Kingdom Hearts III is a sequel to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan (January 25, 2019) and in North America, Europe and Australia (January 29, 2019).

300 thats to much no game cost 300 dollars and kh is no differt it well cost 59.99 like ever othere game unless you dont have the ps3 then youll be paying all that for it but still not 300 dollars

    I'd like there to be a KH movie, but will people actually watch it. Final Fantasy didn't do as well as they hoped.

    Yes, we kinda do. It's called being smart. The team that's working on Versus XIII will move onto KH3 when their finished. This has been confirmed by Nomura. So it's obvious it will be on the PS3. Their working on Versus XIII so that way they will know how to perfect KH3. There is no other suitable console for KH3.

     

    Dude dont call people dumb!. Plus you gotta stop this PS3 fanboying, I mean it seems more likely that any future Kingdom Hearts are gonna be on PS3 but theres mo need to get so defensive wen people have a different opinion to you!

    The biggest problem with the 2016 release date is that we are moving into the next gen of consoles and i am not buying a $500 console, why dont they just scrap FFV13 all the hype surrounding it has pretty much died and its killing KH3! Jk but i really hope they just hurry and finish the game this game is almost 6 years old im dying here.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! A movie is like 1-3 hours max,.. a game you can play 60 hours or something, that's just WAY more fun!!!

    Finishing the Xehanort Saga with a cheap B-movie would be the WORST THING EVER!

    Okay, HOLD UP. Kingdom Hearts 3D isn't the last one? But Kingdom Hearts III is? So Sora is seventeen in this one, then, right? Does that make Kingdom Hearts 3D another side-story? 2016?!?! Are you freaking serious?! That's in four years!

    I swear, if Sora and Kairi don't kiss in this one after four years between II and III, I'm going to rage

    actually, kingdom hearts 3d is NOT a side game. It has been officially marked as one of the MAIN games because it is so important.

    This is bulls@#!...KH3 is not goin to come until 2018 and here is y...Versus XIII is not dropping until maybe 1st qtr 2013 and after taking over 6 years to develop. Development on KH3 wont start until maybe 3rd qtr 2013. There was a 4 year gap between the first 2 games...sso its pretty hard to believe Nomura when he says the KH team can pull off developing KH3 on a next gen console in this generation in 2-3 with technology way more advanced than ps2 and the game will ofcourse longer and much more refined and detailed im thinking its goin to take atleast 5 years to make this series ending game which will be released during the next generation of consoles which is fast approaching. In conclusion KH3 will be realeased around 1st qtr 2018 which is disgusting and rediculous.

    wait a sec....im not the biggest FF fan out there....but Square Enix spent 5 years developing a game loads of people DID want, just to drop it? o.o how does that work?? :/

     

     

    from what they've said, KH3 should be the end of the Xehanort Saga, meaning after this, they'll have a new Saga within Kingdom Hearts. my guess (almost hope?) is that they'll make the next saga with the next generation (example, Sora and Kairi's Keyblade-wielding kid(s))

    wait so i was just on ign and it says that ff versus 13 has been cancelled, does that mean that they will work on kh 3 sooner? hopefully MUCH sooner, as in NOW?
