  1. In case you've forgotten through the midst of all the recent Kingdom Hearts news, the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater event is being held on November 3rd, 2015, which is just over two weeks away (as of October 15th, 2015)! We are expecting new information (most likely a new trailer according to the name "premium theater") regarding Kingdom Hearts III, in addition to possible news about Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. We are assuming the event will be private, with heavy restrictions on recording devices and flash photography. That being said, we will be livetweeting information as it comes on our KH13.com Twitter account. Of course, we will be updating the site with an article as quickly as possible as we receive, interpret, and understand information we are given. In order to commemorate the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater event, we will be counting down days until the event on our social media accounts by revisiting news we've received about Kingdom Hearts III for the past few years. 7. I’m helping a friend with characters on Dreams and we want a good depiction of these characters unmasked or unhooded and MoM’s Keyblade. Another cool thing to see would be a depiction of how Daybreak Town turns into Scala ad Caelum or an entire world with Daybreak Town and Disney worlds connected on one land mass
  8. Good evening. Long time no see. The KH-related announcement video is scheduled to be released at midnight tomorrow, and it is being written for rave reviews. Since it was originally scheduled to be announced in April, it is a prior notice because it is a prelude and a late time that it is irrelevant to some of the topic that came from the other side of the sea and some who were a while ago. The hint is a lottery ticket! @Nomura Translation There may be an mistake
  9. Multiple individual journalists have been claiming to have inside information about a Kingdom Hearts animated series being in the works for Disney+, Disney's subscription video on-demand streaming service. While a Kingdom Hearts TV show has been rumored to be in production multiple times in the past, with one even being canceled in the series's early years, this is the first time multiple reporters from a handful of popular Disney news sites are claiming this to be true at the same time. Jeremy Conrad, founder and editor-in-chief at MCU Cosmic, DCEU Mythic, and Star War Unity, with previous work history with IGN and in supporting roles in video games production, hinted at this earlier today with a cryptic tweet. Daniel Richtman, known as a Disney news insider, had also made a strange Kingdom Hearts tweet earlier, which he retweeted for emphasis. Emre Kaya, a film and TV reporter at The Cinema Spot and former writer for Geeks WorldWide (GWW), followed with a short Twitter thread, claiming that they have inside information about the matter. Skyler Shuler, editor-in-chief at The DisInsider, then reported that Jeremy's post was "true". Shuler also tweeted that the alleged new Kingdom Hearts series would not be live action. We will be keeping an eye on this rumour and provide relevant updates as it develops. What do you guys think – is there any truth to this rumor? Do you think we will be seeing a Kingdom Hearts (CG) animated series at last? Let us know in the comments! View full article

  18. A new video has been uploaded on the late XXXTENTACION's YouTube channel featuring "Nocturne", a track composed by Kingdom Hearts composer Yoko Shimomura in memory of the late musician Jahseh Onfroy, who was a big fan of Kingdom Hearts. Here, Shimomura is seen playing the piano for the track; at the end of the video, Yoko responds to an question on why she decided to name the track "Nocturne", while a video of Onfroy listening to her music on repeat on a boat plays in the background. The video also features tweets that Onfroy had made about his love for Kingdom Hearts. "Nocturne" is featured on the Deluxe edition of XXXTentacion's second studio album "?", which released today. Shimomura said on Twitter that she composed the track while thinking about what Onfroy was thinking in the very last moments before his death, and that she would be happy if fans would listen to it. She also wrote that Onfroy loved her music so much that he listened to her songs before going to bed every night. She added that when she was shown the video of Onfroy on the boat listening to Kingdom Hearts music (more specifically, the track "Vector to the Heavens" from Shimomura's album "memória!"), it brought her to tears. You can watch the video and listen to "Nocturne" below. The description of the video is as follows. Translations for this article were provided by KH13 Staff @Mio-chan. View full article

  21. It is currently 11 pm and I wanna talk about this COnTrOvErSiAl topic I hate that the mere act of talking about FF representation in KH is now a dumpster fire waiting to happen. It's incredibly stupid, that people have tried so hard to dismiss this topic, yet it remains to be the one problem that even some ardent KH3 fans will admit to sharing and that really pisses some allegedly "positive" people off. How dare fans enjoy something that has been a fairly large part of the main games! I should probably make clear, I do include TWEWY as this, I suppose a better catch all term is SE characters. In my opinion, there's limitless potential for FF characters to appear in KH games, both previous and upcoming. Not only would some characters tie in brilliantly with Disney worlds (I can't really get over how well Zidane would fit in a King of Thieves Agrabah), but more of them can tie in even better to the main plot. And even if they don't tie into the main plot, KH2 has given sufficient setup for future games to take advantage of the FF crowd currently already in the series and give them their own sub plots. Pretty neat huh. I've touched vaguely in plenty of other posts going back years now on this topic, almost all of which are along the lines of "Vaan in Treasure Planet!!!!!" however I recently played FF8 to the end for the first time, and there was something that really intrigued me. It wasn't Rinoa and her tease in the KH2 credits, but it was actually Squall's adoptive older sister Ellone. In case you haven't played the game, let me give you a very brief and quite likely incorrect briefing on Ellone: She was made an orphan at a very young age, raised by Squall's parents whom she referred to as uncle and auntie, kidnapped by oppressive forces who wanted to use her powers for their own ends, eventually sent to an orphanage along with Squall, said orphanage could not protect her for all that long and thus she was put on a ship for her own safety, with no way to contact her brother, and very little stability in her life at all. Did I also mention, her powers are of the "affects memory" kind? Now who does that remind you of? Why it can only be: Not only are the parallels between the two characters pretty great, but as Ellone is someone who's about a decade (well seeing as Namine's like 2 years old maybe two) older she could offer a lot to Namine in the way of mentorship, advice, or perhaps even just being a cute cameo if that's all it amounts to, but personally I believe there's a lot of depth here for a fleshed out relationship to be achieved. What FF/SE character would you like to implement and how would it even work? Or would it just be a SQUEEE AURON type cameo? Both would be A okay with me, but there's one that I definitely prefer.
