Need some prayers, I am being tested for Marfan's Syndrome, and am having to have an ultrasound to look for an enlarged aorta and I am having to have genetic test done. I was diagnosed with an "unspecified genetic disorder of the connective tissue" and hyper-flexibility today

20 minigames in KH3 is too much. I would sacrifice 15 for another World.
Merilly repliedTo be honest, it depends on the scope. It looks like some of these will be rather short and straightforward, so 20 may not be many. Another is the overall scope of the worlds. If the worlds really are the length of a whole game (excluding 0.2), we may be way over the 100 hours mark, where twenty short minigames are nothing in comparison to some of the more elaborate ones of old games.
I'm not a fan of minigames. Not at all, but they're part of a lot of games in varying degrees.
PrinceNoctis repliedI really doubt the worlds will be that big. Yes, I know Tai Yasue said one world was like one previous game. But remember back when 0.2 came out, they were saying that it was originally supposed to be the size of a world but exceeded that length. So one world is less than 3-4 hours in KH3 for all we know (when it comes to story at least, maybe not extra content).
Merilly repliedIt's really hard to tell... I'm also thinking more along the lines of 4-5 hours at most, but they tend to go back on what they've said a lot or even exaggerate things so I'm always taking the interviews with a grain of salt. It's more of a 'what if' situation right now, which is why I'm careful with claiming things. For example, a few years back they said it would be weird if 3 had fewer worlds than 2 and now they ditched that in favor of larger worlds.
Merilly repliedI don't even blame them since people have so many questions and they are not even allowed to answer a lot of them and things just change during development. Can't be helped, although I do think 3 should be significantly longer than previous entries with how much they have to address.
Hero of Winds repliedThe worlds size will be as big as an entire game. Each world should take about 3-4 hours. Basically, people confuse size with length fairly often.
Merilly repliedThe comparison of size and length has nothing to do with confusing it though since in other games, you still need a certain amount of time to traverse a certain amount of ground. Previous KH games haven't exactly been open world and while size isn't equal to length, they do relate to each other. Length is a more open parameter of course due to factors such as skill, player behavior, etc. but then again, who knows what they're referring to in actuality?
Hero of Winds repliedI think the maps of the worlds will be huge and the length of time spent on it doing just the main stuff should take about 3-4 hours. I don't think most people want to be stuck in a world for almost 20 hours before making progress. It's a RPG at its core, so I don't think I'd mind sticking to the worlds for a bit extra time.
Merilly repliedAgreed. I think the core stuff in terms of story should not go beyond 5 hours at the most, though 3-4 hours would probably be more ideal for the average world, with the last one taking longer to complete. They have to address a lot things so there might be a lot of cutscenes in the end which may contribute to that, but you're right that I wouldn't want to have 20 hours of main story in just one world. Maybe with side stuff, like quests.

What's going to happen first, the airing of the last episode for the Steins;gate 0 anime or release of kingdom hearts 3?
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedDepends on big the anime is going to be. Like if it's going to be 13 episodes like some animes or longer than that like other animes. If it's as long as it's predecessor, then I'd say it's more likely that Steins;gate 0's last episode will air WAY before Kingdom Hearts 3. My guess is that KH 3 will release in November.
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedIn that case, if it's about 48 episodes long and the episodes release every Thursday like the first two episodes did, then it's definitely likely KH 3 will come out before it ends. Steins:gate 0 will most likely end March 2019. That is if there aren't any breaks or interruptions.

To think that E3 is just less than two months away boggles my mind! I have an awesome feeling that we'll get the official release month of Kingdom Hearts III there!

E3 is basically the best place for such an announcement and since it's the middle of the year and it's supposed to come out this year, it only makes sense to at least tell us the month. I won't be mad if they don't but in terms of marketing, it would make the most sense.KeybladeMasterBalo repliedI think in that point in time it would be the most smart move since it would be half of 2018 and if this game is going to be released this year then not revealing it would be motive for worry on delays and such. Other thing that bugs me it's no new world has been revealed yet and 2018 is flying, so how are they managing that?
Merilly repliedWell, they said they would reveal all worlds beforehand but reveal doesn't necessarily imply that we'll see much footage or any at all. Then there's the thing that there won't be as many Disney Worlds as before so I'm guessing there won't be that many reveals left. Worlds such as Radiant Garden probably wouldn't need much exposition, considering that the probability is rather high that it'll appear.
The Transcendent Key repliedAll of you make interesting points, and really, it's anyone's guess what's going to happen next in Kingdom Hearts III's marketing campaign, but considering that their site will be updated more frequently and that Nomura will be coming to the states more often to promote Kingdom Hearts III gives me the vibe we'll be getting a steadier stream of news and info, with E3 being the ultimate hype maker with a release month trailer and everything! Soon, everyone, soon!
