Merilly repliedincluding a comatose Sora and a slowly materializing Master Xehanort. Mickey interrupts them with Stopza but Master Xehanort takes over his younger counterpart to fight against Riku and keep them away from Sora. They fight but ultimately, time moves again and Master Xehanort returns.
Merilly repliedAbout to place his heart inside of Sora, Riku and Mickey are rendered immobile by Xemnas and Ansem SoD but Lea shows up in time to prevent Sora from becoming a vessel.
They escape because the vessels are running out of time but Sora is still trapped in his sleep.
They bring him back to Yen Sid's tower, where Riku enters his dream once more and has to fight Sora protected by Ven's armor, which has been turned into a nightmare.
Riku succeeds and meets the people residing...
Merilly repliedin Sora's heart, Ven, Roxas and Xion before meeting with Ansem the Wise who tells him that they can be saved by Sora and also tells him that Sora is awake.
Riku passes his Mark of Mastery while Sora doesn't and Lea gains the ability to wield a Keyblade.
That's about the gist of it. There are many more details and explanations, and also questions, but that's about the gist.
Merilly repliedIt's actually more like the last two hours are very condensed and there are a lot of open questions due to the time travel components. Of course time travel is subjected to rules, which makes it a little less complicated but it's still not clear how some elements work and how they will be incorporated into KH3. As per usual... And it's just the gist.

Nomura's interview about the worlds saying that they spent more time on each world to make them bigger and deeper made me wonder if there will be less worlds than the other titles...what are your thoughts guys?
Master Eraqus repliedIt was actually stated that KH3 will have more worlds than KH2 in an earlier interview in, I think, 2015.

From what we've seen so far, the worlds definetly look bigger and awesome, but it would kind of a let down having few worlds when KH had 14 and KH2 had 15 worlds. I would be fine with 14-15 worlds, but less than 10 would be awful...

Green Sparrow repliedBased on the quote provided by Master Eraqus, it sounds like they INTEND to have more worlds than KH2, but based on time and whatnot, KH3 could potentially have less than KH2, though that is not ideal for Nomura.

Akeyroh repliedI'm still kinda worried. Maybe they considered using much more worlds in KH3, it could be possible that they scrapped this idea because they found out that creating one world is taking longer than expected. He also said that summons would return but we haven't seen that at all (though it could be the Link-Command).

It's really sad how we just got a release date and everyone is already expecting a delay...
KHLegendIII repliedYeah, I think people should calm down unless it actually happens, the only reason 2.8 got delayed was because off FFXV's delay. But we'll see what happens.
littleTSUBAME repliedI think people just don't want to get overhyped about it, so that they won't get annoyed if it's delayed. ^^ Which is entirely possible, but not something that's guaranteed to happen. I guess we should just wait and see what happens. :>
Headphone Jack repliedgiven how many games have come out this generation with delays i would say it's not crazy to expect at least some kind of delay for KH3. just trying to be realistic is all.
PrinceNoctis repliedNomura and Square know how long people have waited for this game...I'm sure they've thought long and hard about revealing a release window and I believe that if they decided to reveal it, it is because they're confident they will be able to release it within that year. I just think it's sad that after waiting and complaining for a release window for so long, most people don't even want to accept it...make up your mind lol

I'm not sure if Lea's gonna be a light or not. The new trailer confirmed for me that he wasn't going back to the organization (since Xehanort's looking for another darkness) but I know there are way more than seven GoL candidates.

I really recommend watching the Japanese KH3 trailer. The gameplay is very different and imo so much better than the English trailer. The combos in the English trailer still seemed a bit floaty but the Japanese trailer looked a lot better!
