Nah, i hate to say (and sora and riku are already so well devloped in relationship it wont be hard to move the bar up at all) but if it was square alone maybe just  maybe. But disney has a say so too its either hetero no notero. but i highly doubt anything will be canon, kh is about friendship not romance. leave that for the disney couples.

To the question: No. There's not much romance in KH anyways, and there's just too many hints towards SoKai for SE to ignore. Sure, there might be some SoRiku subtext but it's really not that obvious and it's there if you want it to be... fanservice material?

I know it's already there, but I honestly think the story would be better without any romance. Sora and Kairi is probably the most I could take, and that's only really because it's been built up for so long.

I'm not against homosexual couples, but I really think that Sora and Kairi are the more likely ones to end up being a couple.  Namine's words to Sora in Re:Chain Of Memories couldn't be clearer!
