So what would you think and how would you feel if KH3 become another "Sonic 06" And of course by "another SOnic 06" I mean like, if the game had tons of bugs and glitches, unfinished character models, and dumb and pointless story (which most KH games don't have except for Coded), and was completely rushed. I'm not saying that that will likely happen with KH3. But I'm just asking a "what if" question here.

I'm pretty sure KH3 is the best example of a game that isn't rushed.

unlikely to happen. The fans want the game to be perfect since it's the last in the xehanort saga. And Nomura won't release it until he's sure it's perfect.

It won't, Kingdom Hearts III WILL become the upmost important video game of my entire life, possibly for a few others too, there's no way it's going to let us all down, plus the fact that we've all waited at least a decade for it to appear, to disappoint the fans would be to disrespect them too, after all the time and hype we're prepared waiting for Kingdom Hearts III, trust me, have a little faith and see what awaits us all down the road, the road....to dawn :].

I sincerely doubt it. I'm more afraid it'll become the next Watch Dogs. Overhyped and average.

The real question we should be asking is that will KH3 the next The Last Of Us.

Square Enix made many sacrifices for KHIII, so I am expecting it to be one of the best games of all time.

But if it became similar to Sonic 06 then I would wash my hands from Nomura.... He will be forgotten....The man that never was.......

According to an interview I read apparently Coded gives us insight to what Mickey's doing in KH1.  I personally haven't played it to know.  But if that's the case he technically found a way to reveal "Mickey's Journey"

 

The only way I could see it being such a fail is if they bow down to pressure from impatient consumers and rush it.  With such a highly anticipated game, I can't see them doing it, or being allowed to do it by their CEOs.

Won't happen. Sonic 2006 didn't even get a fourth of the time that Kingdom Hearts III got in terms of development and conceptualizing, they aren't trying to meet some deadline (an oddly fitting phrase seeing as to how 2006 became the game that it is), and they put the quality of the game first. And another thing, Square and Sega/Sonic Team are separate companies with completely different work ethics. Whatever mistakes either company makes can't really be compared to each other, as each holds different standards, so when they "fail" at something, they're failing in different ways. So, no, I don't think Kingdom Hearts III will ever be the "Sonic 06" of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, because in my mind, such a thing can't exist. Whatever mistake they make in the future will be their own, and it will be nothing like that of some other company. And going to say this for the record, Coded was NOT pointless. Sorry if everybody didn't like it as much as Days or BbS, but the fact is that it's there, it matters, end of story.

Say what you will about the game designers of KH (Osaka Team I think). They have way more credibility and respect for their franchise than Sonic Team does. Could KH3 be bad and disappointing? Possibly. But I'm willing to bet it will NEVER be on Sonic 06 levels of bad.

I've played Coded and never saw anything like this. Then again, I didn't 100% it, so maybe I just missed something.

This is Kingdom Hearts, one of the best video game series of all time made by one of the best companies of all time. KH3 is a game everyone has been waiting YEARS for, so Square can't really do a crappy job. I have a lot of faith in Square right now so they better not disappoint us unless they want people to get hurt.

Well, It wont.

 

But if Satan possessed the game developers and it did happen, then Nomura's going to get a looooot of death threats.

 

Not to mention that I think that Square is more reliable than Sega when it comes to its games. The chance of a new 3D Sonic game being a good game is like the lottery. You might get a good one sometimes, but more than half the time you get a bad one.

Yeah, no, it scares me to even think about that. I would most likely never buy any KH games anymore. The plan is to not play anymore KH games after KH3 because of the constant waiting I am forced to endure with the series, but an unfinished and buggy KH3 would reduce it from a 1% chance to a 0.

 

Edit: I mean, come on. If there would ever be a KH4, you'd probably have to wait until the Playstation 6.

If it ends up being terrible I'll only acknowledge KH, CoM, and KH2 as the only real games of the series because to me they can form a pretty solid trilogy. Ignoring a couple of plot holes of course. 

If that happened Square Enix would have ALOT of enemies.
