Shulk 8,623 Posted December 1, 2014 There are a ton of glitches in KH. They even made a game centered around them! 20 HeyMouseSayCheese, Danex Darkfire +, Ven983 and 17 others reacted to this
HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted December 1, 2014 Because well made games tend to not have crazy game-breaking glitches. It's easy to forget that in this age of AC: Unity, Sonic Boom and whatever Bethesda releases next. 2 Exiblade7 and Ceriraye reacted to this

Shulk 8,623 Posted December 1, 2014 well I didn't find any glitches when I was playing the games. I believe you if you say so. I was making a joke about Re:Coded. I haven't noticed many glitches, although I have found a few. There's a really funny one when you return to Destiny Island at the end of KHI that lets you practically go into space, and I've had Sephiroth glitch on me in KHII. That's all I can really say I've found, though. 2 Exiblade7 and Sendou Aichi reacted to this
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 1, 2014 As HeyMouseSayCheese pointed out, well made games tend to not have any glitches, and the Kingdom Hearts series has always been well made with great production values! I don't have anything to complain about the games. Haha, there was this one glitch in Dream Drop Distance where I was playing as Riku in The World That Never Was, and when I used Flowmotion, I seemed to dash through the wall and floated in midair. I could still see the castle, but Riku was floating in midair and the outside of the walls was dark with clouds swirling around me. I have to say that it was a very funny glitch! There are a ton of glitches in KH. They even made a game centered around them! Oh my God, man, that was genius! Lol, you should make a meme about that or something! Lol, that was a great joke! Kaweebo 3,617 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) I remember that glitch where you could see Kairi's panties under her skirt in KHII. I think that's fixed, though, Now it's just an empty void, like it always was. I think that's fixed, though, Now it's just an empty void, like it always was. Was that even a glitch? I though it was just a certain camera angle that lets you get a creepy look at her character model, like pausing when Peach is in the air in Smash Bros. Yes I have looked up both character's skirts in-game, and I'm only a little ashamed of it. (And how the firetruck is an empty void more "fixed" than panties? That's disgusting and horrifying!) Skhyatze 165 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) The Japanese Version of KH2 is awful. Very glitchy. Look up the Trinity Glitch. KH1FMHD was a awful port. It only had like 2 programmers so it was very glitchy. It crashed a lot and other glitches like the Infinite Dodge Roll. KH2ENG has glitches like softlocks that happen at very rare occasions and has a realy stupid glicth where your items appear if you do certain things. The games are very well programmed games. The English versions are less glitchy because they come out at later times so the JP versions usually have more glitches. Was that even a glitch? I though it was just a certain camera angle that lets you get a creepy look at her character model, like pausing when Peach is in the air in Smash Bros. It was an easter egg. I think they made an entire texture just for her panties so I doubt it was a glitch. In KH1 you can see panties in a few other places like Selphie and Jane. HumbleGamer 76 Posted December 1, 2014 Well in 1.5 there's the infinite dodge roll glitch, the glitch where you can skip half of the gummie ship route on your way back to Hollow Bastion the second time around, in the original KH there was the infinite jump glitch right before the first Ansem fight, there was a glitch in DDD like Dr. Shimo said although I can't remember what it was, but besides those glitches KH is practically flawless. The reason for that is because big Square tends to try to make their games as flawless as possible in terms of glitches, but I can't really think of a better reason than that. I mean, I won't now because I'm no longer 15 years old, but it's interesting that I never even knew that.

WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted December 1, 2014 I have had a few glitches happen to me when I was playing Kingdom Hearts before. In the first game on my PS2, there was this one time when I saved the game at the beginning into two different save files and then when I started the game again on the other one, after completing the game on one, when I first met up with Donald and Goofy, they had their same weapons that they were using in the other save file. And then of course I had a few camera issues that I don't know if you could call them a glitch but they were terrible. And I have been playing sometimes and was teleported to another place on screen. Cyber Shaman 990 Posted December 1, 2014 It's pretty rare to have an RPG gllitch and if it does, it's mostly due to the downloaded patch OR the disk itself.

hatok 6,413 Posted December 1, 2014 It is polish, but narrowing it down to 'well made games' is oversimplifying KH isn't really a game that pushes limits. The worlds are small, and besides KH1 (which is probably the glitchiest one) focuses almost entirely on combat. The graphics don't glitch out often because Square Enix's thing is graphics. They've been pushing that technological limitation since the PS1 But when KH got bigger, KH3D, glitches showed up again. Sometimes glitches are the cause of lazy or overly pressured programmers, like Sonic Boom or Sonic 06. Sometimes, there's simply too much going on, like Bethesda games or Assassin's Creed games. It's something I like about KH, it focuses on specific things and does them really well. The presentation gets better adn better, and the combat has its ups and downs, but remains functional. Because they know exactly what they want out of KH, they can achieve a nearly Nintendo level of polish

I don't know what version of KHFM HD you were playing, but it never crashed for me, never did that infinite dodge roll and over all was an excellent port. Ever consider that you just had a bad disc? Because it does happen on occasion. As for glitches in the rest of the series, yes there has been several, but they are usually fixed by their Final Mix versions, or a patch, as was the case of Dream Drop Distance. One minor glitch in KH2 was where Wisdom Form had the sleeve decals of Master Form instead of it's own. Unlike Kairi's panties, that was clearly a texture glitch. I had also heard reports about a glitch with BBS FM, but haven't discovered anything else concerning it.
