I want Riku to....

 

1) Go along with Sora in KH3. I would love for Riku to encounter people he's done wrong in KH1. I know he spends several games in guilt, but instead of having so much internal conflict, it would make more sense to go up and talk to people like the Beast, Belle, and Jasmine. And for once, if Riku goes along with Sora, Riku will actually make friends. 

 

2) GET BETTER CLOTHES. Sora looks badass in KH2, but then there's Riku, who seems like he got the cheap ends of the clothes. 

 

 

Do any of you agree/disagree with me? What are your thoughts on this? 

I want RIku to firetruck Sora in the next game.

I agree and disagree with some points on both of these.

 

@1)Some how I imagine Riku doing a lot of things alone or with other people other than Sora, e.g. Kairi. In fact, if Riku had to be paired up with one person the majority of KH3 I think I'd rather see him with Kairi because despite what the series tells us about how good of friends they are they have almost no development what so ever and Sora/Riku have oodles. I do love the idea that Riku should go to worlds of characters that he's done wrong and make amends. I don't think Riku needs Sora to make friends though.  

 

@2)Riku needs better duds. I think his KH2 outfit is better than his KH1 outfit but it could have been better. I think Sora's KH2 outfit looked horrid. It was a mish mash of way to much stuff and I didn't find it appealing. Sora should also never wear chaps again.

I want Riku to carry a sniper rifle and instead of hand to hand combat with grampa he just shoots him from a distance. That ought to take care of him

I want Riku to sing and dance in KH3

I want him to do a keyblade guitar solo and buy a twinkie for me.

1) Well I actually agree with this. Sora and Riku going back to the old worlds and remembering all the old memories. Maybe even having one final battle with each of the Disney villains plus Riku joining in the fight to repay everything he did. 

 

2) Ah, well. I think Riku and Sora should both get new clothes in KH3 just for a change, but I actually quite liked Riku's outfit in KH2, it seemed to just fit him perfectly.

haha yes!!!! but won't the next game need to include storylines of:

-kairi learning to wield a keyblade

-discovering who the people are who are being controlled by darkness (the 12 that are there so far)

-and discovering who gramps's next target is for the 13th member of the group 

-helping the rest of the 7 to come back (either from the realm of darkness, giving back their heart etc.) 

-with all these plot points as much as i hate to say it... donald and goofy are not one of the seven and this thing with riku letting go of his past and accepting his newfound mastership, the reviving of the seven and the attempted mastery of keyblade weilding from them, and then also kairi learning to wield the keyblade properly... it looks as if kairi and riku are going to be the main party members this is great but i'm going to miss them   (this is all speculation of course but just from this it allready sounds like this could be the best kh  storyline ever!!!!!) hahaha I"M PUMPED!!!!!

3. He should totally ask Sora out in kh3

I want his hair to turn black after Xehanort is defeated. Then he can just wear a plain white shirt with jeans. Actually, he should wear a yellow tracksuit with black stripes on the sides of the arms and torso which extends up to his trousers and yellow sneakers decorated with black stripes. Also, I want him to have a crush on Yuffie. Also, I would like to have Yuffie seduce him at one point, & then have Riku say, "No, no, no! I'm not that kind of guy! Stop it!" Then Sora should say, "then close the gap in your fingers", with Riku replying with, "Sora, don't be such a troll!"

I would like Riku to get a girlfriend in KH3. He really needs one.

Personally I don't want Riku as a party member while playing the main game (it would feel tool over-powered have 2 keyblade wielders on one party, I understand it near the end in a boss fight would be neat but throughout the entire game, not for me)

 

I'd also like him to develop a love interest.  Replaying old KH you see all this bonding with Sora and Kairi, them drawing eachother exchanging paopu fruit, hugging and Riku just there like a third wheel who also felt deeply for Kairi.  It's just like.  Awk.  Wee Riku ):

 

When Aqua comes out she would have only aged a year and be roughly Riku's age.  They should bang.  Two keyblade masters together? Sweet 

 

Or else Namine.  I don't know why, but I've recently started shipping Riku with Namine more rather than Roxas with Namine.  Something about it, feels right.

3. Riku's Part of the Final Battle.

Riku's sexier by himself. Going by what I said earlier I'd much prefer it if they developed his relationship with Kairi as friends because the SRK trio is less a "trio" and more either Sora/Kairi or Sora/Riku with Sora/Riku/Kairi sometimes. Besides I'd rather they not make KH too romance orientated, they should just keep it limited to the occasional SoKai fluff.

 

Although I do agree that Riku deserves to get laid. Not a girlfriend, just a one night stand or something.

I want Riku to interact with people besides Sora 1) so his past actions revolve around more than his internal conflicts and his immediate buddies, and 2) so the annoying yaoi fangirls will stop squeeing for a change and maybe they'll get a chance to change their panties.

I don't really want Riku traveling with Sora either.  He made an amazing standalone character in Re:COM and DDD, so I'd love it if they could pull something like a Birth by Sleep format and have Sora, Riku, and Kairi have their own story in the game. 

 

Secondly, Riku and Kairi should be together.  Or no one should be with Kairi at all.  Honestly, the KH series isn't based off romance, so I wouldn't be hurt if they did no romance period, but if anyone's going to be with Kairi I'd say Riku should.  But, again, that's just my own opinion.

 

And thirdly, well, I hope he gets his normal attitude back instead of pretending to be some heroic Keyblade wielder that he's not.

 

And fourth, he needs to let his hair grow back out.

Y'know, this isn't a bad idea.  As much as I like Riku, his death would be a very memorable moment in the KH series.  But, then again, no one in the series ever really dies, so chances of Nomura actually enacting this are slim.
