  1. Alright so, I think I've solved some of the main mysteries regarding the series around the world of union cross but I'm no expert so if I missed anything or you could add to the discussion that would be great, but I really think I'm on to something here So, what we know so far, the world of Union Cross is a virtual replica of the world of Chi which is the actual story of the events that led to the keyblade war of old then after the world perished and was reborn the the data of what happened was used in creating a virtual copy which would be used to study that history and how to prevent that scenario from happening. After the events of the war take place in Union Cross we start meeting new characters that weren't present in the original Chi, the first one we want to focus on is Ventus, for obvious reasons, we know he comes from a time that's definitely after the keyblade war, after the worlds were reborn and separated so how is he back? another charater we meet is Lauriam the original Marluxia(and just now we were introduced to Erlena who later becomes Larxene) what's important about Lauriam is that he looks noticeably younger than Marluxia (we know people may change a bit when they become nobodies but nothing as drastic as aging 10 years) so I believe Lauriam is the key to connecting Ventus to this era, we have just been looking at it backwards. It is not that Ven traveled back in time, but the world of Union Cross was created much much later, specifically around the Birth By Sleep Era, there is a lot of evidence that leads me to believe this is the case like This would place Lauriam in the correct age range (he was probably born around the same time as Isa & Lea, whose younger selves we met during BBS) Ventus is shown in his BBS clothes except missing one thing, his should pauldron which he uses to summon his armor, but! there is one instance during Birth By Sleep where he was seen wearing no pauldron, during his time training with Master Xehanort to extract his darkness before his heart is fractured and falls in a coma This takes place during a flashback and there is an unespecified amount of time that takes place during the gap between Ventus' heart being fractued and his arrival to the land of departure, it was shown that Xehanort was ready to give up on Ven waking up and took him to destiny islands to die I propose that during that gap Ven was used to experiment and research the new virtual world that was developed, but who created that world? Xehanort in an attempt to unlock the secrets of the past? No, he has never been shown to be know about creating that sort of thing, but we know of another character who has done just that, recreate worlds in the datascape and transport people there without them even knowing it I believe Ansem the Wise created the world of Union Cross, true he has never been shown talking about the keyblade war but I think he is more connected to the past than we know, first of all, he is ansem the WISE, king of radiant garden, so it would make sense for a wise king to know about the events of the past that regular people ignore, even Kairi's grandma knew a bit about how the world ended and was reborn so it is confirmed that knowledge of the old world reached radiant garden at least in some form So, Ansem the Wise managed to get a hold of Ven's body for a while, scanned him and added him to the world, maybe he thought that as a keyblade weilder his heart would help his simulated world be more accurate Here's where I must say I DO NOT CLAIM TO KNOW HOW ANSEM THE WISE GOT A HOLD OF VENTUS, maybe Xehanort, having his own desire to know about the past allowed the experiment to take place and after he Ventus could no longer be useful, that's when he took him to destiny islands (Xehanort would obviously have to hide his identity since when Ansem find the amnesiac Terra-nort and hears his name he does not react to it, and it would make sense, Xehanort wouldn't like others, like Eraqus, discover what he was doing) Earlier I said Ansem the Wise (ATW) may know more about the world before the keyblade war than he lets on and that there is something else that connects him to the past, something that I noticed long ago but couldn't find a solid reason for it to exist in such detail During Kingdom Hearts we not only learn about ATW's knowledge of creating virtual worlds and encoding real world objects into data, we learn that the old mansion in twilight town serves as his hideout/research lab but if we explore the place and pay attention to it's surroundings we can find something peculiar, all around the mansions we see iconography of something very important, we see images and sculptures of unicorns adorning the whole placethe unicorn being the symbol of one of the foretellers in chi/union cross So what if ATW in his research over the years found this information and tried to learn more about this old world (maybe he believed Ira as the Leader would be the one who held the answers so he aligned himself with his union) Skipping over a bit, during the new cutscene added to Re:Coded we see Maleficent talk about the similarities to between the datascape and the tome of prophecies and a few weeks ago we discovered that the Maleficent in UC is not a virtual character but the true maleficent, whose heart traveled back in time after being defeated in KH1 and is trying to change her fate, but instead of traveling to her true past she was (somehow) trapped in a virtual past by a hooded character refering to himself only as "darkness", since they don't want her interfering with the future and the plans they have, this had led many to believe this "darkness" to be Xehanort since he knows about time travel and has big plans in store, but I don't think that's the case, I believe, again this darkness is our man, Ansem the Wise, he also has been conducting research all this time and would want an uncontrolled outside force to interfere with it, and taking care of the easy one, the figure calls himself "Darkness", what other name has Ansem given himself? DiZ: DARKNESS in Zero So Ansem as the administrator of this virtual world would have no problem in controlling anyone inside his world/software this would help his research to continue on. And I believe this research, this knowledge of the past studied to prevent a future disaster is the very same research that has been alluded by him all these games, the very same research that he hid inside Sora while he was asleep, the knowledge to finding yourself or your lost friends in your hour of need Back to Maleficent, we know she traveled back in time and I stated how the world of UC was created around the time of BBS, but we don't really know how long it lasted so it could be that, maleficent traveled back to the time of BBS trying to undo her defeat during that game, but was trapped in a virtual world by Ansem and during the time she spent there the other events of BBS took place and then the betrayl by Xehanort and the other apprentices, when ATW was betrayed and sent to the realm of darkness that's when Maleficent, without Ansem eye on her, was able to escape and return to the real world, to the time of KH2 So in conclusion Ansem the wise wanted to know more about the keyblade war in order to prevent it and protect all worlds, using the knowledge he gathered over the years he created a virtual simulation of that era (probably thanks to Xehanort's own plans) added Ventus in an effort to enhance the world by adding a true keyblade weilder, Lauriam and Erlena were also added (we could think of them as a sort of Beta testers), they might've lost their hearts at the end of the simulation in whatever way that happens, at the same time Maleficent is trapped in the virtual world by Ansem to prevent her from changing history, the simulation continues, Xehanort takes Ventus back to destiny islands and the events of the games take place from BBS to KH2 by this time ATW has been sent to the realm of darkness and returned as DiZ, maleficent escapes the datascape (because UC is just another datascape, that's why the world of the journal in Re:Coded seems familiary to her) and Ansem after experiencing all he has, and gaining all that knowledge over the years, takes his data and places it inside a sleeping Sora, hoping that somehow the experiences of the past help save the future PHEW.... so that's it. I know some parts are out of order but im writting all this from ideas I had on my head and giving it structure as I go on, I hope you found in interesting and bring forth your own ideas about what you think I got right or not so right Thans for reading! May your heart be your guiding key

  3. (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here.) To start this off, I will first have to explain the differences between all of the "χ" titles of Kingdom Hearts games: Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] was a Japanese-only browser game that is now discontinued. So, in order to experience this title, you can watch all of the story-related cutscenes translated to English in the YouTube playlist here. You can also watch a full English translated playthrough in the YouTube playlist here. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ was the name of an iOS and Android smartphone game before it got rebranded to "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]." Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is essentially a rebranding of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. You don't have to get Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, because by getting Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], you are getting Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, since it's a part of the title. They renamed the app to "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]" to help promote the "season two" of the game, which is titled "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]." Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover is a movie included in the Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue HD collection for the PlayStation 4. Yes, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] are all different titles. They are not remakes or remasters of each other. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is a rebranding of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, as well as the name of the "season two" of the game. Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover is a movie that tells some of the story of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], but through the perspective of different characters. These things makes all of these separate Kingdom Hearts titles. It's sort of difficult to explain how Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]without spoiling things, so here's an explanation that's light on spoilers and one that's heavy on spoilers: Spoiler-light explanation: Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], because at the end of the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], something happened to the characters which causes them to go through their entire journey again, except without the finale (the Keyblade War). Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is you playing as the character from the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] going through their entire journey again, except without the finale. So, as you can see, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ sort of acts as a mobile port of the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], as well as a sequel to it. The "season two" of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, called "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]" continues the game from after the characters have completed going through their entire journey a second time. Spoiler-heavy explanation: A part of Ava's role given to her by The Master of Masters is to divide the Dandelions into five different Unions with their own Union leaders, just like how the Foretellers were the Union leaders of five different Unions. The five Dandelion Union Leaders are Ephemer, Skuld, Ventus, Brain, and Strelitzia. Marluxia's original self, Lauriam, has killed Strelitzia, took her copy of the Dandelion Union Leader rule book, and then took her spot among the Dandelion Union Leaders. They are to go into the Unchained realm (the realm of sleep) in order to prepare for the world after and to forget their moments of tragedy (their memories of the Keyblade War). To make this happen, the Chirithys owned by the Dandelions will bring their owners into the Unchained realm (they're Dream Eaters, so they can do this) and they have to lie to the Dandelions and say that the Keyblade War was just a dream and they can't tell them they're in the Unchained realm. This is all to make them forget their moments of tragedy because those memories won't be needed in the world after, according to The Master of Masters. The only people who know about these lies that they have to tell the Dandelions are the Dandelion Union Leaders, Ava, The Master of Masters, and the Chirithys. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] that takes place in the Unchained realm. During the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], the Dandelions (as well as the soon to be Dandelion Union Leaders) went into the Unchained realm. The Dandelion Union Leaders then left the Unchained realm and came back to the real world after the Keyblade War ended, while the rest of the Dandelions stayed in the Unchained realm. The Player survived the Keyblade War, and Ephemer and Skuld decided to make the Player a late Dandelion. The Player's Chirithy took the Player to the Unchained realm and had them forget what happened. Now, this is when Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ begins. There, in the Unchained realm, the Player and all the Dandelions are repeating their entire journey from the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] over again in order to have them forget the Keyblade War and make it seem like it was just a dream. They're within their own dreams, just like how Sora was within his own dreams near the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Now, in the "season two" of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, called "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]," the Player and the Dandelions have finally caught up with and gone through their entire journey from the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] over again (except without the Keyblade War). The Player has begun getting flashbacks from the Keyblade War. They think it's just from a dream though. The group of Dandelion Union Leaders go from the Keyblade Graveyard back to Daybreak Town and decide to celebrate by providing new Spirits for the Dandelions. Ephemer goes with Skuld and Ventus to collect the necessary ingredients, while Brain and Lauriam stay behind in order to prepare. Soon after, a Chirithy approaches the Player and, using some of Player's Chirithy's fur, creates a "pet" Spirit for them. In the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], the Foretellers used the Book of Prophecies to conjure up illusions/projections of worlds of the future. These are the Disney worlds in the game. In these projected worlds, the Keyblade wielders are to destroy Heartless (which are also conjured up projections from the future) in order to gather Lux (light) from the future. In the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], all of the Disney worlds that the characters go to, all of the Disney characters that the characters meet, and all of the Heartless (except for Darklings) are just illusions/projections conjured up by the Book of Prophecies. Since The Master of Masters and Luxu both disappeared and the Foretellers (presumably) died in the Keyblade War, there is no one to conjure up the illusory worlds of the future any more. So, The Master of Masters created data versions of the worlds in advance. The worlds that the Dandelions are going to in the Unchained realm are these data worlds. Maleficent was stabbed by the Keyblade of Heart by Riku in the first Kingdom Hearts. This gave her the ability to time travel. So, she time traveled to the past in order to try and rewrite history and make it so she wasn't defeated. She time traveled to after the Keyblade War and ended up in the data version of Enchanted Dominion. A data version of herself exists there, so she was able to time travel there. She was unaware that it was a data world until a shadowy figure calling himself "Darkness" pointed it out to her. He explained that The Master of Masters knew she was going to do this, and prepared the data version of Enchanted Dominion to trap her in in advance, so that she would not be in the real world. He does not want her in the real world since she possesses memories and knowledge of the future. "Darkness" then explains to her that she needs to return to her own time. If you would like to know how time travel works and how Maleficent was able to time travel since she was stabbed by a Keyblade, you can check out my "Time Travel Explained" post here. And if you would like to know more about the Unchained realm (the realm of sleep), you can check out my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post here. Here's a simple step-by-step of what you should do to experience the entire "χ" story: 1.) Watch the story-related cutscenes for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] translated to English. You can watch them in the YouTube playlist here. You can also watch a full English translated playthrough in the YouTube playlist here. 2.) Watch the Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover movie that's included in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. If you've already seen it, then watch it again since it will now make a lot more sense after watching the story-related cutscenes for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. 3.) Watch the first cutscene in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. This cutscene with Luxu takes place after Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover. If you've already seen it, then take a look at it again since it will make a lot more sense now. 4.) Download Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] for iOS or Android. 5.) Play Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] for iOS or Android. If you don't want to play it, then you can just watch the cutscenes. It's very repetitive and long, so I understand if you don't want to play it, but I recommend giving it a shot. If you don't like it and decide to just watch the story-related cutscenes, then you can watch them in the YouTube playlist here. The game is still ongoing, so I will update that playlist whenever new story-related cutscenes come out. And that's it!
  4. "...13 years have passed since the ending of the 2nd Keyblade War...the 7 Guardians of Light, led by Sora had at last vanquished the 13 Seekers of Darkness, led by Xehanort and had restored true equilibrium by locking away the true Kingdom Hearts upon destroying the true Chi-Blade, thus ensuring that neither both Light nor Darkness can reign supreme over one of the other side... However...there will always be those seeking to obtain Kingdom Hearts for themselves and thus, in order to prevent the reconstruction of the Chi-Blade once more, Sora and those that had survived the events of the Keyblade War, himself, Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Roxas, Lea, Xion, Namine, Ventus, Terra and Aqua had all agreed to create a new "Keyblade Academy" to train future wielders of the Keyblade, should forces of either the Dark or even Light itself attempt to recreate the Chi-Blade for whatever reasons they have in mind...the Keyblade Academy is built in the capital of Light, Radiant Garden, where here, everyone who is allied with Sora, the hero of the last great Keyblade War can keep watch over who is worthy to wield the Keyblade and fight in its name to protect the balance of all things, living and/or otherwise...that which is known...as Kingdom Hearts...the Heart, of all Worlds and people... 13 years have passed...a new generation has taken up the Keyblade and are now prepared to embark on a new adventure the likes of which no one has ever seen before, battling against evildoers that would threaten peace loving citizens, join us, as we see these all brand new Keyblade heroes in action!" 5. Tagline: "...Our battle is over...but the war...has only just begun." Synopsis: Three and a half years have passed since the events of KINGDOM HEARTS III, in which Sora, aided by his fellow Guardians of Light had defeated both Master Xehanort and his Organization XIII comprised of various incarnations of himself and now, the Worlds are at peace, however...that does not mean that peace lasts forever, for now a both strange and mysterious new threat is attacking the universe and it is up to both Sora and friends to stop it, along the way they meet both old and new friends alike, exploring various and vast new Worlds unlike which they have ever seen beforehand, mastering new spells and abilities and also for Sora, gaining new Keyblades to fight with, as Sora begins this new adventure of his, he soon discovers that this new threat that is trying to destroy the galaxy is related in more ways then one to the legendary Keyblade War, of which Xehanort was trying to restart and had ultimately failed to do so, thanks to Sora and the others' efforts, at any rate, this new threat may very well be trying to get its hands on the one true χ-Blade, in order to unlock the mysteries of its counterpart, the one true Kingdom Hearts, to in turn become a god above both everything and everyone...in an attempt to stop this evil menace, Sora travels with both Donald Duck and Goofy once more to find out more about the enemy that they are currently facing whilst both Riku and King Mickey Mouse don the Black Coats of Organization XIII once more and travel across the Worlds through the Corridors of Darkness, attempting their own investigation into matters from their side, meanwhile, Master Yen Sid has both Kairi and Lea undertake the Mark of Mastery Exam, in the hopes that just like Sora and Riku beforehand will the two master new powers to combat this new threat, aiding in the training of the two are Merlin and the three good fairies, as requested their help by Yen Sid, in the meantime, Maleficent and Pete are up to their no good tricks again and are attempting to reassemble the council of Disney villains from the original KINGDOM Hearts to further their own goals of universal domination, Ventus, Terra and Aqua are on standby at the newly restored Land of Departure until given further orders by the revived Master Eraqus, Roxas, Axel, Xion and Namine are also on standby with Pence, Hayner and Olette in Twilight Town at the old mansion, finally, the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, along with the somebodies of Dilan, Even, Aeleus, Ienzo and the redeemed Isa, as well, as Ansem the Wise, having been restored to the wise sage and ruler of Radiant Garden are currently looking into matters regarding research on this new foe that everyone is now faced with... This new foe is said to be just about, as dangerous, as Xehanort was...maybe, even more so...aided by four henchmen, this new enemy and his servants don white versions of Organization XIII's Black Coats and all together call themselves the "Illuminati", the Illuminati lead creatures that feed off positive energy and vibes that they refer to, as the "Versed", said to be the exact opposites of the Unversed themselves, the Versed are easily identified by having the very same symbol, as the Unversed do upon their bodies, the only difference being that the colour for the Versed is white instead of the Unversed's black, a possible hint into the identity of who these new enemies are, namely their leader, as he bares a Unversed symbol zipper on his white coat, he calls himself "χ-Super" and under his white coat's hood, he is shown to wear a variation of Vanitas' helmet but with a large X across the helmet's face, whatever his intentions are currently unknown but he states that he will bring about what he calls the "Versus XIII" and whatever this means, most people tend to take it, as to him meaning that he is going to form another Organization XIII like Xehanort previously did in the past twice and is attempting to recreate the Keyblade War, now, on a mission to stop this possible raving lunatic, Sora and friends, old and new battle Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, Dream Eaters and these new Versed monsters across all of the realms a person can think of and finally, the story that began with Xehanort's ambition will end once and for all here, at least that is what is going through Sora's mind at the moment but still he ponders, is there more to this Versus XIII? what exactly does it mean? all will be explained... This is KINGDOM HEARTS IV-The free Role-Play for everyone where they can experiment on what life would be like after the events of the Xehanort/Dark Seeker Saga have ended, please share with me your opinions on the story before i continue making the Character Sheets and Rules.
  6. If you don't want to get spoiled by the latest story advancements in the JP version of KHUX, then stop reading. There's some interesting little details I've noticed about the latest story advancements with Lauriam (Marluxia's Somebody) and Strelitzia. Here's what we know for sure: Strelitzia was killed by someone. And Lauriam showed up at the Keyblade Graveyard as the last Dandelion Union Leader. The general consensus is that Lauriam is who killed Strelitzia, but we don't know that for sure. Many people say it could've been Blaine or that it could've been someone completely unrelated who's watching from behind the scenes who then told Ventus he was a Dandelion Union Leader, when he actually wasn't. I've noticed an interesting detail that might put to rest these theories and will further validate the general consensus of the murderer being Lauriam. There are people getting upset about the fact that Marluxia's Somebody is in this game because it means that he's a Keyblade wielder. He's a Dandelion Union Leader, which means he has a Keyblade, right? Wrong. Maybe he was never able to summon a Keyblade and become a Dandelion or even a Union member, he was just an ordinary resident of Daybreak Town, so he killed Strelitzia and took her place to force himself into the Dandelions to try and become a Keyblade wielder. Assuming he's the one who killed her. "The Keyblade's power-- how I've longed to make it my own." - Marluxia in Re:Chain of Memories Another reason people say that he is a Keyblade wielder is because of the noise of the weapon that killed Strelitzia. People are saying it's the typical noise you hear from a Keyblade slash. And this brings me to my point. The small, but interesting detail I've noticed. That is not the Keyblade slash noise. Listen to it closely. Sound familiar? Compare it to this. And another interesting thing I've noticed is that the hairclip on Strelitzia's hair is the roman numeral for the number 11. Marluxia is the number 11 in Organization XIII. Nomura warned us all this time. (Source for the hairclip info.)
  7. Thanks to the newest KHUX Quests, we now know that you do not need to have prior knowledge about KHX in order to understand KHUX, because they are starting to put flashbacks of KHX in the game, and some of them are even playable. For those who don't know, KHUX is actually technically a sequel to KHX. At the end of KHX, the Player got brought to the Unchained realm and has to relive their entire journey of KHX once again, except without the moments of tragedy (the Keyblade War). This happens to all of the Dandelions. The entirety of KHUX has been the Player reliving their journey from KHX, which means it's a sequel. Since this is the case, I, along with many other people, were worried that this would mean that you would have to have prior knowledge about KHX in order to understand KHUX, which would be completely unreasonable for the average KH fan who's already struggling to understand the lore. But, since they are putting flashbacks to what happened before, KHX is no longer needed! It would probably help to have prior knowledge about KHX since I doubt the flashbacks will show absolutely everything that happened, but for the most part, all you have to do in order to understand the X story is to play KHUX and watch X Back Cover!
  8. I'll explain the Sleeping Worlds/the realm of sleep. (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here.) All the "realm of sleep" is, is dreams. Worlds can dream and people can dream. When a world falls to darkness/goes to the Realm of Darkness, they also fall asleep and they dream. The worlds we go to in Dream Drop Distance are dreams of worlds that were freed from darkness, but were not freed from their sleep. Yen Sid sent Sora and Riku back in time to Destiny Islands before it fell to darkness, so that they could sort of "ride" Destiny Islands into darkness, therefore ride it into sleep. Once they rode it into sleep and fell asleep, they unknowingly opened the first Sleeping Keyhole and were transported to the next Sleeping World/the first Sleeping World from the present-day that they need to save. When this happened, Riku unknowingly dove into Sora's dreams and became a Spirit Dream Eater to protect him from Nightmares. So, throughout the game, Sora is in the dreams of the worlds that fell to darkness, but didn't wake from their sleep, and Riku is in Sora's dreams. Things change when they get to The World That Never Was though. The World That Never Was is not a Sleeping World. It's a real world in the Realm Between. There's a cutscene where Yen Sid says that Sora and Riku will eventually end up out of the Sleeping Worlds and into a world that's in the Realm Between. That world was The World That Never Was. It's not a Sleeping World, but when Riku arrived there, he was still in the realm of sleep since he was still in Sora's dreams and has been the whole journey. After Riku defeats Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, he's brought back to the real world and out of the realm of sleep. When Sora arrived at The World That Never Was, he was in the real world and out of the dream. But, Young Xehanort dragged Sora back into the realm of sleep, but this time, he dragged Sora into Sora's own dreams instead of the world's dreams. Then, Xigbar dragged Sora into a second sleep. So, Sora's sleeping body was in Sora's own dreams which is why Riku saw it before he fought Anti Black Coat. Anyways, after Young Xehanort successfully puts Sora into a weird sleep coma by dragging him further and further into dreams, he brings him back to the real world and places him on one of the Organization XIII thrones. Riku still had his Dream Eaters and his Dream Eater powers in the real world of The World That Never Was because Sora was still asleep. He still had a weird Dream Eater connection to him. Nomura said The Mysterious Tower drifts around and doesn't stay in the same place. The Mysterious Tower used to be a part of a world called Symphony of Sorcery. It's drifted away from that world a long time ago though. The world "Symphony of Sorcery" is a Sleeping World. The reason The Mysterious Tower shows up in that world is because the dream is filling in the gaps, just like it fills in the gaps with characters. The Grid is a digital world inside of a computer in a world that we don't know the name of. The world that Sam Flynn is from. Just like how Space Paranoids is a digital world inside of a computer in Radiant Garden. Space Paranoids is a copy of The Grid made by Ansem the Wise. The reason Space Paranoids looks so different than The Grid though is because he copied it a long time ago. Space Paranoids is what The Grid used to look like. The Grid is not a Sleeping World, but the world it's attached to/the world it's a computer on, is a Sleeping World. Which is why Dream Eaters show up there. Country of the Musketeers is simply a world Mickey, Donald, and Goofy traveled to on their adventures. Minnie used to be a resident there, and she later moved to Disney Town to be with Mickey. Also, the Robed Figure was there on Destiny Islands in the first Kingdom Hearts so that he could mark the time traveling Sora with the Recusant's Sigil and so that Young Xehanort can time travel to where the Robed Figure is and follow Sora and Riku into the realm of sleep. So, now that Sora was marked with the Recusant's Sigil and now that Young Xehanort was in the same time period as Sora, he was able to teleport to wherever he was. Oh, and we now know that the official name for the realm of sleep is "Unchained." In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, it was called many different things, it seemed to not have an official name. It was actually called "the realm of sleep" only once. So, yeah, it's the "Unchained" realm.
  9. Hi everyone! Name's Jack. New to the forums but long time reader. So I have been attempting to come up with a theory as to why Ventus has a connection to the time and world of Unchained Chi based on a few assumptions. My hope is to tie this to other story points in the series that can back this up. Without further ado, let's get into it. So for my theory to work, the idea that Unchained Chi is a "sleeping world" is important. Whatever form that is (within the Book of Prophecies, within the Realm of Sleep, etc.), we are essentially in a dream world. That's what I'm going to assume. Anyone remember the original "Fragmentary Passage" reveal from BBS:FM? The game that essentially became 2.8 that Nomura wanted to make but couldn't at the time? In that cinematic, we see several things (Mickey in the RoD, Donald and Goofy in Traverse Town, etc.), but one thing that was always confounding for me is Ventus literally disappearing form the Chamber of Waking (along with Sora, but that's a different point). This was never truly touched on by any game but keep this moment in mind. We know your entire physical being needs to go to the Realm of Sleep (not just you taking a snooze and your mind goes there). We also know that Ventus's armor went to Sora to protect him from falling into darkness in DDD. There's also that moment where, when Sora is greeted by the Dream Eaters in DDD, Ventus is shown smiling in the Chamber of Waking With all that in mind, here's my theory: I believe that Ventus, right at the end of DDD, has actually entered the dream world of Unchained Chi much like Sora and Riku did for their Mark of Mastery in order to "wake up" the world and any relevant characters from that time. Ventus literally leaves the Chamber of Waking (even for just a while) thanks to Sora entering the Realm of Sleep to do his own little adventure. The armor is gone because he used it to protect Sora. He looks younger similarly to how Sora and Riku were affected by the Realm of Sleep. Ventus isn't just a couch potato in a coma. He's actually DOING something to help everyone out and they don't even know it. This literally has nothing to do with Master Xehanort or Ven actually being from that time (we see the actual events and that he's not there in the Browser Chi). He's taking an alternate route to influence this world much like Sora and company have time and time again. Whether or not he's doing it on purpose, I believe his actions are what will change the course to avoid the tragedy of the Keyblade War and possibly the loss of characters like the Foretellers. Now, this theory is still as of 3/21 with Union X coming out 3/23 so it's very possible this will all be moot, and the reveal of those other 2 Union characters may change everything too, but for now I feel like this is a better perspective than the casual viewer saying "Ven's from that far in the past!?!?!" And again, this is assuming the rules of this series actually hold water with the Realm of Sleep and what we've been told so far. Please let me know what you think of this theory and any holes you think might be in it.
  10. So, a crack theory occured to me the other day. It's very very crack-y and doesn't make a lot of sense, but I thought it was an interesting thought nonetheless. We know from Birth by Sleep that the X-blade can be forged through a high intensity clash of two opposite poles of pure light and pure darkness. Note that when we saw Ventus-Vanitas fused in BBS, it was heavily implied (and I believe even outright stated by Xehanort), that they literally WERE the X-Blade. When Ventus defeats Vanitas and rips apart both of their hearts, the X-blade is destroyed. This hints towards the X-blade being a sentient entity, or at least having the potential to be one. a combination of two hearts of equal and opposite light and darkness. With this in mind, what if we assume that the same could be said for the original X-blade? That the original X-blade from the Age of Fairytales was also a sentient entity, potentially formed from a high intensity clash of two hearts of pure light and pure darkness? And that the sentient entity succeeded in it's completion? If this is the case, then is there a faint possibility that this entity could be a certain sassy Master of Masters? The master of masters acts bizarrely neutral in the face of something incredibly dreadful like the Keyblade war - could this be due to his heart being a perfect balance of pure light and darkness? And he has unexplained, supernatural powers of precognition involving the "blue eye" engraved into No Name's blade (and possibly the blue eyes found on the keychains and in the blade of other Keyblades + soul eater). Keyblades were originally created in the image of the original X-blade - what if the keyblades were created from the Master of Master in his own image? The box the MoM gives Luxu at the end of back cover has a symbol with seven spikes on it's inner walls and 13 spikes upon it's outer walls, and has the words "XSuper" on it. There are many theories on what this could mean: The MoM's nobody is in there, the X-blade is in there, ya boy Ventus is sleeping in there, etc. etc., and I do think that the X-blade is indeed inside, but I also think that there could be a bit more meaning to the name on the box than meets the eye. "'χ'... A most ancient letter. Some say 'kye,' but the meaning is the same. Death... A letter that spells endings. —Master Xehanort It is heavily implied from the names of the 6 other foretellers, along with the word enscribed upon the box, that the MoM's name derives from the seventh deadly sin superbia (pride). If X is taken for it's original meaning - death, or endings - then "XSuper" might mean "The death of pride". The Master of Masters has destroyed himself, shattering his heart into 20 pieces and then locking them away inside of the box. As for the rendition of him who speak with the foretellers.... a ghostly projection? I mean, it's happened before in Kingdom Hearts. Especially when a character harbours the heart of another inside them. After talking about avoiding the conflict for the entirety of the storyline of X up to the keyblade war, Master Ava enters into the conflict and, if the player is a member of another union, fights them. When the player asks her why she has changed tune about the war, she simply says "There are some secrets no-one should ever know". Maybe she found out something about the nature of the Master or the X-blade, or (crack theory overdrive), the splintered pieces of the X-blade that must return to their father the master of masters fullmetal alchemist style to all get inside the box or somethi I don't know I'm just gonna stop this insanity train here. Also slightly related mini crack theory: A key-shaped weapon forged by man during the age of fairy tales. Any other origins have yet to be revealed. - DDD glossary on Keyblades. Of all the keyblades in existence, Master Xehanort's is the most ancient. - Young Xehanort. What if Master Xehanort's keyblade was not man-made? What if it existed before the hypothetical forging of the original X-Blade? If the original X-blade, potentially the Master of Masters, was created through some high impact light-darkness collision, what if this Keyblade was wielded by some ancient force of evil, who then clashed with another ancient force of light? So yeah tl;dr, Vanitas + Ventus = X blade, therefore maybe original X blade = someone + someone = the Master of Masters. That's it that's the theory you can go home now.
  11. As the title asks, how do you think the plot of this already bizarre story is going to go about? We've got some weird Unchained world (possibly inside the Realm of Sleep?), Ventus is here for some reason, there are two more people that are going to join Ephemer's crew and we don't know what they're going to do once they're all assembled. Also, the X-blade was noticeably absent from the finale in Kingdom Hearts X. It could be argued that without the χ-blade, the Keyblade War might never have been waged; after all, you cannot possess what you cannot find or unlock. - DDD Glossary Was the X-blade involved in the Keyblade War? Is it what's in the master's box? I personally have no idea what's going to happen, only that I have a particularly bad feeling. The simple fact that Ventus is going to end up an amnesiac in the hands of Master Xehanort implies that the story is going to end in yet another tragedy.
  12. What was the point in renaming and rebranding Unchained X (chi) to Union X (cross)? Just to confuse people more? lol Now people have to get used to saying "cross" instead of "key". On the official KH website, they even replaced Unchained X with Union X on the timeline.
  13. In this issue of Famitsu it was stated that the Master of Masters has eyes that can see into the future. Using this ability, he wrote the Book of Prophecies. What if the Master of Masters' eyes are yellow? Ya know, like Xehanort's eyes. What if these yellow eyes that Xehanort has allows him to see into the future? That would definitely explain how he has been such an amazing tactician and has been able to predict pretty much everything that has happened so far. He even majorly surprised Yen Sid that he was able to predict such insane things. In Dream Drop Distance, Young Xehanort and Sora had this conversation. Sora questions Young Xehanort how Xehanort knew that Sora would be on Destiny Islands for his Mark of Mastery in the Realm of Sleep on that exact day. Young Xehanort just replies with "Simple." which obviously is not an answer. I've always assumed that this would be answered in 2.8 or KH3, and I think I might've finally found my answer. Thoughts? EDIT: This theory has been debunked by Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover.
  14. Well, i'm a little late, but it's finally done! Man, school really kicked my butt last month! Lol
  15. Hi guys, i'm new here but no so much. I did not introduce my self properly. I did not check about a category or section in which do that. Jumping on what is most important. I have a really big question. We all know that on September the adventure on KHX (browser game) has ended, but now that we know more about this Unchained (That i'm playing), that we have for granted that the storyline deviates from the previous one the question is obvious. Could we terminate our experience on the mobile game before the outdate of KH2.8? See, X counted something like more than 700 quests. On this one we are barely at 500 (475 to be specific). I don't care too much about answers like: I think... In my opinion... Not cause i don't trust you or cause i underate your thoughs. Just because are my same thoughs, so hearing about yours is not helpful. I want facts, declarations. I tried to search about this. I red that the story updates are generally 2 for month (still can't see that, i saw one for month). If this is true could we terminate the story in others 175 quests (counting two update per month)? Would this mean that backcover would take the events just right from what Nomura has left at the end of the game? I rather this, cause i would dislike a cinematic trasposition of what i've played. Just to not left this topic empty in contents i would like to share my theory about the master of masters and Luxu I cannot find spoiler code so i'll write it in white. Do not highlight if you don't want to know about In my opinion Luxu and the Master of master are the same person. This means that Xehanort is nothing more than a puppet. I would try to explain it better. Xehanort is just like Terra, a vessel in which he transferred himself to extend his lifetime. We know that he could travel in time only in the string of his lifetime, and what if he did it from the beginning? What if what we know as Master Xehanort, was the Master of Masters? What if Luxu itself was the Master of Masters. I think that the master of masters travelled in time taking is young person in that period to know more about the keyblade war. This would explain why the 2 of them have the same intents and why that MOST ANCIENT KEYBLADE is in the hand of Xehanort!
  16. This is just a minor theory I thought of and have not put too much thought into yet, but I thought I should share it. As we now know, each of the 5 Foretellers are named after 5 of the 7 Deadly Sins. Master Invi, of the Anguis Union, is named after the word "Invidia" which means envy. Master Gula, of the Leopardos Union, is named after the word "Gulam" which means gluttony. Master Ira, of the Unicornis Union, is named after the word "Ira" which means wrath. Master Aced, of the Ursus Union, is named after the word "Acedia" which means sloth. Master Ava, of the Vulpes Union, is named after the word "Avarice" which means greed. There are two 7 Deadly Sins missing here. Pride and lust. My theory is that the 6th Foreteller and the Master of Masters are named after these two Deadly Sins. Which one is named after each Deadly Sin? I'm not too sure. On a side note, it is very obvious that Xehanort's Keyblade fits right in with the Foretellers' Keyblades. And from the E3 KH3 trailer, we can tell that Xehanort's Keyblade most likely didn't belong to him originally as we see it hung up on a wall. I think it's very possible that his Keyblade originally belonged to Xehanort and Eraqus' master. Could this mean that Xehanort and Eraqus' master was related or somehow connected to the 6th Foreteller that we currently know little about? Who knows. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?
  17. I have issues regarding the latest trailer about the Unchained X. I'll be making it a point chronologically 1. The very first line we got is "this world is full of light". Let me emphasize it. "THIS WORLD". So basically, the unchained x is taking place in the WORLD that is already SEPARATED from one another. Meanwhile, in the Chi, or unchained chi world, it is implied that the world is ONE and connect with each other. But the Black Hooded guy specifically mentions "THIS world" so it means that the world is already separated, which means, this is not from the past, but merely a world with a past-looking time. Remember that tron world looks so futuristic while Mulan world looks so traditional? It means that every world can have a different aspect of time 2. "Darkness will prevail, and the light will expire". Kinda rings the bell huh? 3. The Book of Prophecies contains all the event from the future. But why this event isn't written there?. It might be because the master intended it , OR the master didn't see it coming. The latter seems promising though. You see, maybe the Master indeed foresee the future, but what if there is an anomaly? By which I mean, SOMEONE FROM THE OTHER WORLD wreaking havoc in a world that making the world unstable, and thus, cannot be predicted by the master because the master can only foresee the world itself without any consideration of any outsiders coming to the world 4. Then next we see a scene where Unicornis spoke humbly to the black hooded guy. At first I thought it was the master but let's look at the "master". He wasn't wise, he was some sort of a slacker, and he was childish, his voice also very childish, Xigbar? Is that you?. Then why Unicornis spoke very humbly? It's maybe because the hooded guy was some sort like their master, can foresee the future or seems to have feat above the other foretellers. I assume that this guy is actually Xigbar/Braig. Why? Because in both games we saw King Mickey trio went to their world with GUMMI SHIP. And gummi ship is a tool to visit another world. Which means, if this game happened in the past there is no way Mickey would be alive. Thus, making the Xigbar Theory approvable. Why is Xigbar there? It might be related to his "own plan" that he said to Young Xehanort in a secret ending 5. "We need to defy the master teachings to protect the world" -Ursus. This guy is really a traitor if i might say. Why he wanted to defy master teachings? Simply because we could see in the game, that the black hooded guy, is manipulating the foretellers to believe that the traitor is among them to create a war and wreak havoc between them. And ursus, because of the master is gone, was led to believe the Black Hooded man, who seemed to be godlike or know the future or master-like or whatever. In the previous scene the Black Hooded guy even disapprove to prevent the war, meaning that He DO proposed to create a war. Welp, a long post. Potatoes everyone?
  18. When the likes of Ephemera appeared in Chi, people automatically jumped on the bandwagon that he could be a seeker of darkness. I myself was semi sympathetic; semi skeptical. Carrying on when Skuld was introduced again people jumped on the bandwagon. Yet excluding the rebirth theory ( which off topic I'm still not a fan of) or some more complicated time travel rubbish, it didn't add up how they could appear in modern times. However, I think this has changed without the need for Xehanort to be alive during the chi era adding a realistic prospective for a change. In the last story update Master Ava expressed knowledge of the up coming keyblade war and revealed her plans to create Dandelions ( awful name I know- especially since they are weeds) to send a special group of keyblade wielders to another world to escape the upcoming war. If Square did wish to pursue this to modern times; then this could work within the storyline. Time flows differently depending on what realm you are in, so I propose the dandelions were sent to another realm. We've seen the Realms of light; darkness; sleep, inbetween. so it's extremely plausible there are other unknown realms out there; therefore if such realm exists then time would flow differently to that of the realm of light where the majority of the series takes place. We know the keyblade war is a historic fact and I hate to break it to people but our own individual characters will probably die ( cheery thought). We also know the worlds were remade and were not United anymore; however I question whether the dandelions were successful. Kairi's grandmother in her fairytale story refers to the light of children being the cause for this. I do not believe these were the dandelions at all; after all if that was the case; one would expect a lot more wielders to present or a wider knowledge; also as those of you know fairy tales focus on all aspects and there isn't record of a ' key shaped weapon' or ' valiant Warriors'. Thereby I conclude the dandelions are still where Ava sent them. This links to KH3 due to the fact if they are lost; you could have a hunt to find them. The idea of Xehanort knowing about this isn't unrealistic; especially since his master or the master's master could have been around to remember that individuals disappeared before the keyblade war. Thus making them the subject of legends almost like a concept of hidden treasure. To provide a brief summary- consider the dandelions like King Arthur in British folklore, powerful and wise and waiting for a return. The interesting outcome would be how precious keyblade wielders adapt the new world they might find themselves in and that could be exploited to serve the darkness either as an ally to Xehanort or as a future antagonist

  21. The last story update was very, very, very Interesting and made me think think of possible scenarios of ways we could relate this to Kh3 and the upcoming Keyblade War. Firstly I'll provide a summary to serve as a hypothesis for a potential ' Heartless of the Fallen' scenario. Our Avatar encounters a new character called Skuld who appears to have come from the same faction as our missing friend Ephemera. In her dream Ephemera told her to seek out our Avatar and also added that the End is near. We then hear a loud explosion nearby and see 2 Foretellers in full combat; this is where a group of Heartless appear and start to demand for the Lux. Prompting a fight between them and us, the Dark Chirithy then reveals they were ex keyblade wielders that gave into the darkness... Right; let me know explain my ' Heartless of the Fallen' situation ( Later becoming Seeekrs of Darkness) I believe that when a Keyblade wielders becomes a heartless then the ' Fallen wielder' maintains full consciousness and has free will to decide their actions rather than Heartless purely seeking out new hearts to capture. Although a brief defintion; I hope you get the basic drift. Now if they willingly accept darkness then I'd wager that this makes them the amongst the truly first ' Seekers of Darkness'. This is my first small tie in to KH3- I don't believe these new enemies want the Lux to simply eradicate the light; however I think like Xehanort they want the Lux to create an Equilibrium between Light and Darkness. However if one wanted to take another path and believe that our ' Seekers of Darkness' do wish to have the light themselves then we could relate this to the Keyblade War where the light was fought over and seeing as power is a key element to the fall of these wielders then this could explain their motivation. Linking directly to the Keyblade War- I believe that these wielders belong to the same faction as those of the 6th apprentice. Just because they didn't become a foreteller we have no evidence to suggest that they didn't take on apprentices of their own and I believe what we fought were the ex apprentices of the 6th apprentice and that whilst the foretellers probably did clash; I believe these seekers of darkness also contributed to the war and perhaps we'll see a shift from the Foretellers clashing to the original ' Guardians of Light' ( foretellers; our avatar and the other apprentices) vs the 6th apprentice and the seekers of darkness. Not only would this increase the importance of the 6th apprentice; but also directly relate to Kh3. I'd be willing to wager that the second keyblade war will play a similar way to the above. Also and this is the part which may seem controversial; what If either the 12 other seekers of darkness Morphed into what we saw in KH3 and that a fully norted person evolves to one of these beings? Or secondly what if during the final battle with Xehanort; he completely accepts the darkness and becomes a ' seeker of darkness' and this could act as an Almost ' God form' meaning he'd be hard to defeat and that the Lux gathered during CHI provides Sora with the strength to defeat him.

  23. Hi guys I would like to open this discussion to talk to you and ask you to Kingdom hearts unchained x. I start with the domnada: do you think I should begin to play in JAP with the iPhone or wait to come out with us? I ask this especially to those who have already started the game, that is understandable and a little? And then there will be some problems when it will resume when it comes out too? That was the question I wanted to ask you ... Now we move on to what I wanted to say: Many are suggesting that UX will never exit ever from us because they think that back cover enclose the story of unchained, but it is not because the back cover will contain a part UX for phones and a part of that for PC and then some additional things ... so we should play it to understand more ... Now I want to say something additional to the release date a few weeks ago said that in the Square North America will land soon, but for the Square short word has a meaning? I say this because the word means short 3-4 days maximum 1-2 weeks not a month !! I have finished tell me your
