and perceive. People just don't see the alternative, and it's funny because I just seen a thread on another forum where the OP literally posted "I absolutely love Kingdom Hearts, because it's not just another cliche Turn Based RPG. I despise them." That was almost laughable, and cringe to read, and goes to show just how many people can overlook major things that are hidden in plain sight. However, if one is to attempt a Level 1 run, and play Kingdom Hearts the true way the developers intended; fact is, it's nothing more than a regular Square-Enix FF style "TURN BASED RPG" with complete movement, and control of character at all times. 12.) The Main Mechanics And Physics: The Enemy's "Revenge Counter" Seriously, when you get down into the physics, mechanics, and all the equations that go into every single boss fight, you begin to see it. Just ONE example is this: You're in the middle of a fight, let's say with Data Roxas; just for an example. Soon as the battle begins, and you gain control of Sora, you need to cast a reflect to counter Roxas' Keyblade Spin. After the successful reflect you are granted a small window where you're allowed to attack, and land up to (and let's just say for instance in this example, maybe 3-4 hits) 3-4 hits on Roxas before he is scripted to automatically counter attack. These counter attacks are termed "Revenge Counter" or just simply "RC" abbreviated. if you ever see the term in guides or posts, or in future research, but didn't know what it meant. 13.1) Explaining "Revenge Counters" And "Revenge Values"/Looping Bosses And Minimizing Danger Ah, Revenge Counter. The key to winning, and main mechanic of a level 1 run tbh. Every enemy has always been scripted to counter attack after a few hits, and this was so everybody at level 100 with Sora couldn't just endlessly wail on an opponent non-stop, and make it even easier than what it already was to begin with. Now, once you actually learn about, and study the revenge counter mechanic, and how each enemy works; you actually can use it 100% in your favor in completing, hell, I'd even go so far as to say even almost cheesing a Lvl 1 crit run. As in, learn to read the small signals before attacks. Nothing is unpredictable. There's ALWAYS a signal/warning. Learn how many hits you can throw before they counter attack Sora. 13.2) Deeper Breakdown Of "Revenge" Mechanics/Examples Of "Baiting" Attacks These hits, the attacks, the number, whatever you're most comfortable calling it; for future reference or research of your own are termed "Revenge Values" or simply "RV" if abbreviated. After you learn how many hits you can land (the number of hits it takes to bait an RC is the opponent's RV) learn the timing to guard the counter attack/(s) after, and retaliating in the enemy's small, brief recovery window. All you do is, count your hits, after you land that 4th hit (or whatever number of hits the current boss' Revenge Counter activates) you need to automatically hit guard so you can negate his RC, and guard his other 2-3 hits he dishes out before leaving another open window to land another 3-4 hits on him. It's literally rinse, and repeat: Attack 3-4 times to force or "bait" the enemy to counter attack-> Guard incoming revenge counter attacks from the enemy -> Throw another 3-4 strikes to hit his Revenge Value again to force another auto-counter. And it's just repeat steps over again. Essentially, what you're trying to do is put an enemy into a neverending loop that you can fully predict. You will see evidence of this in every fight in every video I'm going to post below. You pay attention, and you'll notice that I'll always hit an X amount of times (factor of X is the actual RV. Determined differently with each enemy. Could be 6 hits, like Marluxia's RV. Could be only 4 hits like Roxas' RV) but I ALWAYS land no more, and (hopefully) no less than the exact number of attacks needed to bait them into a RC, and guard it. 14.) Always Land The Exact Revenge Values. No More Any attempt to, or if you accidentally deliver an extra attack that is higher than the actual RV, you might as well retry; because you're not going to be guarding that counter, get caught in a combo you can't escape, and face the 1 hit death. Just follow those simple steps, and it then repeats the pattern if you're doing it correctly, and won't be unpredictable. What you're really trying to do is just try to keep everything in a never-ending loop so any unpredictability, and danger is eliminated. 15.) Explanation of "I-Frames" and How To Use Them For An Advantage Also, another biggie is learning I-Frames. Or, "Invincibility Frames" meaning the tiny few frames where Sora is invincible for instance: when you use a Drive Form, there are a few brief seconds of frames where you will not take any damage in the middle of using a form. Or using a skill like Donald's Duck Flare, and using it to your advantage, as you will see me do a bunch against Lingering Will at Level 1 to avoid being skill/attack/item locked, whip locked, and to stay safe during his DM or "Desperation Move" (Every boss has a DM which is expressed by the screen going dark, and the boss does their "finisher" per se.) 16.) The Biggest Slept On/Underestimated Skills In The Game: Reflect/ra/ga And Guard To probably over 90% of the KH community that sleeps on, and probably have never once used the spell Reflect-Reflectga. You have no idea just how busted, how necessary it is, and how brokenly powerful that spell is. Especially in a Level 1 run. It's pretty much an absolute MUST in it to do any real damage at that level. Not only that, but if you're not a master or not use to timing your guard precisely yet, Reflect/ga is an alternative that is safe, and don't need to be facing any particular direction to guard anything. Only downside to spamming reflect constantly instead of mixing up guards, and reflects is that if you don't rely on using guard, and spam reflect instead; you're going to be struggling to keep, and have MP when you want/need it. 17.) Short Summary/Review Of Everything So Far/Convinced Yet? Convinced yet? Literally. Turn-Based RPG. Except think of each of your 3-4 chain attacks as a "turn" and you know that as soon as you land your 4th keyblade hit, your turn is over, and it's automatically going to be the opponent's "turn", and since you're expecting this, and know this, you block perfectly in time with his counter attacks, and learn their pattern. The key is to try to just keep it in a constant, simple, loop-ish kinda fight. Making sure to force the counter attack yourself so you know precisely when to guard; rather than having to randomly guess/pray when their next attack is going to be, and if you're going to be able to read it quick enough. 18.) Opening Up Your Mindset/Perception/Planning Strategies Toward The Hidden Turn-Based Gameplay Is Key This was the biggest, and most obvious "eye-opening" realization that helped me tremendously once I started looking at it as a Turn Based game. Respectfully like most of Square Enix's works prior. Which, I believe if most people started having that mindset of playing it like it's turn-based, just about everyone that truly wanted to would be able to complete the level 1 challenge a lot easier than ever initially thought. Literally every boss has their own respectful number of attacks they can receive before being scripted to auto-counter attack. Don't matter who you're facing. Don't care if it's a regular ol' Heartless, and Nobody, or if it's the friggin' One-Winged Angel, Sephiroth or the "Seemingly impossible, even at Level 100" Lingering Will himself... They all can be read, and baited into an auto-counter. All of them. 19.) Outro/Final Messages/My Video Proof If anyone is interested in watching a few of my Level 1 Crit 2.5 Organization fights for entertainment or maybe to study for your own future level 1 run, I'm going to be posting links to them below. I just wish like hell that I had a good camera back then... I'm so sorry, and apologize from the bottom of my soul about the quality, but... It's literally all I had. My crap phone camera, and setting it up to point directly at my TV while I'm actually playing live in the moment, as you can probably tell by the noise of all the button mashing but, at that time, all I was worried about was having proof so all the board back then stopped saying that I was a liar, and showing that I actually did it... Final Words Of Encouragement/Faith In You All Hope others may find help, and for others, even courage to attempt this challenge. If anyone is interested in trying it, and maybe have questions, I'd be more than happy to help out in any way that I possibly can, and any feedback, comments, questions, and anything is welcome, and wanted. Thanks guys! Like I said earlier, don't ever doubt yourself in anything. If myself, of all people can beat every KH game at Level 1; then I KNOW for a FACT anybody at all can. I promise you. As for the brave souls that will be attempting this seemingly impossible task anytime in the upcoming future, I leave you all with 1 final, and important message: "May Your Heart, Be Your Guiding Key"
  2. And the next in the series I have going is the final battle for Chain of Memories! This time with a twist! Hope you all like it!

  5. In Kingdom Hearts 3, we see Marluxia putting Sora into a deep sleep. It's safe to assume that Marluxia has a special power over sleep. In DDD, the organization hijacked the Realm of Dreams to capture and corrupt Sora. Due to sleep being Marluxia's power, and all the years he spent in the realm of dreams, (probably where he got the power anyways) I think Marluxia was the one who hijacked it. This would be the reason Xehanort kept Marluxia in the organization, even after his betrayal. Until now I thought that was odd, he literally planned to kill xemnas and take over organization 13. If it wasn't for this, his inclusion wouldn't make sense.
  6. Okay so I just noticed this the other day while I was playing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix collection. Each Absent Silhouette is placed in a specific location for a specific reason. Here are the reasons for their locations: -Marluxia Is placed in the beast's room near his flower because Marluxia's element is flowers. -Larxene is placed on Isla de Muerta in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, because similar to a pirate, she is a traitor to Organization 13 -Lexaeus is placed in the Sandlot where the struggle battles are held to determine who is the strongest person in Twilight town similar to how Lexaues is the physically strongest Organization member. -Zexion is placed in the Underworld because he mostly resides in the basement of castle oblivion and uses dark magic and the power of illusions to fight. Now the reason for this thread is I cannot figure out why Vexen is placed in the peddlers shop in Agrabah and I haven't found the answer on google. I was wondering if anyone knew why or would like to discuss why. Also I'd love to discuss the other absent Silhouette locations to see if anyone else noticed this.
  7. Alright so, I think I've solved some of the main mysteries regarding the series around the world of union cross but I'm no expert so if I missed anything or you could add to the discussion that would be great, but I really think I'm on to something here So, what we know so far, the world of Union Cross is a virtual replica of the world of Chi which is the actual story of the events that led to the keyblade war of old then after the world perished and was reborn the the data of what happened was used in creating a virtual copy which would be used to study that history and how to prevent that scenario from happening. After the events of the war take place in Union Cross we start meeting new characters that weren't present in the original Chi, the first one we want to focus on is Ventus, for obvious reasons, we know he comes from a time that's definitely after the keyblade war, after the worlds were reborn and separated so how is he back? another charater we meet is Lauriam the original Marluxia(and just now we were introduced to Erlena who later becomes Larxene) what's important about Lauriam is that he looks noticeably younger than Marluxia (we know people may change a bit when they become nobodies but nothing as drastic as aging 10 years) so I believe Lauriam is the key to connecting Ventus to this era, we have just been looking at it backwards. It is not that Ven traveled back in time, but the world of Union Cross was created much much later, specifically around the Birth By Sleep Era, there is a lot of evidence that leads me to believe this is the case like This would place Lauriam in the correct age range (he was probably born around the same time as Isa & Lea, whose younger selves we met during BBS) Ventus is shown in his BBS clothes except missing one thing, his should pauldron which he uses to summon his armor, but! there is one instance during Birth By Sleep where he was seen wearing no pauldron, during his time training with Master Xehanort to extract his darkness before his heart is fractured and falls in a coma This takes place during a flashback and there is an unespecified amount of time that takes place during the gap between Ventus' heart being fractued and his arrival to the land of departure, it was shown that Xehanort was ready to give up on Ven waking up and took him to destiny islands to die I propose that during that gap Ven was used to experiment and research the new virtual world that was developed, but who created that world? Xehanort in an attempt to unlock the secrets of the past? No, he has never been shown to be know about creating that sort of thing, but we know of another character who has done just that, recreate worlds in the datascape and transport people there without them even knowing it I believe Ansem the Wise created the world of Union Cross, true he has never been shown talking about the keyblade war but I think he is more connected to the past than we know, first of all, he is ansem the WISE, king of radiant garden, so it would make sense for a wise king to know about the events of the past that regular people ignore, even Kairi's grandma knew a bit about how the world ended and was reborn so it is confirmed that knowledge of the old world reached radiant garden at least in some form So, Ansem the Wise managed to get a hold of Ven's body for a while, scanned him and added him to the world, maybe he thought that as a keyblade weilder his heart would help his simulated world be more accurate Here's where I must say I DO NOT CLAIM TO KNOW HOW ANSEM THE WISE GOT A HOLD OF VENTUS, maybe Xehanort, having his own desire to know about the past allowed the experiment to take place and after he Ventus could no longer be useful, that's when he took him to destiny islands (Xehanort would obviously have to hide his identity since when Ansem find the amnesiac Terra-nort and hears his name he does not react to it, and it would make sense, Xehanort wouldn't like others, like Eraqus, discover what he was doing) Earlier I said Ansem the Wise (ATW) may know more about the world before the keyblade war than he lets on and that there is something else that connects him to the past, something that I noticed long ago but couldn't find a solid reason for it to exist in such detail During Kingdom Hearts we not only learn about ATW's knowledge of creating virtual worlds and encoding real world objects into data, we learn that the old mansion in twilight town serves as his hideout/research lab but if we explore the place and pay attention to it's surroundings we can find something peculiar, all around the mansions we see iconography of something very important, we see images and sculptures of unicorns adorning the whole placethe unicorn being the symbol of one of the foretellers in chi/union cross So what if ATW in his research over the years found this information and tried to learn more about this old world (maybe he believed Ira as the Leader would be the one who held the answers so he aligned himself with his union) Skipping over a bit, during the new cutscene added to Re:Coded we see Maleficent talk about the similarities to between the datascape and the tome of prophecies and a few weeks ago we discovered that the Maleficent in UC is not a virtual character but the true maleficent, whose heart traveled back in time after being defeated in KH1 and is trying to change her fate, but instead of traveling to her true past she was (somehow) trapped in a virtual past by a hooded character refering to himself only as "darkness", since they don't want her interfering with the future and the plans they have, this had led many to believe this "darkness" to be Xehanort since he knows about time travel and has big plans in store, but I don't think that's the case, I believe, again this darkness is our man, Ansem the Wise, he also has been conducting research all this time and would want an uncontrolled outside force to interfere with it, and taking care of the easy one, the figure calls himself "Darkness", what other name has Ansem given himself? DiZ: DARKNESS in Zero So Ansem as the administrator of this virtual world would have no problem in controlling anyone inside his world/software this would help his research to continue on. And I believe this research, this knowledge of the past studied to prevent a future disaster is the very same research that has been alluded by him all these games, the very same research that he hid inside Sora while he was asleep, the knowledge to finding yourself or your lost friends in your hour of need Back to Maleficent, we know she traveled back in time and I stated how the world of UC was created around the time of BBS, but we don't really know how long it lasted so it could be that, maleficent traveled back to the time of BBS trying to undo her defeat during that game, but was trapped in a virtual world by Ansem and during the time she spent there the other events of BBS took place and then the betrayl by Xehanort and the other apprentices, when ATW was betrayed and sent to the realm of darkness that's when Maleficent, without Ansem eye on her, was able to escape and return to the real world, to the time of KH2 So in conclusion Ansem the wise wanted to know more about the keyblade war in order to prevent it and protect all worlds, using the knowledge he gathered over the years he created a virtual simulation of that era (probably thanks to Xehanort's own plans) added Ventus in an effort to enhance the world by adding a true keyblade weilder, Lauriam and Erlena were also added (we could think of them as a sort of Beta testers), they might've lost their hearts at the end of the simulation in whatever way that happens, at the same time Maleficent is trapped in the virtual world by Ansem to prevent her from changing history, the simulation continues, Xehanort takes Ventus back to destiny islands and the events of the games take place from BBS to KH2 by this time ATW has been sent to the realm of darkness and returned as DiZ, maleficent escapes the datascape (because UC is just another datascape, that's why the world of the journal in Re:Coded seems familiary to her) and Ansem after experiencing all he has, and gaining all that knowledge over the years, takes his data and places it inside a sleeping Sora, hoping that somehow the experiences of the past help save the future PHEW.... so that's it. I know some parts are out of order but im writting all this from ideas I had on my head and giving it structure as I go on, I hope you found in interesting and bring forth your own ideas about what you think I got right or not so right Thans for reading! May your heart be your guiding key

  10. Obviously a narcissistic that thinks he's so flipping pretty would be some pokemon with looks. And since he's into flowers, a grass type would be good. Yeah yeah there's others suitors like Roserade but don't you agree it would be too obvious? I thought a Meganium would be a funnier choice since it's not too obvious. And make the flower as a rose to fit better. Yeah now suits the bastard well! Ihatehim
  11. Here is the video as promised! For the people that didn't read my previous post. This is a mod I made for the mmo Vindictus. As you can see in the video the game sometimes lags. 13. Tagline: "...Our battle is over...but the war...has only just begun." Synopsis: Three and a half years have passed since the events of KINGDOM HEARTS III, in which Sora, aided by his fellow Guardians of Light had defeated both Master Xehanort and his Organization XIII comprised of various incarnations of himself and now, the Worlds are at peace, however...that does not mean that peace lasts forever, for now a both strange and mysterious new threat is attacking the universe and it is up to both Sora and friends to stop it, along the way they meet both old and new friends alike, exploring various and vast new Worlds unlike which they have ever seen beforehand, mastering new spells and abilities and also for Sora, gaining new Keyblades to fight with, as Sora begins this new adventure of his, he soon discovers that this new threat that is trying to destroy the galaxy is related in more ways then one to the legendary Keyblade War, of which Xehanort was trying to restart and had ultimately failed to do so, thanks to Sora and the others' efforts, at any rate, this new threat may very well be trying to get its hands on the one true χ-Blade, in order to unlock the mysteries of its counterpart, the one true Kingdom Hearts, to in turn become a god above both everything and everyone...in an attempt to stop this evil menace, Sora travels with both Donald Duck and Goofy once more to find out more about the enemy that they are currently facing whilst both Riku and King Mickey Mouse don the Black Coats of Organization XIII once more and travel across the Worlds through the Corridors of Darkness, attempting their own investigation into matters from their side, meanwhile, Master Yen Sid has both Kairi and Lea undertake the Mark of Mastery Exam, in the hopes that just like Sora and Riku beforehand will the two master new powers to combat this new threat, aiding in the training of the two are Merlin and the three good fairies, as requested their help by Yen Sid, in the meantime, Maleficent and Pete are up to their no good tricks again and are attempting to reassemble the council of Disney villains from the original KINGDOM Hearts to further their own goals of universal domination, Ventus, Terra and Aqua are on standby at the newly restored Land of Departure until given further orders by the revived Master Eraqus, Roxas, Axel, Xion and Namine are also on standby with Pence, Hayner and Olette in Twilight Town at the old mansion, finally, the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, along with the somebodies of Dilan, Even, Aeleus, Ienzo and the redeemed Isa, as well, as Ansem the Wise, having been restored to the wise sage and ruler of Radiant Garden are currently looking into matters regarding research on this new foe that everyone is now faced with... This new foe is said to be just about, as dangerous, as Xehanort was...maybe, even more so...aided by four henchmen, this new enemy and his servants don white versions of Organization XIII's Black Coats and all together call themselves the "Illuminati", the Illuminati lead creatures that feed off positive energy and vibes that they refer to, as the "Versed", said to be the exact opposites of the Unversed themselves, the Versed are easily identified by having the very same symbol, as the Unversed do upon their bodies, the only difference being that the colour for the Versed is white instead of the Unversed's black, a possible hint into the identity of who these new enemies are, namely their leader, as he bares a Unversed symbol zipper on his white coat, he calls himself "χ-Super" and under his white coat's hood, he is shown to wear a variation of Vanitas' helmet but with a large X across the helmet's face, whatever his intentions are currently unknown but he states that he will bring about what he calls the "Versus XIII" and whatever this means, most people tend to take it, as to him meaning that he is going to form another Organization XIII like Xehanort previously did in the past twice and is attempting to recreate the Keyblade War, now, on a mission to stop this possible raving lunatic, Sora and friends, old and new battle Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, Dream Eaters and these new Versed monsters across all of the realms a person can think of and finally, the story that began with Xehanort's ambition will end once and for all here, at least that is what is going through Sora's mind at the moment but still he ponders, is there more to this Versus XIII? what exactly does it mean? all will be explained... This is KINGDOM HEARTS IV-The free Role-Play for everyone where they can experiment on what life would be like after the events of the Xehanort/Dark Seeker Saga have ended, please share with me your opinions on the story before i continue making the Character Sheets and Rules.
  14. Long time series fan & like many I found COM to be a frustrating game but I think most people including myself spent more time being frustrated by the game then paying attention to its characters. I was on a different forum posting this theory & even made a youtube video about it but everytime I post it anywhere it gets pulled. Either its that far left field or I am on to something? So here it goes. Castle Oblivion, I am going to break down each major player there & their purpose behind their real plans. Most everyone there is not there for the reasons you think. Vexen is my favorite of the Organization (I do not care for much of them)& thats how I begun to dig into this game. Lets start easy, Sora. Sora is simply lead their by Marluxia falling the events of the very first game & has mostly no major role to play other than being used by every other character for different plans. Riku. Riku ends up here after being lost in the darkness & is looking for the King, Sora, & some way to fight his darkness. Again simple. From here on out things get kinda messy so try to stay with me. Xemnas is frustrated with these 6 members so he sends them off to Castle Oblivion under the notion that this is a mission to dwell in the castle for the time being. Hes frustrated with them because they are either failing him or getting in the way of his true plans. I will explain. Marluxia is a traitor but is not the lead turncoat, but co-leader. We will get back to this. Vexen has been only showing interest in his studies & is no longer a loyal member of the team but instead only wanting to serve his research & doing so even when instructed not to. Vexen at this point has become more in the way because of this. He only remains a member out of fear of leaving. So in the end Vexen is killed because he learns of Marluxias "plan" to use Sora. So Marluxia wanting Vexen to find out nothing more of his real plans has Axel kill him but this not pleasing to Marluxia as he views Vexen as someone who could be won over to his real plan. Thus Vexen meets his end. Lexaeus is another that simply met his end trying to be loyal. I believe he was sent to Castle Oblivion because Xemnas viewed him loyal to Zexion alone. My proof. Lexaeus states that he is aware that he has no idea of any ones real goals but he says Zexion is the only one he can trust. Because Alaeus knew Ienzo as a child so he felt he must protect him & could trust him alone. Lexaeus states this in a report in one of the games, either 358/2 days or com. Lexaeus' death was part of only Xemnas' plan. As Ansem is the one who ended him because they needed Riku alive & knew Lexaeus was loyal to Zexion & if something would happen to him then Lexaeus would be ablaze in anger. And Xemnas needed something to happen to Zexion. So Lexaeus had to go. Zexion, I will come out & say it, I believe Ienzo is Blaine & but lost his memory during time travel much like Terra/Xehanort did when he suffered a large amount of damage at the end of BBS. I believe because of his loss of memory he carried on with life with the other scientists until they all became nobodies & only then did he regain his memory but by that time it was too he had already lost his heart, it was too late he needed a heart. Whats up with the age then? Ven & Blaine are teens in Unchained but are both different ages in BBS because the time travel messed with their ages. Ven appears at the start of the game as a baby when Xehanort found him & Ienzo appears as a child. In com Zexion figures out the plans of all the players. I believe he was sent there there because him & Marluxia figured out Xemnas' plan, Saix & Axels plan, & maybe even Xigbars plan. I believe they both joined the Organization because they both had lost their heart & at first believed that Xemnas really was trying to get all of the hearts back for the XIII but it was not until after they figured out all the players at work here that they chose to turn but was discovered so they were sent to Castle Oblivion on different floors as a way of making sure they could not make much progress in turning on the Organization. Zexion never intened or wanted Lexaeus or Vexen to die but once Vexen found out all that was going on Zxeion seemed to know Vexen would be felled. Lexaeus on the other hand seemed to surprise Zexion that he had passed. Most likely because Lexaeus had won the fight had it not been for Ansem. Zexion & Marluxia were clearly not pleased with the deaths of their team. Marluxia was sent their for the same reasons as Zexion but I believe it is all but confirmed that he is Lauriam in Unchained. Which both him & Blaine are in the same faction which I believe Lauriam & Blaine staged the death of another member to get Lauriam in. Why did he not appear in BBS then? Because he was placed in a different world after the time travel & spent the time during BBS looking for Blaine. And it was not until they both lost their heart that they found each other. So when Zexion & Marluxia were found out they realized they would need a plan which worked out perfectly because they wanted to find Ventus to wake him which is locked in a room somewhere in Castle Oblivion. I believe they leaked that Marluxia was the head of the turncoats because they needed to be sent their to carry out their plan. Which was to lure Sora to the Castle & use Namine to wake Ven who is connected to Soras heart. Its unclear Zexion & Marluxias true motives but clearly they either need Ven so they are free from the Organizations hand or for some other reason but they clearly need Ven. Axel I believe was ordered to kill all of the ones stationed at Castle Oblivion, how he did it I believe he came up with it on the fly. Vexen was clearly a goner once he found out what everyone was up to. Axel avoided Lexaeus & Zexion until Lexaeus had passed because Axel knew Lexaeus would defeat him & protect Zexion. Axel knew letting Namine go would make Larxene go after her which of course crossed her path with Sora for the last time. And Axel seemed to believe he was going to have to kill Marluxia himself until Sora came in & did the job for him. Axel then waited & used Riku Replica to strangle a weaken Zexion until he faded. Which leaves Larxene. I believe once Zexion & Marluxia leaked Marluxia turning in order that they were sent to Castle Oblivion they knew they would need a way to leak it so they had Marluxia ask Larxene who feels disrespected by Xemnas & the above members to join which allowed Xigbar to overhear this & inform Xemnas. Which we know Xigbar listens to conversations based on a scene in 2 remix with Zexion which Zexion states that he knows whats in the chamber of repose & Xigbar suggests that Zexion knows of the place where the other friend is, since we know Aquas armor is in the chamber of repose then the other friend must be Ven who we know was locked away at Castle Oblivion. wrapping up the entire theory in neat bow. This seems mostly inferred from closer inspection but I admit I did have to connect a few dots but I feel most of this is likely. Thoughts?
  15. If you don't want to get spoiled by the latest story advancements in the JP version of KHUX, then stop reading. There's some interesting little details I've noticed about the latest story advancements with Lauriam (Marluxia's Somebody) and Strelitzia. Here's what we know for sure: Strelitzia was killed by someone. And Lauriam showed up at the Keyblade Graveyard as the last Dandelion Union Leader. The general consensus is that Lauriam is who killed Strelitzia, but we don't know that for sure. Many people say it could've been Blaine or that it could've been someone completely unrelated who's watching from behind the scenes who then told Ventus he was a Dandelion Union Leader, when he actually wasn't. I've noticed an interesting detail that might put to rest these theories and will further validate the general consensus of the murderer being Lauriam. There are people getting upset about the fact that Marluxia's Somebody is in this game because it means that he's a Keyblade wielder. He's a Dandelion Union Leader, which means he has a Keyblade, right? Wrong. Maybe he was never able to summon a Keyblade and become a Dandelion or even a Union member, he was just an ordinary resident of Daybreak Town, so he killed Strelitzia and took her place to force himself into the Dandelions to try and become a Keyblade wielder. Assuming he's the one who killed her. "The Keyblade's power-- how I've longed to make it my own." - Marluxia in Re:Chain of Memories Another reason people say that he is a Keyblade wielder is because of the noise of the weapon that killed Strelitzia. People are saying it's the typical noise you hear from a Keyblade slash. And this brings me to my point. The small, but interesting detail I've noticed. That is not the Keyblade slash noise. Listen to it closely. Sound familiar? Compare it to this. And another interesting thing I've noticed is that the hairclip on Strelitzia's hair is the roman numeral for the number 11. Marluxia is the number 11 in Organization XIII. Nomura warned us all this time. (Source for the hairclip info.)

  17. As we all know, Marluxia's lesser Nobodies have been confirmed to be residing in The Kingdom of Coronia (the Tangled world). Question is, do you personally believe that Marluxia will be involved with the events of the Tangled world? I was fairly dismissive about Marluxia being a Seeker of Darkness at first, after all, he wanted to overthrow Xemnas. However, upon contemplating deeper, Xemnas is no longer the head honcho of the Seekers of Darkness. Because of that, Marluxia may have been willing to compromise his heart for to wield a Keyblade for himself and get Norted after being returned as a somebody. Plus, his element is floral and nature. Tangled is a movie that revolves around The Golden Flower (and consequently, Rapunzel). Put two and two together and you can naturally see his involvement in the world.
  18. So obviously, we haven't met the original personas of the non-RG Org13 members. Do you think we'll meet them again in KHIII? Will they be in separate worlds, or the same one? Are they from a world we've been to before? Will they be antagonists or allies? What would their aims be? How would they react to seeing Sora again? Would they still be able to use their powers? And obviously, what could their names be? I have so many questions about this group, and I really hope we get answers to these during KHIII. I'd personally love to see them in their normal outfits, out of their cloaks. What about you guys?

  20. Keep in mind, I haven't done watercolors in YEARS. I never really worked with watercolor before that, either. So when I was told to work on a Kingdom Hearts watercolor as a challenge, you can tell I might have been a bit nervous/worried about the outcome. Besides, you guys know me, I do digital art, not watercolor! BUT...with time and dedication, I was actually able to work on it to a point where it came out wonderfully. I didn't finish the zipper or the pillars, sadly, and now I can't because the person who challenged me is no longer in contact. But I think it turned out great considering I have no real experience in watercolor.
  21. Master Xehanort Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Xemnas Young Xehanort Xigbar (Wields Unicornis Keyblade) Saix (Wields Anguis Keyblade) Luxord (Wields Leopardos Keyblade) Marluxia (Wields Vulpeus Keyblade) Terranort (Wields Ursus Keyblade) Ephemera Skuld Vanitas Xion (Wields End of Pain Keyblade) I suppose there’s inevitable questions in the way I have ordered the Seeker of Darkness. So, I’ll do my best to try and answer them. 1) Why do some of the Seekers have Foreteller keyblades? Surely they’d have keyblades of their own? Yes, that is a possibility, however, hear me out, the Keyblades of the Foretellers have the Eye of Darkness. Aside the foretellers, Xehanort and people who have closely worked with him or his incarnation (Vanitas/Riku) are only other characters with Keyblades that have the eye of Darkness. My theory is that Xehanort provides these Seekers with their respected Keyblades by using the Eye of Darkness to summon the Foreteller keyblades to them using his ancient Keyblade. After all, it is the initial reason why Braig joined Xehanort’s cause. He wanted a Keyblade of his own. And as far as Vanitas goes, he probably switched his Keyblade as the Foreteller Keyblade is inevitably stronger than the Keyblade that he currently posses. 2) Why is Marluxia in the list? To be a vessel for Xehanort, you don’t have to be willing to Xehanort’s cause to be a vessel. Sora was going to be a Seeker of Darkness at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D before he was saved. In the Keyblade Graveyard, Terra tried to stop Master Xehanort from using his body as a vessel by deflecting it with his armour, but, it was too late. Plus, in recent interviews, Nomura has hinted that Marluxia is dabbling in The Kingdom of Coronia (as hinted by the nobodies that reside there). Nomura has also said in interviews that the Disney worlds are more linked to the overall narrative of Kingdom Hearts as opposed to being secluded to the movie's narrative. Maybe he's hunting down the King and Queen of Coronia because they have valuable information or has an interest in Rapunzel's healing powers (I digress, let me go back to my initial topic). 3) Why is Ephemera and Skuld members? They never existed during Xehanort's time? Well, there’s one of two hypothetical scenarios in which Ephemera and Skuld could end up being a seeker. Scenario 1 would be that these three may be simulations that enter the real world. In Re: Coded, Data Sora grew a heart when Donald and Goofy tried to protect him from Pete in digital Hollow Bastion. In Kingdom Hearts II, we see heartless invading Radiant Garden that came from Space Paranoids: proving that transference from the digital world to the real world is possible. Scenario 2 is that a version of Xehanort existed during the time of Kingdom Hearts X (presumably delving into the Unchained realm) and somehow transferred his heart to them in order to transform them into Seekers. 4) Why is Xion the final member? isn't she resting in Sora's heart? Yes, she is. However, my theory with Xion is that, during 358/2 Days, when Xemnas was modifying an unconscious Xion, Xemnas placed a fraction of his into her (hence Xion providing the message to tell Roxas to stop Xemnas gaining hearts before she fades). But then that begs the question, why is Sora not norted if Xion is resting in her? Simple: because only Xion mind and heart is in Sora, Xion's body was never a definitive body to begin with: she was a literal puppet. Riku sees Xion's body as Sora and Xigbar sees Xion's body as Ventus. Her synthetic body was the only element of her that never belonged to Sora. Her mind and heart were extensions of Sora's: her body was artificially created from Xion's mind and heart.
